I booked an item for same delivery within Melbourne. The item was picked up and not delivered. After days of emailing and getting no response - I contacted consumer affairs. They in turn contacted Real Time Express Couriers - the item was then delivered 5 days later and in pieces. And now I have to take them VCAT - the worst experience, waste of time and money. STAY AWAY.

After using this company for 2 years, I recently sent 13 parcels all correctly labelled and numbered.. only 9 parcels arrived to the receiver; after 2 weeks they have done nothing to find the other parcels; do not respond to emails, and have not contacted me to arrange the insurance I paid them to pay for the missing 4 boxes . . . [name removed] seems to be employed by both Realtime Express and Hunter Express? The fact that they don't list the insurance payment amount on the invoice is DODGY in itself . . . Do not use either of these companies as they are both incompetent.

I've used this company to deliver at least five times, from small to bulky - from electronic to fragile porcelain ornaments - the company has delivered the items diligently with minimal incidences (one item had to be re-delivered because the recipient wasn't home - I highly recommend pre-purchasing the re-delivery option for like $1.25 or something low)
I've read a lot of negative reviews and I feel for you, but I've only had positive results with this simple and cost effective company.

Requested a quote online last night for same day delivery via airfreight for the following day between Melbourne and Sydney as they have no direct dial number or hours of trade on their website. Got a reply at close to 11am. Can not do. With that level of urgency in even replying to an enquiry why am I not surprised.

After reading some of these reviews i was very worried but it's difficult to find a courier to do 2.3m long tubes australia wide at a good price and i decided to give Realtime a go two years ago. Since then i use them for all my interstate deliveries at least 2 times a week and had no problem whatsoever. I don't usually write reviews but felt the guys are treated a bit unfair with some reviews on here.

Send an item to my sister from Melbourne to Perth.
Realtime Express lost it and subsequently ignored all follow up requests and emails.

I now get messages that they have blocked my email. WOW! I didn't know Australia had businesses this bad.

Avoid this steaming turd at all costs and pray you never get sent anything via these guys.

I booked a courier pick up on 11 March and two weeks later it still has not been collected. I have emailed every day and been told “we’ve contacted the depot”. So eventually I get the phone number of the depot and call them direct. It’s being collected today I am told every day for a week. Today, Friday, I phone 4 times and on the third time they contact the driver while I’m on the phone and confirm he’s on his way. 30 mins later, I phone again, sorry the driver has gone home. The incompetence is breathtaking. I’m now away for 2 weeks and am unable to follow up or get the package to the recipient. I will never use them again.

I was sent a package from WA to NSW. It took 12 days for a 2.5kg package and then they claimed to have delivered it to my address where 3 people were present at the time and made up some fictitious name as someone who signed for it. I had to harass them for two days to finally get an admission that the package hadn't been delivered. They don't respond to email unless you hound them. You can draw your own conclusions about their integrity. Don't use their services.

I purchased some boat parts from Victoria and the seller advised that he would send the items via his regular freight company. I received an email from the supplier advising that he had sent the parts via Realtimeexpress and provided me a tracking number. The following day I looked up the tracking information and saw that the items had apparently left Victoria, and it was expected to arrive in 3 to 5 days. On day 6, I thought I would see where the freight was, but there was no update. I thought I'd give them a call, but there was ZERO ways to contact them other than email and this concerned me. I emailed Realtime about the ETA, but was told that 3 to 5 days is an estimate only. The item eventually arrived at a Perth freight companies yard on day 12!!! The freight i was waiting for was worth a little under $5,000 so you can see why I was concerned. Next time I will nominate the freight company I normally use as the extra cost is worth the piece of mind!!! I will never use Realtime Express again.

I've received two consignments through by Realtimeexpress in the last four months. Both were heavy (total 255kg), fragile (glass louvres) and involved multiple packages. In both instances the delivery occurred on time and the couriers were very careful with my packages. There was no damage to any product or the cardboard it was packaged in. I'd have no reservations about using this firm in the future.

I had to give this review 1 star, but I would really like to give it 0.

The worse service ever. I should have read reviews before I went ahead with them.

