I placed an order for a new lamp for my Infocus projector, and I was under a crucial time deadline since I needed to receive the item and use the projector on an international trip that I had already booked. Laurie Ann checked to insure that the lamp was in stock and laid out my shipping options - not to mention the price was extremely competitive. There were a lot of shady companies that came up on Pricegrabber with slightly lower prices, but none could verify in-stock status or provide such great customer service. The lamp worked great!

I bought a OEM replacement lamp for a Sony DLP TV. It was half the cost of other websites, and it took about three minutes to install. Projector Lamp Center shipped it within a couple of days--it even came with a great warranty! I'll definitely use them every time I need electronic equipment or parts!

I ordered a lamp on 6/30/2008 for a projector I own. Their site said nothing of backorder or out of stock, so I purchased. WOW DO I REGRET IT! A week later I hadn't recieved a shipping confirmation or any evidence of an order being fulfilled. But they did charge my AMEX the day of the purchase, fyi. I talked to one of their Live Chat support reps and was informed the product was backordered and out of stock. Nice of them to let me know. I then cancelled my order and received a cancellation number as proof. A month later and still no refund on my AMEX. Currently I am disputing the charge and reporting this terrible place to the BBB. I really dont understand how places like this are allowed to stay in business.

I made the purchase on 6/30 and after calling and finding out the the bulb was on "backorder" I cancelled my order and purchased from B&H instead. I was told 7-10 days for the refund. well its been almost 90 days later and NOTHING!! This is the worst scam I have ever heard of. the best part is no one will do anything about it. not the BBC, FIC, FCC, consumer affairs, no one. It may only be $312 of my money but how many thousands have they taken. I'm filing criminal theft charges in Atlanta and NYC. I will fly to ATL for court if i have to and I assure you that I will get much more than $300 as trying to put this company to its end is worth more than money.

Just ordered a Draper cinefold 15' screen. This is probably the 6th or 7th one we've purchased over the last 10-12 year. Great product and always get the best price from BigScreenCenter. Have also purchased a few smaller ones. We use them at nationwide software training classes and trade shows.

I purchased a lamp on Monday, August 13, 2007. I needed it for a meeting on Friday, so I paid the extra for 2-day shipping. It didn't get here in two days. On Friday (August 17), four days later, I called customer service and they said that the lamp was not in stock at that time, but that it was in stock on the day I ordered it (!!?), and that it would be shipped out, overnight, on Monday, August 20. Furthermore, I told him I wanted the shipping charges removed -- obviously -- which they agreed to do. On Monday, August 20, I called back, but this time I spoke to my salesman, and he was very polite and very apologetic, and told me that they would indeed be shipping it out, overnight, the next day (Tuesday), which means arrival on Wednesday, right? By Wednesday afternoon, nothing. I called their customer service back, and the guy told me it was shipping out that day, and that he's soon send me the tracking information by e-mail. By Thursday morning, August 23, still no e-mail, no confirmation. So, I called the attorney general's office, and started procedures against them. I called back to customer service, got hold of a lady there, and asked her to confirm (or not) shipment of my lamp, and I told her of my call to the attorney general's office. She politely asked me to hold on a minute while she "checked", then she let me on the line for 20 minutes!! I called back and got someone else who was, in fact, able to confirm that my order was shipped out on Wednesday by 2-day air, not overnight! He gave me a tracking number, and the lamp did in fact arrive today. (I half expected a rubber duck by this time!) It was a lamp, however, and it was the right one, and it appears to work. Now, I'm attempting to get my shipping money refunded to my credit card. We'll see how that works! Anyway, I do have the lamp --- after two weeks!

I purchased two lamp for my church two weeks ago.
I just received the one lamp. (the other lamp is still coooooooooming~~~)
They sent me the defected one, but they chaged 15% of restocking fee for return.
The lamp is easily broken and malfunctioned.
Their costomer service is the worst~!!!!
They were insulting the customer and just hang up.

Please DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE.
I AM TELLING YOU THAT YOU GONNA REGRET.
DO NOT EVEN OPEN THE ACCOUNT.
I am so serios.

My company ordered replacement lamps from these people over a month ago and recently canceled the order due to the enormous lag time and the run around we got every time we tried to call them. These guys have the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. We are still getting the run around regarding a refund for the parts that we ordered 2nd day air over a month ago. Do not do business with this shady company.

