Had trouble finding boots that were comfortable and had to change them a couple of times. Staff were always super friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Really appreciated! We hired 5 sets of gear, all was in great condition! Would recommend!

It was convenient to pick up our equipment as they we very quick and efficient in getting us set up and also provided free transportation back to our hotel. On the day we were leaving we merely checked in our equipment at the hotel where we were staying. Trouble free.

Experienced really great service and the best rental equipment, with the premium package. The crew is very professional and passionate about making sure you have great gear and you are making the most out of your time on the mountain. Will come back for sure!

Always a pleasure getting gear from you guys! Super Friendly staff who are always happy to accommodate any last minute requests or changes. Highly recommend the Premium rentals which allow you to change gear according to weather conditions. Coffee is good and of course there's Marlo the Frenchie to welcome customers!

Whenever we go to Niseko for skiing, even in Hakuba, we always go back to Rhythm. They always equipped with all variety of gear you need and flexible in the renting package to fit change during your ski period.

Had a great experience with multiple boards. Pickup and changes were easy. Boards were waxed which was especially nice. Now if Rhythm could've made it snow a little (a lot, actually) more it would have been perfect.

No one really to help, guide or assist upon arrival. Had to ask different staff multiple times about where to get fit etc. Guy that fit me was helpful enough though. After fitting, me and my friend were offered a lift to the gondola and told to wait 5 minutes (was raining and horrible outside). This turned into a 25 minute wait and we had to ask multiple times where the driver was. Eventually one of the shop staff gave us a lift. All in all not the best experience, particularly as we’d paid for the premium package and expected a little more. Not sure I’ll use Rhythm again when visiting Niseko or Hakuba.

Very good company they were very helpful getting me the right sized equipment and even got me a bit of a refund when I got injured and had to return my gear 3 days into a 6 day rental. Great attitudes there, the shop is very close to the base of Niseko Annupuri and very convenient. I will get my gear there again next time I go back.

Rhythm went above and beyond to help us by picking us up from the train station and taking us to their shop directly to fit our ski’s ready for the next morning. The staff were super friendly and helpful in getting the right gear and driving us to our chalet. After a long day of travelling it was great to be looked after. I rented snowboard for the first time and I got boots 2 size bigger than my feet. I didn't know it was too big until I had a terrible first day of snowboarding as I couldn't control my boots and my board. After the first day, I went to change the boots and got the right size so I could snowboard for the second day. I was not happy for the service on the first time as I wasted my full day of first snowboarding. Hope the staffs be more careful of choosing the gear for amatuer as they spend 10 more mins it will mean a lot to the first timer the whole day of experience.

This is the second occasion that I have hired skis & poles from Hakuba Rhythm and given the conditions on the mountain they performed exceptionally well. I’d recommend the store to anyone that wants a fantastic ski experience.

My first trip to Niseko and first time skiing ever, it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I would like to thank the team at Rhythm for all their assistance with my XL boot and ski requirements. The team, especially Darren were amazingly helpful, replaying to all the emails prior to arriving, ensuing our gear was suitable, making changes and adjustments when required. The team were so nice, when running into them in the slopes they were always up for a chat and imparting the local knowledge and asking how the gear was going. thank you Darren and the rest of the team. We wouldn’t rent anywhere else. See you next year! Cheers Brad

While I have booked my skis with Rhythm for over 15 years I was disapointed this time....U had on lined booked for 7 days...but snaow was not there so picked up skis 2 days later....@ 2.30pm on Sunday 16th...only to be told I had to pay for the Sunday because it was before 3.00pm...I said "Really!!! Its not as if Im going up to do night skiing on the ICE!!!" She was quit adimate about it...so I left it at that....Well it seam 15 years of loyallity doesnt add up to much....disapointerd...

My daughter and my son hired the same size pants, jacket, boots and boats yet you charged me and extra 13000JPY because my daughter is 16. That is ridiculous and totally unwarranted. Left a sour taste in my mouth on Day 1. Went and spent 50000JPY in Burton and Gravity because I didn’t want to spend any more in your shop. On the positive side, the guy that served us was efficient and excellent to deal with. Unfortunately it wasn’t up to him about your illogical policy on rental charges depending on age!

have been renting at rhythm for 3 yrs now every time we come to niseko. The cashier/customer service at main hirafu store can be more friendlier and nicer. most of the time lines are long and lining up to pay takes a long time, one time i have a concern and there is no one to entertain the complain they told me to go to the counter and the counter people are busy so i was waiting for for 45 mins standing waiting for someone to assist. not a good service if u ask me

First, when we arrived we couldn't size up our kit and had to wait a couple of hours to then come back when the shop was packed. On returning our kit, because we were a couple of hours late, we incurred another whole day. After spending so much for the four of us, these actions were trite. The quality of the skis we hired were not especially great with clear repair marks. Not conducive to a top/premium package. We will be looking at other options for our ski hire next year.

We were a family of 6 people, and the team @ Rhythm Japan treated us all very well. Premuim ski recommendation was spot on, for the snow conditions, and gear fitted well. We would return and use them again.

Awesome rental experience, provided top of the line skis for my 7 days skiing in Niseko. Will likely buy a pair of the same skis in the offseason. Seamless return process as well. Cheers!

I recently hired skis and boots for more daughter from the new Rythym store in Hirafu and was very impressed with the service provided. I was travelling with a big group and the pick up and drop off service provided was very helpful. I would definitely rent from Rythym again

Best selection, best service and convenient that you allow us till 10am the next morning after a full day's boarding. It's very inconvenient to return the gear the same night. I really appreciate the "10am the next morning" deadline. I will always rent from Rhythm. ❤️
