When I rented a unit both last year and this year, the staff were pleasant to work with and were very helpful. The contract process was explained well, and the direct debit system is quite convenient. I was satisfied with the storage facilities; the climate was well-controlled and there were no issues with my things.

i went to rent a box in shurgard gare de l’ouest; the welcome was fine, the service was fine, point to reconsider is the possibility to use the elevator - code didn’t work, put more cars to carry stuff - there are not a lot and not in a good shape, need some more cleaning in general, for the rest all fine so in total 3/5 coz of the two remarks. kr

I closed a long-term contract for one storage space by the email, and opened another also remotely. I then needed to go there (on Saturday) to sign some papers but I had to visit the new storage space anyhow. Speedy and friendly. Over 10 years, no hiccups or problems with Shurgard. Reinforced boxes are long-lasting!

Je suis déçu car sur le site il est marqué le premier mois à 1 euros et quand on arrive sur place on apprend qu'on doit payer 1 mois de location. C est pas normal !

le démarrage de mon contrat ce lundi ne s'est pas fait dans les meilleures conditions car suite à une panne d'ascenseur, je n'ai pas pu accéder à mon box au 1er étage.
Un arrangement a été trouvé pour que je puisse entreposer de manière temporaire mes affaires dans un box du rez. Avertie le lendemain, mardi, que l'ascenseur était réparé, je me suis présentée en soirée pour faire le transfert de box et j'ai trouvé porte close car mon code d'accès a été changé sans que je n'ai été avertie.
2 déconvenues de suite. Pas de chance; j'espère que la suite sera mieux.

I was helped correctly by the Shurgard staff at the start but unfortunately I got promised a 1.5m2 unit and got a 1.3m2 unit. I only noticed it when I measured the unit to put a bulky component. Knowing there are true 1.5m2 units in the building I feel like being lied to as I’m paying the same. I have to be honest - staff wasn’t comprehensive and finding excuses to the surface differences. Issue still pending.

no trolley this saturday at 3PM.
Only 3 customers on site.
I’ve been looking for the site manager who told me that they are 7 trolley for all the site.
So i looked around but not a single trolley free.

IN my opinion Shurgard self - storage's service is an excellent one ...But the diminitions of the box is not satisfied or I can say it is not the same as the diminitions of the container in longeur ,largeur, hauteur....

-pas de chariot
-ascenseur en panne
-grande porte coulissante bloque
- code d'acces ne marche pas
-toilette ferme a cle
-samedi apres 17h personne repond au telephone
-pas de numero d'urgence nul part en cas de probleme
-societe de surveillance n'intervient pas (explication fin de contrat)
-bouton de l'alarme d'incendie actionne au moment de desesperation ne fonctionne pas
-Fin d'histoire mon démenagement a tourner en cauchmar, facture de societe de demenagement 250% plus grand que devis (son obliger de tout faire par escallier)

Merci beaucoup Shurgard service impecable, une fois dans la vie ses plus que asser

cela fait 2 dimanche d'affiler le 24 fevrier et le 3mars que je vais chez Shurgard 1 fois avec ma remorque pleine et 1 fois avec 2 grosse camionnette a Zaventem, 2 fois que je me retrouve devant une grille en panne panne de courant.... impossible de joindre quelqu'un. j'ai du re louer une camionnette a mes propre frais pour redéménager le lendemain!!!
