Latest claim, RAA changed my battery and destroyed the roc which cost over 2kand refuse to fix it!?

Chloe Berry the customer rep for RAA is outstanding. She made my day by takin g care of my issue in organising a loan car she took that extra step and ensured the car hire place called me back. Chloe was so understanding only if more people were that professional. Great experience

The people in the office (Modbury) were really helpful and made it so easy taking away alot of the stress i had expected. The people on the phone were a bit rude and abrupt but the office staff more than made up for it.
The only advice i can give is to scan in to your computer all your reciepts fortunately we had done that with most items and the rest RAA replaced from JB HIFI with similar/same items even posting them all out to us, which was great being right on top of Christmas.
All up the process took no longer than 3 weeks from theft to pay out and replacement, have been with RAA for many years now and cant think of a reason to change.

However if you claim for loss of personal items which was partbof my claim, please make sure you have 'Proof of Ownership'.
I lost a highly collectable vintage surfboard but its only word of mouth without sufficient proof, of ownership.
Happy to now have another car, but painful lesson learned.

My most recent callout, I had two staff members who were absolutely brilliant. Super friendly, great attitudes despite being called out in high winds/rain and from 6pm-7:30pm. More than impressed, have really gotten my money’s worth of service.

I bought a new car in the meantime and it came with roadside assistance included. When I asked if I could get a refund for the remainder of the unused RAA policy, I was flatly denied. I don't need two roadside service subscriptions and it seems only fair that if you don't need their services, they should give you a refund. Not this lot! Their reply:"It's stated in our service manual, page 22 "You may cancel your Road Service at any time by providing either verbal or written notification to RAA, provided your identity can be positively verified. Cancellation of Road Service cannot be backdated and Road Service fees are not refundable." How do they get away with this crap and why isn't the government clamping down on this unfair practice?
