Solar Quotes have an amazing amount of good information on their site. Its a must go to when entering the Solar minefield. The details shown allowed us to make a more intelligent decision as to products and suppliers. We had already chosen one of two suppliers recommended by Solarquotes and were pleased that they endorsed that company.

Great service! We only had 2 installers in our area that fit SolarQuotes' standard, so we had 2 quotes. I'd prefer that than have a dodgy supplier/installer thrown in just to make up the numbers! Both businesses were quick to respond and neither were pushy.

SolarQuotes offer an exceptional service for those who know very little about solar. The information is broken down, in laymans terms and not buried in jargon. I would recommend SolarQuotes as a starting point to anyone thinking about installing solar.

Had two responses from the three recommended installers. It was very difficult to choose between the two quotes received. Both were excellent providing lots of detail in their replies and similar pricing. Had to select one though, and we are more than happy with the chosen installer. Our system is 6.3KW using Enphase microinverters and 18 x LG panels. It should be easy to upgrade to include batteries in the future if desired. The system has been running for two weeks now. Energy Australia will be coming tomorrow to do the meter change and complete the process. Happy with the entire process. It has been very smooth and painless. One of the interesting points is that it is very easy to identify power use through the day using the Enphase Enlighten app and to identify equipment that is high consumption. This allows for timing of pool pumps, dishwashers etc to make best use of the energy production cycle throughout the day. Thanks SolarQuotes for assisting us on our decision

Great site to learn the 101 of Solar! Finn's video was particularly illuminating. It gave me the confidence to investigate solar installation. When I requested the quotes (three), they were all received. Solar quotes also followed up that that had happened. And I was able to ask some supplementary questions, to that I could quiz my potential tradespeople some more. A great IDEA for a service for us neophytes... backed up by SERVICE.

Indespensible aid if you want to buy solar panels and know nothing about them. It will give you the confidence to speak to installers without the fear of being ripped off or (worse) feeling like a dummie.

Solar quotes was very helpful and 2 companies replied promptly . One company sent someone in person and the other did everything over the phone, which I found difficult to understand and too much to grasp in a phone call.

It is very reassuring to know that the businesses who are giving me quotes are reliable. It is also great to be able to read info on the SolarQuotes website so that I can understand the quotes! I requested for 2 quotes and SolarQuotes had responded very quickly with 2 installers. The first installer was very good and very promptly provided me with a quote, so I can understand why they had such good reviews. The second installer took about a week to get back to me saying I probably needed more solar panels and didn't even give me a quote for the battery only installation that I requested, so I can understand why they didn't get any reviews at all. By that time, I had selected an installer, so there was no point chasing a quote from the second installer.

Still going thru info to select installer but now decided on large battery as well. Now for decision on that also...

The thing that really makes SolarQuotes stand out is not so much the quote system, but the amazing advice from both Finn & Ronald. Then add in all the blogs from Finn's website and you can almost be an expert and avoid being hoodwinked . Finn does his best, but you still can't eliminate possible bad deals and problems, ( e.g. Not having meter box/board inspected before you pay a deposit on a system, resulting in unexpected cost ) . Eventual 4th quote company may not be in Finn's system. (Long story) Anyway, Skål/cheers to Finn & Ronald.

Three competitive quotes were with me within days. All the companies seemed reputable and friendly, the quotes were realistic and frankly it's been a bit hard to choose between them! Solarquotes have made my life easier and have saved me a lot of time.

We obtained 3 quotes, 2 via solar quotes recommended seller and one independent. Whilst the costs of the systems were all comparable we decided to go with Perth solar force as they were the only supplier willing to come and inspect the premises, which was just as well otherwise we would have made an installation error. My only criticism was the other solarquotes provider got a bit knarcky and pushy when we advised him he didn’t win the work. Otherwise happy with the information available which assisted us in making decisions about which panels and inverters to install.

Only one of the people who quoted advised me, that the feedback tariff I was receiving made it uneconomic to install a battery!

2 of the recommendations installers contacted me quickly and I have received one quote we are really pleased with.
