We use the Baoefeng to communicate during hunting and the high mount guides in the Alps too, their power has nothing to do with other brands which are limited to 0.5w. I will not talk about the price which is more than competitive, when the customer service is perfect (Nicole). In short if you want a correct product both in terms of quality and price, go ahead, buy from Radioddity you will not regret it.

I purchased a Xiegu G90 HF transceiver from Radioddity in March 2020. Great rig, especially the receiver section and ATU. Recently, the radio developed an issue I couldn't resolve myself. I contacted customer service and quickly received a reply from Vevina. After one more attempt at troubleshooting I requested a replacement radio. Vevina walked me through that process and within a couple of days the original radio has been shipped back to Radioddity, at no cost to me, and a new G90 is on the way. I buy a lot of products on-line and this was the best customer service experience I have ever had. Vevina is a star and if you are looking to buy radio related gear, I highly recommend Radioddity.

I have recently received my new GD-73A from Radioddity. What a small, pocket-size, but attractive DMR radio! I installed the driver, CPS software and then made a simple plug of just few entries to start with. GD-73A performed well in no time, and I got a positive rapport from a Serbian DMR network user. I particularly appreciated GD-73A's USB charging feature, so I can charge the battery from my laptop when in travel or so. Nice! Vevina from Customer Support was very assistive when I needed help with driver installation.

I purchased the radio from Amazon, but wanted additional accessories. When I contacted customer service, the always reply promptly in one day. Radio is amazing! Works much better than anticipated for the money.

I am a big fan of DMR and I bought a GD-77 for the second time (sold the first one) mainly because of Roger Clark's OPENGD77 firmware which adds a lot of features and makes programming the code plug much easier. Radioddity seems to have great product support and even followed up with me to make sure the radio arrived safely and worked out of the box.

I have bought two Xiegu radios from Radioddity. The first was an X5105. The second was a G90. Both arrived with three days of ordering. Radioddity provided me with up-to-date tracking information for both shipments.
I encountered problems in the process of trying to update the firmware on the X5105. When I told the folks at Radioddity about my difficulties, they immediately prepared an RMA and return label. In the end I was able to fix the problem and now have a first-rate field radio. I deeply appreciated Vevina's quick response and help.
The G90 was another story, but the results were the same. I discovered a defect in the radio when I first unpacked it. I continued to use the radio to give it a thorough run-through before deciding to return it. Vevina at Radioddity was immediate in her response and I waited for the Xiegu crew to get back to me. In the meantime I took the initiative to try and fix the problem myself. In that I was successful. When I informed Radioddity of my success, we both agreed that, once again, I had a keeper radio.
In all my communications with Vevina and the Radioddity crew, I have always been treated with respect and kindness. They have kept me informed of updates & changes and have passed my suggestions on to the Xiegu crew.
While I am not quite sanguine about Xiegu's quality control, I am very, very happy with the service & help that I have received from the Radioddity crew. I will certainly continue to consider them for any further radio purchases.

Picked up a GD-55 Plus from the Radioddity eBay store in September and it arrived early October. It took me a bit to get some time to work with but finally got to it a in Mid-October. Working with the program to enter the data, the unit bricked after a couple of "writes". Checked the internet for possible solutions and tried a few things myself. No luck. So I sent a note to the US Customer Support email and got an immediate reply from David Little. We exchanged emails for a day and I tried the actions recommended. David hung in there until we ran thru all the things we could think of. At that point, he sent a note to support at headquarters (2nd level).

Received a reply from Vevina, and we looked over previous actions and tried a few other things. Still not luck. Looks like the unit either died or was bricked. Vevina then had a new unit drop shipped to me via DHL and I received it a few days ago. The actions that make this stick out for me from other support request was (1) Support hung in there which is how it should happen and (2) without me asking, they drop shipped a new radio. This is what makes a great Customer Service. I am still learning about the radio so I cannot comment on it other than the fact that it works now and I can talk to people on DMR. Thanks to Both David and Vevina for all the great help. Great Customer Service from a small company.

Has a problem with two radios, after discussing it with David and tried a number of suggestions it was determined they needed to be replaced. I suggested a credit given to me for another radio and the next day the credit invoice was made and the radio order was placed. Than you David and Vevia.

The GD-73A works ufb on the Radio Amateur Band (430 - 440 MHz).
The shipment lasts about 4 weeks.
Unfortunately, the second battery from the Easter Special Offer 2020 has
still not arrived. I hope it will come soon.

I have purchased numerous items from Radioddity, thru the website and Amazon, and each time the customer service has been excellent. Vevina has been very responsive and helpful and addressed all my concerns. I would not hesitate to buy again. The products are very competitively priced and have worked great.

I purchased a Radioddity GD-77 DMR ham radio from Amazon in May of 2018. I put the radio aside due to other priorities and when I finally opened the box, guess what? I had managed to get one with a QC issue. So after almost 18 months later, I reached out to the dealer and Vevina in Support arranged a quick replacement unit that is up to date. I will be buying direct from Radioddity when I upgrade my HF radios in the near future. Avoid Amazon and buy direct, the prices are better!

I order my GD-77 on Thursday, 12/12/19 with free shipping. When I received the acknowledgment that said 15 to 25 days. We are snow birds and will be back at our Florida home by then. So I email Radioddity to change my shipping address to my Florida address on Thursday night. Friday morning I received an email that stated since I was a new customer they would ship it Express Shipping for free, 3 to 5 days. To my surprise I received a DHL email stating that the shipment had been made on Saturday (Sunday China time) and I would receive it on Tuesday 12/17/19. I was again surprised when it actually showed up on my door step in Ohio on Monday 12/16/19 at about 3 PM. This was amazing shipping from China to Ohio. I am a very satisfied customer!

Bought equipment from them about a year ago and just recently had a problem. I spoke with Vevina, got my issue resolved very quickly, very helpful. I was really surprised how quickly they responded to me. I will continue to be a Radioddity customer thanks to their great products as well as service.
