This was a departure from the fluorescent light you typically see in a residence so I did call Shine to confirm the electrical characteristics before I ordered. The rep was very helpful and pleasant. The light I ordered is a more contemporary look to and fit right into the same space and ceiling tiles you see in 90% of the offices and residential basements. Mine was perfect because I has area in the basement that was quite dark. The LED lighting solved that. If you have no dark areas and you just want a more contemporary look you should consider the dimmer feature which is an add-on. Between the dimmer a light maybe a little pricey for residential use.

Great product and competitive price. Delivery time is long and at one point product ETD Was changed and pushed out 3 months. Fortunately the original delivery target was met. Overall satisfied with the product but shipping and delivery is confusing.

ShineRetrofits has exactly what I am always looking for. If you are looking for lights that need to be compatible with certain switches or just want something specific this is the only place you need to go. Fast shipping and excellent customer service.

I previously ordered the 2x4 recessed mount version to give my basement/lower level a more finished look from an interior design perspective. It really looks nice. I wanted to repeat that theme through the entire basement but in the one area where I have surface mount 1x4's I thought I could use the CR14 surface mounting kit. I should have looked closer to the dimensions of the mounting kit, its much too clunky to be aesthetically pleasing. I will jave to use this light and kit in my shed and look for a more elegant interior solution.

order tracking shows it will be delivered tomorrow but tomorrow never comes and when you try to contact them all you get is a remote answering service like this is a scam website
beware the price might be good but the service is terrible and you might not get your product

We bought (1) Howard Lighting FSB80432ASEMV 32W 32 Watt FSB8 Series T8 4 Lamp 8 Ft. Fluorescent Strip and (2) Howard Lighting F32T8/850/HL/ECO/IC 32 Watt T8 Fluorescent Linear Fluorescent Lamp High Lumen 5000K. We are very satisfied with the speed of delivery and the product is great. They even called later to make sure we were satisfied with our order. Great customer service.

Waiting on a return credit for 3 weeks and keep getting the run around and excuses. Would not recommend purchasing anything from this company.

I ordered 2 LED light fixture from this company and after a week of not receiving them or any information that I'd even get them, I cancelled and told them I would refuse delivery if they sent them to me. The very next day they Fed Expressed them to me and I was not home to receive the order.
I have received numerous spoofing and scam calls to the number I gave them and every time I call their company to resolve this situation, the "receptionist" takes a message. An RMA was generated and then mysteriously is gone the next day. Luckily I document and screenshot everything.
I have a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and am disputing the charge with my credit card company.
These people are the worst............
