Staff have always been helpful and friendly. Admin staff have also been extremely helpful both on the telephone and in the store. Excellent service all round.

The warranty system worked well and the chair is back as good as new.
Very pleased.

We contacted Park Furnishers and after a week we were told that the Manufacturer had changed its sizing policy and could not change the bed. Park Furnishers told us the Sales department would contact us to sort something out and that was 3 weeks ago and still nothing.
Park Furnishers are still taking orders for this bed, knowing it's not the right size and coupled with their lack of support and follow up is why we give them a 1 star (no zero stars available).

We still had plenty of time until Christmas so at this stage were not too concerned.
On fitting, several doors were damaged and we had been assured a quick service by the salesman if this occurred, NOT SO. The replacement doors arrived but were also damaged, plastic corner protectors actually helped the corners break off. Then we discovered the wrong microwave had been ordered, didn’t fit the opening. PF said sorry they couldn’t get another the same until February (it was now early December! but told us we could order the same on a next day from AO?! They said if we did this they would refund us. What we didn’t realise is that AO were more expensive than PF, later when we asked PF to refund the difference being they had let us down they refused saying it was our problem and not their fault?!
Multiple replacement doors were sent but each time they were damaged so Symphony the kitchen supplier sent the next on their own transport. One driver had to deliver the tall cabinet and had no help so ‘dragged’ it over the drive, fortunately no damage occurred. On the next delivery from Symphony I made their driver wait whilst I checked the door only to find that door too had been damaged (corner broken) on their own transport! The driver couldn’t believe it.
So whilst these problems were occurring I had to keep changing dates for fitters who were as accommodating as possible. Days turned into weeks until we arrived approx 10 days before Christmas. I was now very angry and very stressed with the family scheduled to spend Christmas with us. I called PF to try to move things quicker with the replacement damaged doors only to get the answer machine saying the store was closed. I thought this may have been due to some one forgetting to switch it off, so I made a couple more calls and messages but with no response. Knowing Leekes were the parent company I called their customer services. PF had closed until Boxing Day they told me. The answer machine message said nothing other than the store was closed. We had lost another 3 days. Leekes promised to help but were in fact part of the problem as they took to long until they eventually said sorry they would have resume after Christmas as there was not enough time left. We had over a week to go until Christmas but they were adamant they could do nothing.
Over the Christmas we were dealing with family illness which made everything harder to deal with.
I wrote to the CEO of Symphony to ask at least they send the replacement refrigerator door. They did and sent it with the representative on a special trip. I informed Leekes that I had managed to do what they said was impossible. The lady said she could not have done this as it was outside procedure, then (to cover her own back I assume) she wrote me an email taking the credit for the delivery!
The Symphony representative took pictures of some of the damage as he said otherwise the staff wouldn’t believe him.
By this time we had to cancel Christmas as the worktop people said they did not have enough time to make the top due to the multiple date changes due to damaged units and doors. Fortunately and thanks to ourselves we did have a working refrigerator.
I consulted Citizens Advice who guided me on how to approach the problem. Everything that Citizens Advice told me to say due to my legal rights Leekes disagreed.
Rather than take the long road of compensation via the legal route I appealed to the CEO of Leekes. Note: The Leekes CEO does not reply to any correspondence. Instead she gets others to reply and eventually we were offered £200 compensation. Due to family illness it took sometime for me to reluctantly accept. I accepted because by this time it wasn’t the money so much as getting the names PF and Leekes out of our house.
Remember up until this time our experience had been very positive with PF but reluctantly we have now bought all the remaining furniture and carpets elsewhere and win’t be returning, ever.
Don’t buy a kitchen from PF!
