Beware!!!
Love the wines but now the custom and duty taxes have hit with DHL they have become too expensive and a poor company to deal with!!
Total extra charges from DHL were £96.69 which was more than 100% of the bill from Portugal Vineyards. The original invoice was for only 104.42 euros (around £93)!!! I contacted PV to see if they could help with the charges but they were not prepared to. When I requested a refund, they informed me that they would have to bring the wine back and charge me for this - plus any customs or duty costs that they would incur while importing back into Portugal would be passed to me... Therefore I was forced into paying the ridiculous custom and duty charges…🤬🤬🤬
My friends and I were regular customers but have decided to look elsewhere for our wines as PV gave us no warning that this would happen. We feel cheated by PV and warn any potential customers to be prepared to pay more than double that of your original invoice!!! 😔🙈

Wine was delivered very promptly and in perfect condition tried a bottle of white wine last night and were extremely pleased with the quality. Am looking forward to the rest. I can see we’ve found a great supply and look forward to buying more and more.

Absolutely wonderful ! Fantastic range of wines which myself and my family have started to work our way through , aiming to find our favourites . Excellent prices throughout and delivery time is exceptional I spoke so highly of Portugal Wines that my employer asked me to order some wine for them too which I have since done. He asked me just last week to order more !

I ordered 17 bottles for an amount of about 650 € with a promise of delivery within 5 days; 10 days after placing the order, following several of my emails requesting information on delivery, they replied that, for 6 bottles, the vintage ordered was not available and they offered me different vintages, of lower quality. I had to accept the exchange but will never buy from Portugal Vineyards again. Order of 23 November 2020 delivered on 10 December.

Having enjoyed their extra dry white port for many years when in Portugal i decided to order some for delivery to UK. It was delivered within 7-9 days of ordering it. How amazing is that? The service is great as is their delivery and shipment. Very professional company.

We have been getting our wines from here for a few years now, and yeah we have our favourites, but always love trying some other wines We won’t go anywhere else for our wine The new website is lovely, and they have introduced new products The prices are varied, depending on what you are looking for, but to be honest, you won’t get a better selection of wines, Ports, Brandy, anywhere All the products are carefully packed and well packaged What else can I say, is I just love them

I don't know if the wine's drinkable as they were quite open about the fact they didn't bother sending it and won't refund the money. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I have been ordering from P.Vineyards for nearly 3 yrs on a regular basis (oh how I enjoy their wines) !! I was recommended by my brother after his holiday in Portugal 4 yrs ago, & we're hooked Fantastic selection, havent found any I've not enjoyed. We have all been conditioned to recognise and enjoy the French grape and wine varieties whilst the wonderful Portuguese wines sat quietly in the background. Portugal Vineyards are a company who provide not only wonderfully tasty wines, but wines to suit all budgets - and they provide an excellent service. Take time to try the grape varieties you know nothing about, because wines from Douro are wonderful, wines from Alentejo pretty good, but the Touriga Nationale is superb. Portuguese Vineyards are an excellent company to deal with, provide excellent service and excellent wines. Highly recommended.

We have been using Portugal Vineyards for about 3 years and have had a variety of wines. All have been very good value and would have no hesitation recommending them. Delivery is also excellent.

I cannot fault Portugalvineyards on their excellent range of 5* wines - and their prices are incredible. BUT - don't rely on speedy delivery or even organised delivery. Their delivery system lets them down and their communications is terribly poor. As they take 1 to 2 months sometimes to deliver - it's even more annoying to find [sometimes] that they haven't even despatched the order after this period because a particular wine may be out of stock! Not a problem normally but NO communications. It is such a shame because I do believe that Portugalvineyards wines are world class - but lack of communications and inadequate delivery services do make them feel a little third world. I won't stop using them - but only when I don't need wine on a reliable basis :-/

I ordered last week "vinho reginoal de alentejano" named Artefacto. Ich had com to know, that these Wines are as Good as such from Douro or Dao. I am very happy with real good red wine to a very reasonable price. The dilevery to Germany with DHL was without any Problem. Nós gastamos de vinhos de portugal muito bem.

Portuguese wines can really compete with French, Italian or Spanish best wines.

Two failed deliveries to London of Ginja - the first time it wasn't their fault, the goods arrived in London and the courier lost them. The second time, I placed the order, nothing happened for 10 days and when I finally got through to them, they admitted that they had no inventory and still hadn't received any. At least they admitted their error quickly and cancelled the orders, but from a customer's perspective, they're completely dysfunctional.

We have purchased a few crates of wine from PortugalVineyards over the last two years, and been pleased every time. Would recommend to anyone.

I love shopping with Portugal Vineyards. Which is better, prices or quality? Well, I guess quality always comes first. I really rate the wines. Some are now firm favourites. But they are delivered to my door for £5 or so a bottle! Service is efficient. Never had a problem and the odd question has been dealt with quickly and politely. So, a perfect set up.

Ordered for UK delivery on Tuesday - had my goods by Thursday. Excellent service and cheaper than buying in UK (even with the postage). Thank you.

I have had 5/6 deliveries from PV I cannot recommend them enough , apart from the fantastic wines the delivery service and pricing is great give them a try you wont be disappointed
