Do not respond to emails, don't answer their phone, my previous order was incomplete and stupid enough I made a further order and currently a day late with my delivery and I have someone due today to fit the wall panelling. Still waiting on my missing item from previous order as well. I've tried calling, emailing since yesterday and have heard nothing. Very poor service and certainly will not be buying anymore from this company.

Please do not order from this company worst customer service, never attended the calls made to them then delivery almost 3 days late from promising date messed all my planned work !!

For quality hardwood flooring.... go elsewhere.

On initial inspection of the maple flooring I ordered, everything looked great so myself and a joiner I know commensed glueing and laying the flooring throughout the whole downstairs of my house.

Halfway through flooring, we noticed that the lines had started to run off and some gaps in the flooring would simply not close even with clamping.

What we discovered at this time was that the individual planks of flooring were different widths, this meant our plank line down the house was not only running off but was becoming wonky with significant gaps between the varying widths of planks.

On contacting SFD I was told that by laying the flooring I had accepted this quality and all they would do was replace the planks with the problems, obviously this was completely unfeasible as over half the flooring was already glued and wonky.

Absolutely no offer of any kind of reimbursement even though their own terms and conditions state
"We cannot accept any refund on any products that are not still in the original packaging and will not refund a floor after it has been fitted or opened, unless a product fault can be proven."

I sent them several images proving the product fault and was still only offered replacement boards 🙈.

I am now having to proceed with small claims court to recover some of the money.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

floor was quite cheap but looks really good and with a six year guarantee you cant go wrong.
delivery was excellent next day, being a Saturday was a bit pricey. Will definitely use again and will recommend to all my friends and family.

The staff were always as helpful as possible and one lady, Denise I think her name was, was very attentive and I did appreciate her help when I needed to exchange the 1st batch of flooring for Kronontex white mega tiles which look superb in my friend's kitchen. Would buy again from you but such a pity a small amount could not be collected by estate car from the shop or warehouse as the transport costs were really expensive.

Everything was easy quick and I was more than happy with the flooring it was fabulous just one thing first delivery man was a bit unhelpful

Service was first class would definitely buy again and saved nearly £100 from not buying from a local big flooring company here in NI exact same floor approx £10 cheaper per box could not fault anything about this service. Class guys keep up the good work

The web site only allowed packs of 10
We took 2 days off work and it never arrived I had a delivery date that was before the day I ordered
It obviously went to the wrong address we was then asked for a further delivery date and time
We opted for the afternoon it was delivered Monday
You took all of my money on the day of order
But it took 3 weeks
The skirting still sits in my hall as the Joiner has now secured other work and it going to be another 2 weeks till he's available
Never mind I should of opted to a
Shop local and collect
The Receptionists was very polite and understanding but I still have no skirting fixed

I ordered flooring for next day delivery which was Friday. It did not arrive and no one had a tracking number or contact for me to obtain any information. I had to ask the tradesman laying the floor if he could do it on Monday at an extra charge. It did not arrive until Monday afternoon without any notification. When it was opened there was damage to a number of planks as if it had been dropped. Luckily we had enough to work around it. Altogether an experience which I would not like to repeat and would not recommend to anyone else.

Excellent service , product arrived within two days and very competivley priced.

Dont always believe what you read..........Cannot thank the guys enough, Top bloke, Chris arranged the lot for me while i was on holiday, FItter was happy with the flooring and it was all done for us getting home.

Now used this company 3 times. Brilliant service, fast efficient delivery. Can’t fault them at all

Ordered and paid online and thicked the date to be delivered 3 days later. Took a day of from work and drove 3 hrs to our new home to meet the delivery man and put the flooring inside the house as it's locked. Waited for 5 hrs and phoned the supplier. I was then told it wouldn't get delivered for at least 1 week. Not good enough! !!!!!!

I order around 30 packs of 7mm White Oak Kronotex. They said curb-side delivery, but the delivery fella was pleasant enough to bring the pallet into the front yard

After such a long hussle given to me by a Landlord in terms of wooden flooring, finally I managed to get their permission, I am delighted with the look and feel of it now. During this process Chris and Dony showed understanding. What an excellent customer service! So rare nowdays. It looks perfect, almost impossible to see the difference between this laminate and real wood even by the people who deal with the real wood all the time. Easy to clean, very good colour, doesnt show a breadcrumbs or the dust or the foot marks. Very strong apparently according to the floor fitter. I am really one very happy customer. Arrived a day after the email they sent said the flooring would arrive meaning i was at work, rather than wating for him the day before when the delivery driver called to tell me the pallet would not go down the path to my yard and he is not allowed to take the four packs of the pallet. Calling costomer services I was told I would have to pay the postage of £29.99 again to get it redelivered. Several calls later and never getting oportunity to talk to manager the call center lady finally said they would re deliver for free as they had sent the email in error. A few days later the lorry pulls up and the driver takes all the floor packs of the pallet and placed outside my door.

The flooring itself is very good for the price, i would recommend the company, just stick by your guns when/if they mess up the delivery like i did.

I’m About to buy 2 more floors now. I dealt with the company when it had shop & wasn’t sure online. Staff were brilliant from phone staff to Delivery drivers . Brilliant service ????

We ordered 100sqm of a solid oak flooring which was due to arrive on the Monday there was no communication around delivery so I called to see what was happening . I was told that it would be delivered on the Tuesday and this was down to the courier! So Tuesday morning arrives a lorry pulls up and gets out 22 packs ( we ordered 63) of the wrong wood with someone else's name and address on it so delivery was refused I called Sale Flooring who arranged to get some to us from a local branch the floor arrived in the afternoon and was packed in the boxes upside down and the bottom looked like oak so that was fine then when the joiner arrived he began to lay it and I did think it was slightly lighter than I expected but put it down to it being wood and it varying in colour ! The following morning ( we are now on Wednesday ) another lorry pulls in and unloads 42 packs of the wood we should have had so the wood the joiner had started laying was again the wrong wood ! So that had to be ripped up another call to sale flooring to find out what was going on ! They apologised again and said that a collection and delivery would take place on the Thursday so Thursday arrived and another lorry pulls up be he only has a collection note to collect the wrong wood that was delivered by this point I'm nearly having a nervous breakdown so my husband had to call we were told we would be called back and that never happened and when we tried to call no one answered ! So Friday another lorry and our wood is finally delivered 5 days after it was meant to be ! So free wood itself is fine the money I saved on the wood well I ended up not saving as I had to pay my joiner extra to lay and rip up the incorrect flooring it's delayed my renovation by 5 days rooms that should have been finished aren't I was told I'd get a refund of delivery costs it never happened so all in all from a service point of view I would not recommend but from a product point the product is as described

Next day deliver and Excellent customer service, I have to send back 2 extra packets of wood floor. Really impressed with the after sale customer service.
