Ross North Homes

Jodie and i are very happy with our journey with the Ross North group.
From the very start dealing with the consultants to dealing with the trades and the site supervisor we were very pleased with everyone's positive attitude and eagerness to deliver what we wanted and most importantly what we paid for. We hear so many bad stories from others with other builders, but not in our case. We are very happy we chose Ross North.
We did a great deal of research and put a lot of effort into our house design, with that in mind we had no hidden surprises and cost was spot on, no complaints.
We have a little bit to finish off around the house however we have attached a photo to show how well the house came up.
Thanks to all the Ross North people....would we use you again...Absolutely.

We found building for the first time a little stressful but Ross North, and everyone we worked with there, were absolutely fantastic. The most difficult thing we found was making all the decisions required to design and finish our home, but Ross North were incredibly supportive through the process. They all new when to allow us time and space to think things through, and when to guide us in what was almost always the right direction to go. Having such a range of professionals available to us was just what we needed to smooth our path. We have had a number of challenges in getting this project done, but Ross North did not add to them, they solved them for us. Clearly they are not the cheapest builder in the market, but the old addage applies, you get what you pay for, and we are very happy with what we have got. Thank you Ross north

Excellent build with great support from an experienced site manager Ivan and his team. All tradies were professional and respectful of our home as we were living in the front house whilst building at the rear as have 2 small children.
All construction aspects were done to a high standard and Ivan listened to Any concerns we had and addressed them quickly and professionally ally. Even after handover of the house the site manager was quick to inspect any further issues we had found and rectify them quickly ( one bathroom had cracked laminate on the cupboard and he arranged for it to be completely replaced straight away). This ensures that we had a completed home to a very high standard and were impressed with the results.

It was simply amazing experience from Ross North Group who guided us from beginning till end and as a first home buyer this was our expectations. Lucky to get Bradley as our sales rep who was so trustful, honest with everything and full of patience even though we asked and visited so many times with so many question. Thanks for fullfill our dream.

I was recommended by my brother who had built with Ross North in the past, he had put in good words convincing me to go with Ross North. I did and I would say that I have a pleasant experience building with Ross North!

My house was completed last month (ahead of the timeline!) and though I have not moved in yet, everything looks good and I am impressed with the details and the quality of the build.

I would specifically mention Jessika from Sales, for her patience and determination in doing her best to assist regarding the land, house designs and paperwork. She really went above and beyond to ensure that we are well taken care of in Ross North.

The team in Ross North, right from the start till the handover stage, provided great support, very professional and friendly, making my experience building my first home a great one and honestly less stressful especially that I was away almost the entire time during the construction. Transparency regarding the cost is something that I really appreciate with Ross North, and any issues came up were immediately addressed and attended to professionally.

We lived in a Ross North built home for over 23 years and picked them again to build our new home. This was the first home we built from scratch, so were very unaware of the building process, and we were put at ease by the Ross North team as they assisted us through the journey.

The process went very smoothly for us and the build was completed by the date we had requested just before an overseas holiday and to the agreed budget. Many thanks to Dan (sales/design), Cheryl, Laura and Katie in the office, the patient Sacha for the pre-starts and helping with the many decisions involved, Ian our site supervisor and Gail who listened patiently and followed up our many queries promptly. We love our new high quality home that meets our needs, we moved in two weeks ago and look forward to enjoying many happy years in it. Thanks to the whole team at Ross North, well done. The coffee machine present at handover was a pleasant surprise.

We had a fantastic experience from the start to the end with building with Ross North, the salesman Adam at the display homes helped us so much in changing plans and giving us excellent ideas, nothing was ever too small or too big for him to help with, this made us feel so comfortable and made our decision to build with Ross north, but the excellent customer service didn’t stop there it went right to the very end even after we got our keys for our beautiful home

First of all Mac is amazing and i will always recommend him to anyone that wants to build. To keep it nice and short the experience with Ross North was very good from the beginning almost to the end. The part that i was disappointed at was with the site manager, the lack of communication. At the inspection we had a list of things that needed to be fixed up which they said that they have 10 days to fix. It took him 15 days to fix up and if i wasnt calling him and checking up i believe it would of taken longer.

At the end i must say i would build with them again because they did a great job. That said i would be checking up on the site supervisor a bit more often because i believe he could of finished the job 1 and a half months earlier.

We had one more great experience dealing with entire Ross North team right from Sales until Handover stage. The satisfaction keeps increasing and the comfort and transparency they have during each stage is a standout. There were several challenging phases during the build but the Ross north team provided great support and understanding. Right from Mac, Ian, Cheryl, Laura, Gail, Katie, Jane everyone has been great and very friendly. Thanks once again and I have no problem Recommending Ross North to my friends and family.

What a superstar our salesman Bradley is! He worked patiently with us, no pressure at all and helped us design our home.
Sasha is a saviour - her colour consultancy expertise saved us from making some rookie mistakes in colour selection.
Ivan our site manager oversaw our build and handed over a well finished home, on budget.

Ross North built our first home 10 years ago and have just finished building our second home. Chosing them again is a testiment to how good the experience was and the second time 'round was no different.

Our consultant really went the extra mile (read: so many revisions) to get our design just right and never once made us feel like we were asking too much.

Pre-start went smoothly, no issues with us choosing custom finishes and fixtures, plus the colour and electrical consults were a welcomed and seriously helpful addition to the process!

We stopped by our block (probably way too many times) during the build and were always impressed by the workmanship of all the trades, as well as how friendly and professional everyone was too.

Our main point of contact during the build (Gail) was amazing, she kept us updated at every step of the build and was always happy to answer, or find answers to any questions we had.

