Original Skeg didn't lock in properly causing loss - and replacement cost is a bit high (OEM) and shipping time is a bit long as well. Original paddle sank - and the OEM paddle is over the top $. :-(

Have contemplated this purchase for 6 months or more, was time to purchase, experience was quick and accurate. Would like to have before 4th of July if possible. We are set to do our initial launching tomorrow will send pictures of the fish we catch. Can't wait.

I did a fair amount of research before shopping this website. Shopping was easy to navigate and I found a sale price that sealed the deal. Too bad the back order will take so long. I hope it will be worth the wait.

I'm a previous customer. SeaEagle has always been the best products and Customer service has always been fantastic. When I had an issue with a previous product in the past, they promptly shipped out replacements under warranty.

The website was easy to navigate; made my decision and had it on order in less that 10 minutes. My order arrived a couple days earlier than was shown. Very happy with the kayak, definitely made with the fisherman in mind.

instructions lacked information. Had to call about floor board nuts not fitting hole for mounting seat. Was told I had to file the in order for the nut to fit flush. Also rod holder mounting. Direction were not clear, a photo showing correct facing position would really help.

Haven't put it in the water yet, but is straightforward to set up and look forward to fishing out of it. Not quite as stable for standing as I'd hoped, but the raised seat will probably work and I may get used to standing with practice in the boat.

Impressively fast shipping! Buying this 285fpb online was a cakewalk and I love almost everything about the boat. As a trolling motor -powered fly fishing platform is is top notch, super stable and very maneuverable. I had it out today for a 12 hour river float; I was turning in circles doing figure eights trying to get a musky to bite, I didn't even think about it, the boat just doesn't wobble, and my balance is marginal on a good day. I had a 55 lb thrust Minn Kota on it, with the handle extended I could perform minor boat position adjustments without even sitting down. The oars are a little wonky; that is the price you pay for portability. They are fine, they do the job, but you won't win any races. I found that the rod holders will easily hold a big long handled boat net at the ready. Regarding the wind: yes the boat will turn in a moderate breeze but it's nowhere near as bad as my 14 ft canoe. I purchased the skegs but don't think I will install them; I'd rather have the lower draft/extra clearance over rocks. I also skipped attaching the stripping apron; the pontoons make a fine bucket, I didn't even get fouled on the oars much. Next time I might try the battery in front of the raised seat and see how that changes the weight distribution. It was fine! But I'm curious. It is a very well thought out craft and I'm thrilled to own one.

Tried to select “purchase”on a Carry bag for our Sea Eagle 360 but would not allow and only said in back order, Is the only reason for 4 stars . Otherwise very happy with our kayaks and have had them for over 7 years.

Found what I was looking for quick and easy, they had a large selection to choose from. Only thing I was hesitant about was when it came to ordering because of the shipping fees even when ordering one small item. But as long as you order a few things it's about the same price.

I received my PF-7 pro model Nov 12 th. I finally had time to unpack it a week ago. It's easy to assemble as the video states & of gd quality. Now, the downfall I've found is that the floorboard does not lock in place as you'd think once it's fully inflated & seems to be about 6" too short from front to back. Furthermore, the seat stability is questionable as it has No place to secure too. The hooking method used to carry it on your back should have been implemented inside the boats floor to secure the seat from moving when you're rowing. I doubt Sea eagle wld be willing to research my idea, implement it or compensate me for it. BUT hey, maybe they will.
