Schlechter geht es kaum
Meine Erfahrung mit REVIEWS.io ist sehr schlecht. Auf der Bewertungsseite vorgaukeln sie, dass es einfach ist und nach der vermeintlichen Absendung der Bewertung ein Bestätigungsmail versprechen. So was kam, trotz wiederholte Versuche, nie an. Wenn ich mich schließlich direkt auf den Anbieter gewandt hatte, bekam ich als Antwort, dass ich auf den Verifizierungsmail reagieren muss. Anscheinend haben sie mein Mail gar nicht gelesen. Trotzdem versuchte ich es noch mal und bat sie um ein paar Antworten und Erklärungen. Darauf teilen sie mir folgendes mit:

"Gerne sende ich Ihnen eine E-Mail-Einladung. Dazu müssen Sie nur den Namen des Unternehmens angeben, das Sie überprüfen möchten, sowie einen Screenshot Ihres Belegs oder Ihrer Rechnung, der beweist, dass Sie ein Kunde sind, einschließlich Ihres E-Mail und Bestell-ID, unter der Sie den Kauf getätigt haben, und wir könnten Ihnen dann eine E-Mail-Einladung ? senden"

Fast ein Scherz. Einige Bewertungen hier stammen nämlich von Personen, die nie Kunden waren (in derer Bewertung haben sie offen zugegeben, nur an einer Testphase teilgenommen zu haben). Diese konnten deshalb, die von mir überraschend verlangten Unterlagen, nicht vorweisen. Ich schickte diese trotzdem an REVIEWS.io, wie verlangt.
Seit diesem Augenblick herrscht Stille und es kam weder eine Antwort, noch ein Verifizierungsmail. Geschweige eine Einladung.

Es scheint, als dieses Bewertungsportal mehr Schein als Sein ist. Die Seite gaukelt und verspricht unwahre Tatsachen vor. Die Bewertungen werden wahrscheinlich je nach Laune angenommen oder ignoriert. Möglicherweise werden nur Kundendaten gesammelt. Ob ein Muster oder Absicht dahinter steckt, ist schwer zu sagen. Auf jeden Fall scheint dieses Portal nicht wirklich seriöse zu sein. Es gibt sicher viele andere, wo man derartige Mängel und Verwirrung nicht hat.

Mein Eindruck und Fazit: nicht zu Empfehlen !!!!

Amateur and lacking robust enough systems to ensure genuine reviews. Enable unverified reviews by simply asking for the reviewer to enter an "order number" which can be anything at all (eg 123456) and then they accept the review as genuine. They also allow multiple reviews from same person, which is very poor considering that those people wishing to cause damage to a company's reputation are the most likely to leave such reviews. When we enquired about how we could respond to reviews, we were told we'd need to sign up and pay monthly fees. No thanks.

I like the option to talk to someone that I would usually have never met or taken the time to get to know. It makes sense to network with people in these times. Usually, you can find an interesting topic with everyone.

I had my Blind Lunch Meeting with Romain from Berlin. He is a very nice and analytical person, whom I had an interesting talk about the internationalization process of e-commerce businesses. It helped me to think a bit deeper about how we are operating at the moment. If we are planning to head into the french market in the future. Then Romain could help us with setting up a roadmap for that market because this is his speciality. I am sure he will be very successful with his new consulting business and I am glad that we connected.

Alice was a great help and provided me with two good documents that we can use in the future :)

Have been using Reviews for the last year and really happy with how it integrates with our website as well as pulls through the review ratings into Google listings and shopping. Easy to use dash board and at a sensible price as well.