No build will ever be without it's stresses, but we highly recommend Ross North and wouldn't hesitate to build with them again!

Comfortable and positive process with Ross North.The building process went smoothly from the beginning with Mac & Rach in sales , Sacha at pre start and Ian our supervisor.They all made the process run smoothly.A special thanks to Gail who answered our never ending emails.

After speaking to three other builders we found Ross North to be very obliging, friendly, professional and patient. We had our own design to be built onto an existing home. Brayden always delivered what he promised when he promised, and we were very impressed with his service. Carol made the design and pre-start a fun experience and was always accommodating to any price checks and design changes. Gail and our Building Supervisor John nursed us through the building process. Overall we are very happy with our build

After review several design review, we signed our feasibility agreement with Ross North on the 22nd of November 2017. At the time, the completion date was estimated to be within 12 months. [name removed] did a really good job in the first stages in explaining all the processes.
All this leading to the color selection and pre-start meeting in April 2018. Then the overall experience change. The color selection was only a selection of the color, very little support in selecting the color.
Then came the prestart meeting! We arrived and were told that the house had to be relocated because of a neighbor retaining wall. As such, the new design should be resubmitted for planning approval and we would not sign the contract on the day.
This was not the best news, but after discussion we were told the construction process will be fast tracked and the date should still be ok for December 2018. As the change required further retaining wall, the price jumped by AUD 10,000 but RossNorth took the price for the extra-engineering. This was a good gesture.
The preselection day was not the best experience either. The advices were limited, the kitchen and bathroom cabinet design possibilities were very limited. For example, we asked for a sink over the bench in the bathroom. We paid for the upgraded sink and mixer tap and moving into the house, the mixer tap was too short and the water was spilling out.... So we change the mixer ourself... more after...
Finally, in May 2018, we signed the contract, got a new permit and I met our construction manager on site. First discussion, he is not aware this should be fast tracked and doubt it can be finished on time… So I called [name removed] to discussed about this again. But it looks still feasible.
Then, the construction process continues from July to November. No real concern on the build quality, pretty happy about that. On day, I noticed that one heave beam has been removed. I mentioned it to the construction manager and was told it will be rectified. The week passed and the ceiling is getting installed. I was traveling so I ask my wife to enquire about this. The construction manager told her, this was not really structural and did not guarantee it would be fixed. So, again, I called [name removed] to make this happen and it was solved.
From November, it was pretty clear we would not move into the house anytime soon. We tried to have a date of completion, but no real date in writing, just vague estimate. I am not speaking about the stress to organize our accommodation to follow a fluid planning.
Moving to 25 January, we still don’t have any date for the practical completion inspection. I asked many time to our construction manager…but no reply. So I called [name removed], to beg for a date for us to organize our move. Finally, we get a date for the 13th of February to do the inspection, organize the final payment and get the key.
Finally, we meet with the construction manager for the inspection. We notes a page of items to rectify among them, one flashing on the roof… I had to take a ladder to go there, but worth it!
Then we get the keys, few items get solved... but not the roof and in the meantime we noticed the door frames painting is not the best. So, because we have the keys but still have not moved, my wife open the door for the painter and ask me to: “have a look at all the door frame”. This is 3 days before moving into the house. On the evening, I came to check the work…most of the door frame were still the same and the roof was still not fixed…. So, I called [name removed] for think to move. The day after, the construction manager call me to explain the problem on the door frame were just shadows. But finally he meets my wife on site with the painter. From my wife, the construction manager was the most condescending possible. So she spent an hour, to review door frame by door frame with both of them to tell them were to repaint… they admitted this need to be redone. But, this is the day before moving into the house!!
So this is moving day, 8 of March i.e. 3 weeks from the practical inspection… finally, somebody show up to repair the roof and an hour after… the construction manager show up, stay in his car for 1 hour… come with a ladder to have a look… say hi, ask if everything is ok. I show him an issue with the tape for the dishwasher I raised before. He proposed to send a plumber…On that point, I just said, it is ok… this should have been done before.
So, this is the experience we had… Difficult to conclude on our experience. We are happy with the house but the effort, the delay and amount of begging required was not what we expected. I would have given the house quality 5 stars

Although circumstances didn't have us select Ross North homes, we can honestly say Rob Parker exceeded our expectations with his knowledge and willingness to go above and beyond in all aspects. He is very knowledgeable, very honest and friendly Nothing at all ever seemed a problem. He was available whenever we needed him 24/7 to answer all our questions and would highly recommend him to anyone who is choosing to build with Ross North Homes. As we move down the track of building we now realize how good he is. An absolute champion.

I am happy the way Ross North built my house start to finished. Withing our budget we couldn't ask for a better job and I would recommend to anyone who would like to build new house

From the moment we met the salesman (Bradley) at the display village, we were amazed at Ross North's level of detail. Everyone else we dealt with along the process, right up to handover was just so attentive to our needs and our naivety was never treated as a bother. The final build was exemparally and we are loving our new house! The supervisor (Ivan) was very supportive and addressed our concerns with customer service at heart! We will not be looking elsewhere for our second build

We had an excellent property manager and any time we had a query, everyone at Ross North was prompt to respond and be at the house. Customer service was fantastic from the offices was also prompt to respond.
The range of options for construction was also excellent. We are very glad we built with them and we love our home.

From the sales team (Mac Mackenzie), prestart , admin, construction manager and the building supervisor the whole process was very professional and ran like clock work once the approvals were in place. We rate the product and procedure so much.......... we're doing it again in Palmyra!
