Everything was excellent, the guides especially Sam was 1st class knowledgeable and very helpful. All arrangements were minute perfect the accommodation was excellent. One of the friendliest countries we have visited and will visit again. Only disappointment was Eygpt air, worse airline we have ever used. Checking in it was obvious that preference was being given to lacl travellers not the way to increase tourist numbers and coming back the safety brief was not given until the flight which was late had reached cruising altitude. The most dangerous part being take off had there been an emergency on the runway no one would have known what to do.

Could not fault service from beginning to end of holiday it was a first class service the guide both in Cario and on the Nile cruise was very knowlegable and made the holiday an unforgettable experience.

Jenny our agent researched and recommended our trip for our party of four including my 92 year old mum.Was realistic about accessibility and chose cabins with easier accessibility to the ships main facilities and each other, for us. Good liaison with the local agents and guides allowed us to assess on an excursion by excursion basis what was accessible for us with little fuss, they offered plenty help and we bought in a ships crew member who accompanied us with the 'ships wheelchair' when needed.. we all had a great time. Getting on and off the cruise ship was the hardest obstacle as there were often many flights of steps and often only a narrow gang plank over a steep drop. But we took it slowly and it worked well with the additional help. Jenny even managed to arrange a seat upgrade for the return leg by phone while we were halfway up the Nile! Well done Orbital.

The tour guide, Aymmon (?) is worth his weight in gold - he was definitely one of the highlights of the cruise :-)

Booked a 3 night stay in Cairo (Mena House Hotel), a 7 day Nile cruise (Royal Esadora) and a 4 night stay in a red sea resort (Jaz Makadi Star) through orbital travel.

Before we left all queries were responded to promptly and they couldn't have been more helpful.

Once in Egypt all accommodation was wonderful, transfers were efficient and well organised and the included excursions were brilliant value. Our guide during the nile cruise (Adel) was the best tour guide I've ever had.

A fabulous experience from the moment we got off the plane in Egypt Transfers were 100 per cent spot on cruise was amazing and the stay in Cario was awesome. Every request we asked for at the time of Booking was completely fullfiled by the Cruise and the Hotel a big thank you to Jenny from Orbital travel who made sure we had a perfect Holiday I would highly recommend the Jaz royale, long Nile cruise a beautiful boat and the meridian pyramid hotel, thank you to everyone who was involved to make this holiday amazing. I have recently been on a 3 centre holiday in Eygpt. Most of the service was good but there were aspects that would have been good but spoilt by the experience later in the holiday. We were a group of 6 women travelling to Cairo after been on a Nile cruise and at an river island resort. We found out just before we left that we were on different flights and 2 newer travellers to Egypt being on a later flight. We should have been highlighted as Orbital were aware we were travelling as a group.

At Cairo airport there was no-one to meet us and when rep did arrive he did not apologise or introduce himself. We had no rep to our hotel and we were left in the hands of the driver who was answering his mobile phone while on the highway.

We only had 2 actual days in Cairo though it was sold as 3 night stay at the Mena House Hotel. 3 actual days would have been better. We did not get there until mid evening and had to check out before 5.30am. At the Mena House hotel we were greeted with poor service. The reception area was full of people and luggage with no area to rest or wait while the reception dealt with a large group and didn't call anyone else to help. In the background was a very loud noise of a variey of music and we found out the Mena House were catering for 4 weddings with couple of them using the outside. The noise did not stop till 10.30. In noise was very evident the room and the inside of the restaurant. Restaurant service was very slow. It took an hour from entering the restaurant before we got our food. This slow service did not change on other nights when there were no weddings to cater for.

A gripe I have is that Orbital avoids any trip to Edfu temple. Other groups on the boat go there but not Orbital. If Orbital openly express why they don't chose to go there then I guess I would not resent not go so much.
The all inclusive service for drinks is not as good as it could be. There is a pre 11.30 drinks ban. When there are no trips in the morning are you don't go on trip for any reason this bar is unreasonable as breakfast finishes at 9 and so there is no access to water or soft drinks in a hot climate.

If the service at the airport and welcome at the Mena House was better and the planning of the travel from Luxor to Cairo gave us more time in Cairo, Orbital would have got a better score.

I have used Orbital travel for many years now and cannot fault your service.
We have been on the Nile cruise five years running. The only thing is this year we were booked on the MS Monica (our favourite ship) but were put on the MS Esadora without being warned in advance. This was a disapointment but the Esadora
turned out to be equally good, Hopefully we will be on the Nile again next year.

The tour package from Orbital Travel (3 nights in Cairo/Giza, 7-night Nile cruise), including meals, hotel and 12 excursions, was one of the best travel experiences of my life. Our tour guides (Ayman in Giza, and especially Maged ("Magic") on the Nile cruise) were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and informative. We are planning using Orbital Travel for our future trips.

Greg was a total pleasure to deal with and all his tips, advise and travel hints were absolutely spot on!

On the whole very pleased with the service, bespoke itinerary made for a group of us in three different Egyptian locations. Knowledgeable local guides and greeted and guided at points of transfer. There was the odd glitch such as the group being booked on two different flights and a double bed being booked instead of twins. However a wonderful trip enjoyed by all.

The cruise on the river Nile from March 12 to 24 arranged by Obital Travel on M..S. Darakum was excellent.
