I got a gift voucher for my 50th, but decided to upgrade for a signature facial. Wow! My beauty therapist was Tai.hla Lovely young lass. I went to Chermside P.I., the parking was awful but my beautiful, signature facial was so worth it. Thank You -Pure Indulgence-Chermside.

My mother-in-law thoughtfully purchased me a $95 gift card for a facial and a half hour massage at Pure Indulgence. When I used it, I called the clinic at North Lakes in Qld and asked if I could change it to the 60 minute massage with an added back exfoliation which they said would be fine, it would just be $15 extra.

When I arrived for my appointment I was asked to fill out a comprehensive 2 page form which took about 10 minutes to complete. After that it was another 3 minutes before they came to get me and another couple of minutes to get undressed and get on the table. Apparently all of this time was part of the 60 minute massage because I only got 45 minutes of massage, then the back exfoliation which took just 10 minutes. I was fully dressed back out the front exactly 1 hour from when I arrived! It should have been 60 minutes of actual massage, then 15 minutes for the back exfoliation, so a total of 75 minutes in total, NOT 55 minutes.
In addition, she asked me if I had any areas in particular which I wanted her to work on and I said yes my neck which was very stiff and then she proceeded to hardly touch my neck? The entire time I had trouble breathing because they had a thick towel stuffed around the face hole of the massage bed and it was really hard to get air.

When I went to pay, she charged me $20 extra instead of $15 but I was too over it to say anything so I just paid it and left. All in all I thought it was a mediocre massage at best and I felt I was cheated on time and money. Would I ever go back? No, definitely not. They are overpriced, unprofessional and inexperienced if you ask me.

I had been given a voucher by a friend as a present so decided to go in for a treatment. Let me tell you there was nothing professional about the woman at the front of the store!!!! First off I think your employees should not have facial piercings! When I think of a beautician the last thing I want to see if being greeted by someone with a horrible looking lip piercing!! She should maybe join a tattoo place. And on that I was standing there for a good few minutes until she acknowledged me, all she could do was stand there in front of the mirror and complain about her eyebrows???! Then when she finally acknowledged me she talked down to me like she was so much better than me! How rude! I didn't not catch her name but she had an Irish accent and this took place at the carindale store! I will be warning everyone to stay away from this unprofessional place!!! For a grown looking woman she behaved like a bratty snooty teenager

I booked a manicure and pedicure 2 weeks before I arrived at the Indooroopilly store and was very disappointed with both the service and the end result. I was quoted a price on booking and then told on arrival that if I wanted shellac it would be an extra cost, even thought this is what I requested when the booking was made. The beautician was friendly enough but she wasn't very good at her job. My shellac only lasted 10 days and then started peeling off. The nail polish on my toes did not cover the entire nail and as a result I have had to return to the Asian run stores where they do a far better job for half the price. The staff at the store gave bad reviews of their competitors and told me that my experience with them would be luxurious. It was not. I asked the beautician what the appliance on the shelf beside me was and she said it was for heating the towels. She would be using the heated towels during my pedicure. She must have forgotten and I was so over the sub standard work that I couldn't be bothered asking for it. I will never go back and will not recommend this company to any of my friends.

On a recent visit to Toowoomba store, my 12 year old daughter and I were subjected to the big sell on products following a leg wax! Really, can you not let a child just have a simple treatment without the hassle.

I’m very disappointed, my daughter bought me a Mum’s Delight voucher for Mother’s Day. I rang Garden City Salon and asked for an appointment, the lady asked me what do I want to get done and I told her, I have a voucher to get the Mother’s Delight, as soon as I told her about the voucher they suddenly had no appointments for the next few days. Because I wasn’t paying them money I got treated like scum!!! Disgusting!!

I booked into pure indulgence grand central Toowoomba for a 1 hour massage with hot stone back therapy. I was very tight and sore from recent stress and advised the therapist during the massage that she was hurting me with her too hard massage I even cried out in pain at one point and made it clear she was hurting me; despite this and the fact my hands were clenched the therapist contained to knead on my pressure points too hard it was the worst massage ever. I was in so much pain afterwards I will never go back. Also I was booked in for 1 hour massage but even though I completed a form got ready had the massage and then got dressed all in under an hour there is no way the massage was near the hour long massage I had paid for.

Went for a much needed facial and massage after a very stressful year and the therapist was more concerned in trying to sell her products to me right throughout the whole treatment. I could not relax and felt added stress by being hounded, I will never return to pure indulgence again. This was my turn to relax and it done my head in.