I ordered a replacement bulb on 6/11/08. I never received the bulb. I called several times over a 2 month period and every time they said the bulb was on back order. I canceled my order on 8-7-08. They told me it would take 30 days to get my refund but it only took them 2 days to charge my card. Well 30 days passed and still no refund. I called the computer and they said i needed to talk to the accounting department. Not to my surprise the accounting department was a recording said that if you need a refund leave your account #, name and a phone number and they'll get back to you. I place my initial order 06/11/08 and now it's 9/16/08. After all of my years of buying things off line this is by far the worse experience i've ever had

I called the 800 number from the web site and talked to Brooks. He took my order and said I'd have the bulb in two days. Today is a week later. The 800 number is no longer on the website. I found the number I called last week but only get a recording to use the chat on the website. The following is the chat:
info: Hello! In just a moment you will be routed to a live operator who can assist you if you have any questions.
info: You are now chatting with 'Brooks'
info: Please wait while I transfer the chat to the best suited site operator.
info: You are now chatting with 'JohnL'
John: Where is my lamp?
JohnL: Ok, I see your requested information, Please stand by
JohnL: I'm sorry this has taken so long, as it stand now the order has not shipped, the ETA you were given was the correct information, However, the ETA was extended by the maker> My vendor has advised me this will be drop shipped from the manufactures location to you. Once this ships you will receive an email with you tracking information. We will also be checking with a number of other vendors that carry this item. If they have it in stock we will get it shipped ASAP
John: No. I want a refund now.
JohnL: Ok I can get that order canceled, I must advise you of the company policy on refunds...... refunds are submitted to the customer only in the form of a check, refunds for cancellation usually take 30 business days to be processed and them mailed to the customer
John: No. I will stop the payment on the credit card or you can reverse it. Which will it be?
JohnL: unfortuatnely i can not reverse the charge sir. I can only advise you of the company policy
John: I'm in Atlanta. You're on Peachtree Rd, right?
JohnL: Yes sir our offices is in atlanta.
John: I'll come by and talk about your policy.
John: Why is your 800 phone number no longer on your website and why are you no longer answering your phones?
JohnL: To better help the customer we are no longer a call center we are now totally all web based

John: I think your company is a scam. I will be forwarding this chat to the Better Business Bureau and numerous other places to let people know about your broken promises and you so-called company policy.
JohnL: I understand sir again i apologize we could not get the product to you faster. Is there anything else i can help you with today?
John: Yes, you would be well advised to issue a credit to my credit card today. If not, I'll fax this chat to my credit card company.
JohnL: Again sorry I apologize, but i must only advise you of the company policy.
John: Why didn't you send me an email advising me of the delay in this shipment? Is that against your company policy?
JohnL: No sir that is not our company policy, Unfortunately you were not advised of the delay, that may have been a error on our part and we do apologize for that.
John: I'd like you to send me an email now stating that you have not shipped the product, you do not have the product (after you told me you had it in stock), you do not know when you'll get the product, and you do not know when I'll get the product.
JohnL: That ETA has not been relayed to use from the maker as of yet.
John: Just send me an email stating all of the above.
JohnL: Yes sir, i need you to confirm weather or not you are keeping the order.
John: You don't need to confirm anything. If you are a legitimate business, you will be decent enough to let your customer know that there is a problem with this order. An email does not cost you anything.
JohnL: Sir i"m sorry i thought i made myself clear, At one point during this chat you stated you wanted a refund and stated you would dipute the charges. I need to know that you still want to keep the order.
John: What difference does that make?
JohnL: Because of statement made earlier in this chat, i need to have it confirmed, if that is something you are now willing to do sir, i have no choose per upper management to cancel the order and let the charge back threat stand.
John: The more I hear from you, the less I like it. This is not the way a legitimate business operates. Are you going to send me an email or not?
JohnL: yes wsir i will send a email wth a status.
John: Have you sent the email yet?
JohnL: My credit be partment will be sending all of that information to you. is there anything else i can help you with Sir?
John: I won't hold my breath waiting for anything from your company. Have a nice day.

