I placed an order on their site, but unfortunately, I was notified that the item was out of stock. The good news is that I got my money wired back in 1 day, with no hassle. Would recommend to a friend.

Absolutely rubbish returns policy. Avoid this firm like the plague. I have never been so disappointed with a company. Their goods are poorly described and they treat customers appallingly. Their 38% review grade should tell you all you want to know.

I was wary about ordering from OutdoorGB as I'd never even heard of them before. But I called their customer service number and spoke to a member of staff to ask more about the company and their ordering process. I later placed an order online and received my items the following week. I am happy with the service I received.

The company as a whole is terrible. Order the product and got an email the same day saying that it will take longer and to let them know if I want it or not. I replied to the email stating that I wanted the order. After around a week or two, I emailed customer services to ask whether or not my order had been shipped and they stated they did not receive the email sent about sending the order. They refused to put this review on their website so thought i’d put it here. They also ignored some of my emails complaining.

I bought a pair of expensive Salomon shoes for my wife, which arrived promptly and totally as expected however I had ordered the wrong size. That was when I discovered this website read some reviews and immediately became concerned at the prospect of returning them etc. However I have to speak as I find, the shoes were returned and a different size were again requested once more these arrived promptly exactly as requested but still did not fit. On talking to Outdoorgb they explained that Salomon shoes are quite a narrow fit and my wife's feet are certainly broad. They suggested I return them and they would refund me my money, we agreed to this, and they promptly did as promised. During this process I noted the following points 1. They were always easy to get hold of on the phone 2. Staff I spoke to were always polite and helpful 3. There communication verbal and email was excellent 4. Everything happened when they said it would 5. Customer service was outstanding 6. All the staff I spoke to or dealt with appeared to be singing from the same hymn sheet Despite not yet actually buying anything from Outdoorgb I would not hesitate to do internet buying with this company in the future, or hesitate to recommend them to friends or family. As I said, I can only speak as I found.

Apparantley my email address, the one I logged in and bought something with doesn't exist, 2 days after buying something, just hope it turns up. They have taken the money from my credit card. Tried to phone but's a Friday afternoon and not open until Monday.

Impossible to get a return address. !! Sent many emails, no reply .. 2 of the phone numbers I found for them are out of action, one that seemed to work just had voicemail, and they ignore messages there. After 8 days I sent the item via Hermes , signed for, to an office address on thier invoice. I will contact my credit card co if a refund does not happen. I think they maybe about to go bust - this is what happens when a company is going under - stay clear.

Ordered the trophy cam xlt, two days later it turns up. Excellent service, though had to laugh at the binoculars that came free with it, and to think it happened down the road and I didn't see it ;o) maybe next time.

Took 3 weeks for an item to arrive which was faulty. When i called to discuss i was told to email. I got no response. I sent another email to them and was told i have to pay to return the item, and only then will they consider a replacement, despite photos being sent proving the fault. If you need a product that's fully functional, or need it within a month of placing the order i would buy from someone else, even if it costs more.

Looking at the other reviews here they drag out providing exchanges and refunds too.

Ordered £70 alpine glasses, paid for 24hr delivery. Got an email saying it will take 3 weeks to arrive, and I was going away in 5 days. Spoke to salesperson and their manager, they refused to send out a similar model due to the small cost increase. Will never use again, highly don't recommend

Officially the worst website ive ever ordered off placed an order which said it will be delivered in 5-7 working days i ended up waiting 18 days. Horrendus customer service and none of my emails replied to. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Ordered something that arrived 3.5 weeks late instead of 2-3 days as stated on their website. Called twice to ask when it would arrive and was told any day but weeks later and it still hadn't turned up so opened a paypal dispute and ordered elsewhere. Then the boots arrived nearly a month late but now expected to pay for return postage as they refuse to pay! It's the least they can offer.. Unbelievable.

I am not usually one to complain where customer service hasn't been great, as everyone is entitled to a bad day. However, the level of service received from this company has been woeful at best.

I placed an order for some kit needed for a mountain trek and OutdoorGB took my money immediately. I made them aware of the urgency of my order yet it still took 2 weeks for them to tell me that one of the items I ordered was out of stock!! They then offered me a different size instead (which obviously I didn't want seeing as most people order a certain size for a reason!!).

They haven't confirmed whether the other item ordered is available nor have they confirmed when I will receive my refund for the item which is out of stock. They are repeatedly ignoring my very direct questions about the whereabouts of both my money and my order.

Shady company. Terrible service. SO SLOW.

I recently purchased a few items from ExtremeGb as gifts for my husband, and was pleasantly surprised how competitive on price for some things they actually are. Delivery was very quick and within two days of the order being placed.
Overall the service was excellent, but, as most customers will say, you can only judge how good a company is, when you have a problem and they are willing to try to resolve it.

After returning a pair of gaiters first class for a different size, I was emailed a few days later, informing me that they did not in fact have the one's they claimed too in stock, nor did their suppliers. I was asked if a different pair would suffice, so I proceeded to say this was okay and to just send me the replacement pair. I was then messaged a second time, explaining that I'd need to pay an extra £7.07 to cover the cost of the new pair that they were sending, as they were a little more expensive! Do not use this company, slow communication, poor service and extremely audacious to request more money from me to cover their own mistakes. With so many good companies online, do not even dream of using this place - go elsewhere and save yourself an awful shopping experience.

Could have been a very fast delivery, but because the packing list from Extreme GB did not say anything about value, my package was held up in customs for nearly two weeks.
Good service though.

Item just as described; prompt shipment to the USA - shipped 12/30/10 / received 01/18/11; clear e-mail; great product; a pleasure to deal with !

Shipment to the USA takes a little longer being the package has to clear US Customs. I received a customer service e-mail cheking on the deliver.

I returned items and here I am 3 weeks later still waiting for either an exchange or a refund. If i email, I get replies 2 days later or as of yet I’m still waiting for my most recent one. I wished I’d read the ratings before I used them. They are not worth buying from in case you need to return your items.