I have been a regular customer of pure indulgence over the past 3 years, spending hundreds of dollars every month. I have been used to visiting the downstairs shop in garden city and happy with the treatments and service. Since that shop closed, they have moved their business to the upper level shop and it is there I was let down and treated poorly. I was quoted a series of treatments would cost xxxamount of dollars as a "special". When I went to pay the staff member at the desk (I did not get her name but she spoke with a Northern Irish accent) told me I was wrong and that the quote I was given was incorrect. I said that it was disappointing because the reason I picked the first treatment of the "special" was with the understanding that it would be part one of a special deal costing xxxamount of money and included xxxamount of treatments, the first one being free of charge. The staff member at the desk was quite unapologetic and unsympathetic and in a slightly louder voice repeated exactly what she said the first time (completely unhelpful). I was so peed off for the fact I spend so much money at that business and for this one staff member to show such little concern with an unapologetic smirk on her unfriendly face that I had to decline their 2nd offer and quote and I had to pay full price for a treatment I don't normally get and suffer the annoyance of being treated so badly, considering the loyalty I've given the business and the money I spend there that I will be now looking to go elsewhere where my custom is welcomed. I've tried to contact management about this but they're seemingly not contactable (that I can tell). Pure Indulgence, Garden city upper level, you've lost out the business of a good customer. You'd do better if management made themselves available for feedback, otherwise you'll lose more customers.

I used to get my eyebrows done at a salon in ascot and swear I wouldn't go anywhere else, I was referred by a friend to see a therapist at the Garden City salon and now I truly know the meaning of perfection ! Her treatment standard is flawless and defiantly the 5 week wait for her appointments as she only sees clients fridays. Defiantly reccons this salon to all my friends and family

i bought a product from a store, I wasn't sure if it was the one I usually used. I got home and realised it wasn't, I spoke to a friend who gave me a new facial cream to try. I took the product I bought back to another store the next day with the he receipt and the product was still sealed and she refused point blank to return it, as this was policy. Seriously it was in a resale able condition so there was no reason for the staff to stand on a soap box and refuse a return. I will not shop there again and I will be sharing my experience with plenty of people as I work around Queensland in my role.

I received a voucher for Pure Indulgence Grand Central and was excited to have some pampering done, The voucher was well gift boxed and gave a awesome first impression of the brand. I was shopping at Grand Central on morning and thought i would pop in to book my appointment. I am fussy with my pedicures especially when i saw what the price would be if I didn't have a voucher so i asked to have someone who was particularly good at them. I was then book in for the next week which i was very happy with.
It then came to next week when I had booked I arrived and was greeted by the 4 ladies all standing at the front counter one of them asked me to take a seat and gave me a form to fill out as i had not been to the salon before. The form was quiet daunting as to how much detail it went into i almost felt like i was signing my life away and that they have had many customers having "allergy" problems before. I feel that being consulted by a staff member before a particular treatment would be a lot more effective as i was only having a pedicure.
Then my beautician for the day came out to greet me and said you do realize that if you want shellac for you appointment today it will take an extra 10 minutes i didn't want it and let her know that.
She then proceeded to a beautiful treatment room which unfortunately had a wardrobe to put my things in which seemed to be making the room hard to move in and in a bad position.
The pedicure was done while i was in a lying down position which was ok but i found i go a sore back from sitting in this propped up position for an hour. The treatment was done differently to the 2 legs which i found made them feel strange, for example the massage was done differently to my 2 legs. I felt like my feet and legs got a good wash and not overly great massage. The buffing was done to only the flat bottom of my heels not the curing part that goes to my heals so not giving an all over smooth feeling. The worst part was the lady wore gloves that were too big for her hands making it feel like she had freezer bags on her hands while doing the treatment. The treatment ended in hot towel treatment leaving my legs dry so i asked for moisturizer. The time was just on an hour she then said she will leave me to get my things and see me at the counter. WELL i have never not been helped with my shoes on after a pedicure so YES i ended up bumping my toe nails and needed to retouch them myself at home. A different lady helped me at the counter she asked how the treatment was and i said it was OK to which she then said my beautician specialized in facials and went on with that which i had to stop her as i didn't want to return to the salon and the fact i requested someone who was awesome at Pedicures not facials. Very disappointed as i do go to the beautician once a month and i would have considered going there if i was happy but i wasn't
Their salon and pretty vouchers

This year I spent close to $1000 on products that didn't help at all at garden city pure indulgence. The products that came in a package used for facial and needling to reduce my blemishes were not effective. The staff said they had treated successfully on other clients, but when I asked for evidence, they couldn't produce any. One of the staff had steam blowing on my face to open the pores that I felt suffocated. She just turned on the machine and walked away . Never again would I use their service. To me their products are fake. I still have another treatment which I have paid but decided not to go there any more

I go to pure indulgence in Northcote every week, it is the nicest setup of any massage place I've been to. I've been to 6 places. My favourite masseuses are Sky and, Alice. I always ask for a firm massage and they always manage to vary from hard to medium during the massage so I remain sane
