I had contacted Vance Haugen looking for a very quick turn around time for racking for our Tennessee Plant. I needed to have the racking ordered and delivered in just over a week. Vance was very responsive and I received the quote in a matter of minutes and we were able to place the order. In fact, SJF was able to have the racking available for shipping a full 3 days ahead of the promise date.
The racking arrived and was inspected by our receiving department and no damage was noted, and the racking was delivered complete.
Many thanks to Vance and SJF for an excellent job, and we will be back when we have more material handling needs.

After 2 visits each,delays and no results with 2 local nut/bolt suppliiers; we were able to get plenty of accurate information, advice and pricing to make our shelving decision. With Kendal Kalamaha's help we stepped ahead our shelving plans and doubled our order and fixed another problem area.T pricing from SJF was also a suprise as our last new shelving purchase was in 2000 and was higher priced than this purchase. past small additions have been a assortment of used shelving taking more time and effort which we do not intend to do in the future. I will be recomending SJF and Kendal to several of my customers that have recently built new shops.
As a business owner today we are asked to write reviews by practically everyone we purchase from. I am the 2nd generation with my father still involved and my son entering and for 42 years we have treated our customers as we would like to be treated and repeat business and word of mouth has been the best advertisemnt. I will only respond to requests for feedback if I feel the effort by the person or product was worthy. I received excellent service from Eric Moen. My only complaint is that my order wasn't packaged very well by the shipping department.

I talked to Jason Deiter about a quote to install some pushback racking in Colorado. His knowledge and quick response was much better than I received from three other companies. The bid was also competitive.

We ordered about $4.5k worth of racking in the middle of February 2013. Only some of it has arrived, and despite numerous phone calls to the company, we still have no resolution as of the end of April 2013. What we have received is useless without the outstanding items. Be very aware. Whilst mistakes do happen, this company has not yet proved that it can provide a timely resolution.

Excellent Service, my sales representative Kendal was very helpful and gave me 4 quotations on various used equipment. Our company ended up purchasing used span track at a highly discounted rate and Kendal went out of his way to even have a sample piece sent our direction.

Wish they could process a small order faster than 2 days, but that's my only complaint. Considering their size and the depth of their inventory I guess it's understandable. My order was well packaged and ready when they said it would be. They cheerfully helped load it into my truck and I was on my way.

I will definitely use them again if I have a need.

Marty was very helpful in placing my order, he even packaged our 2 warehouses separately.

When I needed to double our production line due to increased demand just two weeks before our busy holiday season, I contacted a few companies to see if they could make this happen. The only company that could handle the challenge and understood the importance and what a deadline really means was SJF Material Handling.

Kalamaha follows up quickly, never leaves you hanging and understands that a deadline doesn't mean a company can be two weeks late.
I wholeheartedly recommend Kendal Kalamaha and SJF Material Handling for any material handling projects large or small. They stand behind their products, they keep their word when deadlines are critical, and they are a pleasure to work with.

I placed my original order on November 6th and was pleased with the quick response from everyone at SJF. However, when the product did not arrive, I called at the beginning of January to inquire about the order, and there was no record of it. I requested to re-enter the order and was told it would be taken care of. Once again, I called a week later, to only be told AGAIN that the order was not placed. They had no followup or even tracking between salesmen. I will not be ordering from this company again.