I selected the express delivery service. Upon checkout it said "OVERNIGHT" delivery from Sydney to Melbourne. Then it asks me if I wish to select priority pick up to ensure it gets here on time, so I paid extra. It's been a whole week and still no parcel. Yesterday I emailed them and asked where my parcel was. It took them a whole day to come back to me and tell me they just discovered that the parcel was sitting in the sydney depot and there's a delay on it. Upon asking for a refund of only the priority cost - which i think is fair (I'm not asking for the whole refund), they tell me they can't do it because I was JUST notified of a delay.

WHAT A JOKE. Don't waste your money. Pay a legitimate courier service extra if you have to, but do not go with this company. Avoid all Hunter Group couriers. They pose as different companies online and compete against each other with the exact disgraceful service.

Thanks Realtime Express for teaching me the difference between good and bad customer service.

sent a parcel on Jan 2 from Melbourne to Burnie, so we could have stock for our pop up store, today is jan 15 and still no delivery, I contact them, and the answer is constant, we are waiting for information from the onforwarder. i ask for the onforwarders number, and no response, I ask for a supervisor to contact me, no response. I give them my phone number and no one calls. Haven't tackled the insurance issues yet, but don't expect that their arrogant attitude will pay out......the good thing is I have been paying through the nose for their lack of service for the past 4 years, this incident has given me cause to find someone else.

I am going to try again to call HUNTER EXPRESS to see if they can help, but not holding my breath

I used their service 3 times. But they didn't keep their promise for 2 times. I booked overnight express, but they didn't deliver my parcel in the next day! When I was trying to contact them, I found they didn't provide any contact number! So you couldn't make a complaint!!!

I've had the same issue, I've sent them numerous e-mails, they respond 24 hours later with no solution. I booked for a parcel to be collected from Sydney and to be delivered to Melbourne I even paid extra to be picked up at a specific time. Obviously they never turned up. There's no phone number that you can contact to speak to a person. It's so frustrating gggrrrr .

I use this courier because I can book online at night and they don't charge a fortune. I buy credits and get a further discount. They have stuffed me around in the past but this week is the living end.

I booked a single box to go overnight to Sydney for a client that, unfortunately, has been stuffed around by couriers in the past. Ironically, this same courier.

I booked and paid first thing in the morning, as I always do and trust that they had plenty of time to arrange my pickup. At 1:36pm I get this:

Please be advised that your consignment cannot be collected today due to no available vehicles in your area. We do apologise for the inconvenience and please be assured that your freight will be collected tomorrow.

That's OK, trucks break down, things happen. Tomorrow will be still good.

Next day the parcel is still sitting here at 2pm so I respond to the previous days' email "My parcel is still sitting here from yesterday. Can you confirm it is being picked up today please. ". I hear nothing and the parcel is still sitting here well after closing.

You can't call anyone, no one responds to emails. It's a farce. Meantime they take money for a service they don't supply. I'll probably not get a credit on this parcel but I've booked it with Couriers Please. More expensive but at least people answer their phones when you ring.

this is the worst courier service ever much like any service provided by hunter pty ltd . they have different faces online e.g. e go couriers, hunter couriers and real time express couriers. rude late no customer service all though they are cheap ur product will either be damaged really late delivered or not show up avoid any hunter company at all costs.

I was supposed to receive a package on 2/12, they sent me an email to confirm and then refused to fix their incorrect spelling of my street name until I tracked down some number from the person I bought from, then they changed the address but told him (the seller) to tell me that they now would not be delivering till 3/12 or 4/12. Did not show up AGAIN, ignored my repeated requests for an ETA until late Friday (4/12) when they sent another email saying it would be another 2 business days. Absolutely disgusting, and I have every intention of reporting them to the ACCC.

After waiting two weeks for a package I received a call from the original company I purchased it from saying they this courier had tried to deliver it but no one was home. This was strange considering there is someone here 24/7. Anyway I then contacted the courier whose customer service was breathtaklngly incompetent. Long story short I get an email saying it’s been allocated for delivery and is still in the depot 1000km away so apparently no one did try to deliver it after all. When it finally turned up after a month the driver almost backed into our car and then ran over 500 dollars worth of power tools on the way out and then got angry when I yelled at him to stop.

We have found that this business does not have SSL (secure sockets layer), which means that you should think twice before trusting this business with your data, such as personal information or credit card details, because your information will not be digitally connected to a cryptographic key and secure connection cannot be established. We discovered that the domain for this business is relitevely new, which means that it could be a start-up business that does not yet have a huge amount of customers.
