Safestore Notting Hill
This storage company in my view should be prevented from operating in this area as they are completely unfit for purpose. Recently they had been flooded and not for the first time! This caused many many thousands of pound of damage most of which was due to their lack of management in dealing with the situation and adding insult to injury to their long suffering customers. They informed customers of the flood days after the event, under insured many customers for their belonging showing zero duty of care and with a none existent "Im alright Jack" mentality customer care. Many many people have lost an enormous amount of their valuable belongings to which the response of the company is contemptible. I would strong recommend to whoever has been effected to take out direct legal action against this despicable company. And anyone looking to use their service to look elsewhere. This has been terrible experience with a company who can only be described as cowboys

Ordered working builder gloves. They sent me completly different ones which been advertised. Ive called.them explained wgat had happened and they lady said they do not accept returns and refunds however on their website this not appear. Next day i called again spoke to a different person she acdepted the return and i asked about the postage to be refunded she said they will refund the purchase and the postage ammount. I did get the price of the gloves back but i never got the amount for the postage which was over 10pounds as it was 30pairs of gloves. So large parcell. I did complain again about it she asked a pictured of the postage receipt which ive sent to them but never heard anything since. Useless company.

From the first contact by phone 5the service was very good and assistants very proactive. They accommodated us with the right storage place of the right size. Easy to access 24/7 which was emcees helpful with packing and home move. Thank you.

I recently spoke to safestore regarding my account as I had fallen behind with payments due to the loss of my small business following the coronavirus outbreak..

they were very understanding and explained when late charges will be applied and clarified things for me.

Despite sending my contract via email they decided to padlock my unit 1 day after rental despite receiving payment at point of rental.

Poor customer service, how about picking up the telephone instead of placing a lock on a door.

Staff very helpful, however the 1 electric gate at the front is out of order, and has been for a week or more, it is open by a couple of foot wide, so people can walk in and out anytime, I have been loading on an evening, it's dark and there has been a couple of strange people hanging about, so to me it's not safe. I do hope it's repaired very soon.

I went there, informing I need a storage for a week. The guy ( i think he’s the manager) said it’s fine but I have to pay for a whole month ahead. Then woman next to him said that he needs to put my notice right away. When I arrived week after, other guy told me the notice was never put. I saw the same woman and I told her, that she was there and she should remember. ( She did, she was very nice that’s why there’s is one extra star for her. ) The guy called the other guy who served me but he said the refund can’t be made. That’s it no explanation. That made me very angry but the woman told to call regional manager. So apperently he agreed for a refund but I still haven’t got my money. This place is a scam , avoid it if u can.

Hi , I started moving the contents of my home into a store room on the 3rd floor, Monday 16th at the Westbourne store Bournmouth.
Went back on Tuesday 17th only to be told that all three lifts have been condemned !I was just going into cardiac arrest!!!! When your manager (Kevin) was very assertive and allowed us to use a ground floor room .
So you guys get 10 out of 10.

Total rip off agreed a price then it all changed so as it stands I have a full house packed up and no storage sorted out well done safe store You don’t even deserve the 1star I’ll be sure to go on too trust pilot and rate the service

Needed storage at the last minute, very easy, happy to know contents are secure and keeping dry, mistakenly booked/reserved online 2 units ( 1 ground floor, and 1 1st floor, but both the same size ), only downside was that, when signing for the unit, was given ground floor which was slightly more expensive and not given the choice of the 1st floor unit, which was a little cheaper, felt that was unprofessional and that every penny in my pocket is better than in someone else's pocket, was not told how much cheaper but it could be £2 a week or more !!! it all adds up and I felt that I should of been told this before signing ... had I know upstairs was cheaper, I would've opted for that one ... I know next time ......feel a little cheated here .. but the good news is, Its not long term..... and if you are going to rent a unit, but yourself your own padlock from wickes for £4, otherwise you'll pay £12 from safestore !

I found the staff helpful extremely friendly I got a bit lost first time I used the facility due to its size, not a criticism, easy parking and easy unloading

When I originally called and spoke to Levi from the Wimbledon branch I explained that I needed to store items for 6 months and my budget was £130 . The costings at 1st was through the roof and after back and forth when said he has a small space for the £130 for the six months. When I come in over the weekend, the guys there was really good etc.... Run through process and explained after 2 months my costs will be £250 which is crazy and I can't afford! When I called and spoke to Levi he said it must be an mistake and will look into this. To make a long story short I said I'm not happy and will move out after the 2 months.

Ideally I would like to stay but he can't now not remember me asking!

I advised I wanted a larger unit 200sq ft, and I had received a price from access store Harrow, I was told that you don’t price match and I am better of moving to there, I got that unit instead cheaper than yours but had to pay for 2 vans and wasted 2 days in moving my business. Complete waste of time moving my business into your facility as you couldn’t do what you say and the staff were not interested to help at all

Spot on From quote to check out, a service I used for approx 7 weeks, with zero problems. The team are very helpful and easy to get in touch with . The venue is state of the art. The Safety measures they took were very reassuring.

I rented a storage with 16 sq foot and when I arrived with my personal things to store I found that the storage was only about 9.50 sq foot.

The assistant was lovely but we went the other day and the shutters wouldn’t open so stood 10 minutes in the rain with our trollies then the lift was broken so had to carry stuf upstairs