I ordered a projector lamp on May 5th. After over two months of "Unfortunately our vendor has had to push back the eta on this order", I asked for a refund. On July 11, I got a cancellation number and was told the refund will post on my account within 30 days. After 35 days, I called my credit card company to force the refund. What a hassle!!

I had to cacel my order they kept telling me it was out of stock, so i finaly gave up and a month of trying and when i canceled my order they said they filed chapter 11 bankrupty. So i have to send a letter to the court of appeals to get my money back. I actualy called the bankrupty court in GA and it does have them as filled bankrupty chapter 11. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE it is still up which i cant figure out. The website should of been taken down by now but it hasnt. Im going to file a lawsuit with my attorney.

Robbery - This store apparently just took me for $425.41. I ordered a new lamp for my SANYO PLC-XP40 projector, including an additional 6 month warrantee. After several attempts to get a shipping date confirmed the online chat person informed me today that "there had been recent changes in management" and that I should have my credit card company "reverse the charges" My credit card company cannot do this. The company will not issue a credit. My credit card company further asked me to destroy my card and apply for a new one so this company cannot perpetrate any additional fraud. The BBB has given this company an “F” rating.

I ordered a Sony rear projection bulb on 08-05-08 and my credit card was charged immediately. I also paid for 2 day air delivery. After 4 days and no bulb, I called and was told it was on back order from the supplier. I told them to cancel the order and credit my credit card. They said their policy was to cut a check thirty days later and send it to me. I called today, 09-10-08, and learned it was "in the cut" to be written. After reading the reviews, which I wished I had done before hand, I probably won't see the check for another thirty days, if that soon. I will be calling my cc company to contest the charge. If they are holding money this long and have trouble with their suppliers getting product to them, you might think the company is in trouble, inept and incompetant.

We have ordered the same OEM Hitachi projector lamps and it is a breeze to place subsequent purchases with them. We have always had great experiences with communication. Ordered a projector bulb on June 26th, 2007 with 2nd day air delivery.

Called a week later on July 3rd and was told that the bulb was out of stock, and that there was a problem with their website because it still listed the item as in stock. I was told that new bulbs were arriving on July 5th and mine would ship that day.

Called again on July 9th. Was told by another customer "service" guy that the bulbs were currently out of stock, but that they would be arriving on Thursday, July 12th and mine would ship that day.

Nothing but run around. I'm sure these guys are trained to always say, "The bulbs are coming in in just a few days.". Needless to say I cancelled my order. When I asked how long it would take for my order to be credited back to my credit card, he couldn't tell me. He had to send it up to the finance department and he didn't know after that. But he was sure it would be quick. I certainly don't trust this company - I will be watching carefully to make sure the money is actually credited back.

Pay the extra money and order from a reputable company and actually get what you need. The low prices this company lists are worthless if you can't actually get what you need.

It turned out to be very difficult to obtain a replacement bulb for my projector- this appears to be a dark secret that you don't get told when you buy a projector. I turned to projectorlampcenter.com to order two bulbs ($800 plus shipping $90, plus duties/brokerage fees of $180, for total of $1070; Canadian store might have been able to get me the bulbs for about $1500, so I thought it was worth trying this esite). In the end, the order was delivered, but it was incredibly difficult dealing with these people- they are either incredibly disorganized and inept, or unable/unwilling to be honest about what is happening with an order. Your credit card gets charged within minutes of the order, but the order then falls into a black hole. It took me about 15 very long (one live chat was over an hour and a half- if you use live chat,which I suggest you do, because they will tell you anything by phone and you won't have a record, I recommend noting the times on every chat submission, which you can print out to have a record)and painful chats in order to get the order. Every rep had a different story and excuse, and I got many different stories from the same reps! I thought I had been taken and was about to kiss my money goodbye, when the bulbs showed up. I was even more surprised that the bulbs work. Not sure what the answer is, but you should know that this is a very difficult company to work with- customer reps all seem nice and say the right things, but you will get many stories that will frustrate you.

Placed an order on June 24, 2008 and was told the lamp was currently unavailable (after they had already charged my credit card). I cancelled order on Jul 16 and have been trying since then to get my refund. (Today's date 12/8/08.) They have been very good at ignoring phone calls and e-mails. Interestingly, I placed the same order with buy.com and had the merchandise in 3 days.
