I purchased an electronic automotive part from this merchant. The part was discovered to be defective upon installation. I processed a return/exchange from their website. The next day I received an email saying my return has been rejected. No reason or explanation given. The seller does not provide any phone number to contact them nor an address to send the returns back to. THEY DO NOT RESPOND TO EMAILS. I have sent them several emails asking for their phone# and address however I have received no response. Time to contact my credit card company.

In addition, the seller overcharges on shipping and is not quick to ship orders.

Avoid this seller at all costs.

I placed an order 6/23/2008. According to their policies ground shipping costs are "No more than 15% of total order or a minimum of $8.99" on my checkout they charged $10.99 and when they charged my credit card that amount increased to $13.51.

I have attempted to call them multiple times and there is never a human to answer the phone. I have left multiple voice messages and they have been ignored.

I tried to call their corporate office and they were unwilling to help me.

Please be aware that parts.com does not actually sell anything! They are more like eBay than anything else.

I would never buy anything from them again due to their own violation of their polices and the poor "customer service" that ignores your messages.

Update; I sent parts.com a link to this message and they responded back saying " I AM FORWARDING THIS TO OUR WEB MASTER. I AM ASSUMING YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE CHRYSLER BOLTS." when 1) I clearly asked them to call me back only and 2) I had only placed an order for parts for a BMW. I did finally get someone to call me back I think he was from a Ford dealer in Arizona and he was very irate saying $13.51 is what it costs them to ship (no, per fedex.com it costs $7.58 I took care to use the correct weight, package size and residential delivery)

I bought a set of front brake pads and rotors for my 2008 Tundra. I was afraid they would not be genuine O.E. but they were the real deal at almost 30% off. The shipping was a little higher that expected, but with no sales tax, that was pretty much a wash. Shipping took 5 days. Good experience. If you know exactly what you need, I would highly recommend.

I would highly recommend using parts.com, I tried to find the part I need myself but just couldn't seem to find what I needed so I sent an email which was resonded to promptly and in just a few days my part arrived!

I ordered parts for a car that was taken apart and down on Saturday afternoon. I expected the parts to arrive Tuesday or Wednesday. At 4 p.m. Wednesday night i got an email asking me which parts I wanted. I gave them part numbers and filled out everything including my vin. what a waste of time. do not use them unless you have time to waste an a rental for your customers.

Other reviews almost dissuaded me from purchasing from Parts.com, however they had my part at $100 less than anywhere else. Yes, shipping was expensive, so on a cheaper part it might not have been worth it, but for mine, definitely. The part was shipped on time, accurate, and in new condition. Fixed my problem, so I am VERY happy. I would definitely use Parts.com again!

Ordered wrong headlight for 2010 Rav 4. Returned lamp and received replacement quickly. Great customer service. Very helpful. New site is easier to find parts.

Ordered parts for my Kia at Parts.com
Received an email telling me one of the parts did not match the vin number, and gave me an alternate part number.
After acknowledging the part number change the order was shipped.
Order arrived quickly and parts were packaged nicely.
Shipping costs were exactly as stated on invoice.
Will continue using Parts.com for OEM parts.

I ordered a part on 11/27/2015 and got a email right away on my Hotmail account.Then when I emailed them for a status on the part,I get a auto reply that emails from Hotmail cannot be used because there system cannot send mail to Hotmail. I then called them,no answer and they emailed me at the Hotmail address with a link that sends you in circles. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!
No one will answer the phone.

I order apart from this website, for my 2011 Kia Sorrento when I receive the part I realized it was not the right part because it didn't have the right connections the part seem to be dirty and used was not sealed it was simply in a box. When I contacted parts.com multiple times do phone messages which were never returned emails which were never return and simply Eddison their part back and dispute the charges on my credit card. I could not recommend anyone using parts.com they're nothing but ripoffs. No customer service of any kind. If they simply would pick up the damn phone we could work this out, Their attitude is we have your money **** you. Out $427 was grossly over charge for shipping and it's just not the right part

I placed an order just before Christmas for my husbands car thats been giving us trouble for months. We did a ton of research and thought we knew the right part, unfortunately we were wrong. After realizing our mistake, we promptly called parts.com. Their customer service was really great. He got me in contact with the dealer that supplied the parts so I could organize the exchange/return. I have to admit, when hearing customer service could not do the return for me alarm bells rang. To my surprise, I was completely wrong. The dealership got back to me promptly and worked out the return in no time. It turns out the part we actually needed was cheaper than the one we purchased. Within a week I had the correct part and the money returned to my card.

This experience had the potential of so many outcomes. Lucky for us they made it easy and fast. Thanks parts.com for getting my husband back on the road in no time!

I ordered a part that can fit in an envelope and paid over $10 for the shipping on this item. It is over a week later and the item has still not been shipped, my car still leaking oil. I have messaged them three times about this and tried to call with no response. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE.

I discovered Parts.com searching for an item for my Honda Civic on google. Their price was by far the best I had found. I went to create an account and It said my email was already in use so I called them and spoke to a customer service person who was able to reset my password for me and was huge help! I placed my order and was notified that the item I was purchasing wasnt correct for my year of vehicle, which saved me a big hassle! A few days later I received the correct part. Overall GREAT experience!

Purchased a driver's door mirror for a 2011 Nissan Murano. I entered the VIN into the order form as instructed. They sent me the wrong part that didn't even work per the VIN according to my dealer here. Then, since it is electric adjustable parts.com would NOT take it back since electric parts are completely nonreturnable.

Also, their shipping rates are horrible. Ground shipping for a box 18"x16"x12" and weighing less than 4 lbs was over $62.

Buy from anyone else but these guys.

If you do buy from them make GD sure that the part you are buying is the correct part.

I had ordered a mount for my car, then got an email the next day stating that it was a few days wait for them to actually get the part. When I receive the tracking number, tracked it for a few days until it said delivered. Was never delivered at my address. Tried contacting them to resolve the issue and they do not reply whatsoever. Still trying to get my money back because part never showed up. Waste of time and money.

In all honesty I used to order from these guys all the time without any issues, but within the past few years, things like customer service have fallen through the cracks. They used to be quick to reply to questions, concerns or issues but lately it seems they just don’t give a damn. Of the half a dozen or so emails I’ve sent them for various ordered related issues, I haven’t gotten a single reply. Calling them is also useless because I’ve never ever been contacted with a live person, and just like my emails, any voice message I left fell on deaf ears. Shipping charges are grossly inflated, and processing time has gone from 2-3 days to an average of 7-10 days. Forget about getting your parts fast or cheap. You may think you’re getting a deal but once you factor the high shipping / handling charges and add on the down time while you wait for your part, it’s really not worth it. I would gladly pay more for prompt and courteous service locally than to continue to patronage this unappreciative business. I really wish someone would revamp the people behind the scenes and get things back to the way it used to be. It’s time to clean up your act parts.com!

i ordered an part from here, after two weeks they sent me an email saying the part price went up and i needed to pay the new price. then with in 2 hours because i haven't seen the email yet they canceled my order. When i called to ask about all this they didn't care or try to fix the issue. no on should ever order from here. very misleading and don't care to take care of their customers!

I needed parts for my Husqvarna tractor that were not shown in the diagrams in my manuals. I entered the model on the Parts.com website, placed the exact parts I needed in the cart and finished an order in less than 20 minutes. Shipping arrived one day earlty and all the order was complete. Fast and easy. Very reliable and impressive for a twelve year old tractor. Will order parts when needed without hesitation. Thanks.
