Trip from Atlantic City Area to Phila with need for approximately 6 hrs parking. Approximate time from 2:30pm to 8:30 pm. Paid Spot hero in advance. When I got there I drove up a one way narrow ramp to the 2d floor and scanned my code bar only to have it rejected as "Invalid" No explanation as to why it was invalid.Repeated the effort several times Still no explanation. I concluded I was in the wrong garage. No way to turn around or back out, with another car in back of me. I called Spot Hero only to be told that I was 4 minutes early and would have to get a regular ticket. Finally an attendant came and I told him I was not moving until my my entry became valid. He took the time to change the tape in the machine and I finally got in. This was absurd !! I have used many other parking garages/apps and never had this kind of problem. This was my first and last time as a Spot Hero customer, whose only concern is in forcing customers to over estimate the time of entry so they can squeeze more money for unused time. I was out of the garage by 8:15, less than the 6hrs. Their customer services **** !!!

Searched Spothero for a parking spot specifying arrival at 9:30am and exit by 7:30pm and found a garage for $24. Pulled up to the garage ten minutes after 10am and hit "Book Now". Spothero took my money.

When I returned at 6:30pm the garage demanded $8 more. Why? The fine print on the booking pass issued after taking my money said that the price I'd paid applied only for arrivals before 10am. No, I didn't see this warning when I searched or booked. Although I saw no notification, it is possible that this was there in tiny print, but if so, this is terrible design and given that I booked after 10am this is doubly bad design and just unethical business practice.

A call to Spothero after the fact was to no avail--even after appealing to a supervisor. The rep and then the supervisor told me that it was my responsibility to read the parking pass and abide by the terms, i.e., the parking pass that Spothero issues after taking a customer's money.

Not cool.

I bought a 30 day parking pass for my stay in NYC. I left the garage on the 30th day. Now I'm getting bills from the garage for the next month.
Tried to get SpotHero to resolve the issue. They wouldn't do anything.

Do NOT USE SPOT HERO for Monthly stays!!!

Booked a spot for the Sat after Thanksgiving to see Book of Mormon. Got the the lot, which was one block from the theater, 45 minutes before the show started. We drove all the way up to the roof without finding an open spot. At that point, there were cars backed up for floors behind us, so leaving wasn't an option. It took almost an hour before we could park and we were late for the beginning of the show. The entire elevator of people we rode down in the garage with had all booked through SpotHero and all had to wait for at least 40 minutes before they could park. Clearly, they had oversold the structure. There is no point saving a couple bucks parking if you miss what you came to park for. Plus the spot they finally stuck me in was so crammed that my date had to exit the car through the drivers side -- couldn't even open the passenger door. Horrible experience. Will never use SpotHero again and will tell anyone who asks that it's a ripoff.

I booked and confirmed for a spot in Atlanta next to acquarum on Thanks giving day, when I reached, the lot was closed. I end up paying lot of money finding another place. So inconvenient.

I purchased parking for an event months in advance. I showed up to the parking garage on the day of the event only to be told that the garage was oversold and there was no available spots. This caused me to scramble to find parking in downtown Chicago and be late for my event. SpotHero guarantees you a spot on their website. That is completely false.

I booked a spot through the app and when I returned to my car I had a $75 ticket. After multiple calls and emails with the contact centre I have still to receive confirmation that it has been resolved. I had prompt responses initially but in later calls to confirm that I did not need to pay the ticket, I have been placed on hold for an extended period of time. Long enough to write this review. In the end, I needed to follow up myself with Impark to confirm that the ticket was voided.

There is no option to review their service on the app store yet. I would certainly inform other users to avoid the download and the trouble.

I purchased a parking pass for Kevin Hart. My pass states " EVEN IF THE LOCATION IS FULL OR SOLD OUT TELL THE ATTENDANT YOU HAVE A SPOTHERO RESERVATION". I had to pass the parking lot three times before squeezing into the lot. There was NO PARKING attendant. When I finally got into the lot a parking attendant came from across the street. I gave the attendant my parking pass. He informed me the lot was full and I could NOT PARK in the lot. He sent me three blocks the oposent direction of US Bank Arena. The lot at that location was only $5 and much farther.

I booked a 3 day parking in DC through Spothero. I received comfirmation and followed all procedures when parking. Put the confirmation page on the Dashboard. I come to pickup my Van on the 3rd day to find out that it had been towed away the next day itself. I called the parking lot and they claimed that they did not have any parking through spothero. I was charged $ 504 to get my Van released from the towing lot and was given a summon for $ 250 for illegal parking in a private lot.

I provided all details to Spothero and have sent multiple emails but havent received any updates or reimbursement .

I purchased 2 spots for my graduation in DC and the garage would not let us in stating it was full. Spot Hero guaranteed I would have the spots even if the full sign was out. NOT! I had to drive around looking for a spot so I wouldn't be late walking into the arena. The customer service rep told me I should have called to be relocated. Well guess what! I tried and the line was busy and I didn't have time to wait since I was graduating. This process ****! I will also be filing a complaint with Strayer since they recommended this company.

We waited for over two hours for valet pick up from the JFK airport to the parking site. Called a number of times and yet was told would be in 10 minutes. Got so frustrated that we paid for a private taxi to the parking site to pick up our car. We will never use this service again.

I had a reservation for a lengthy period of time (10 days); however, due to circumstances, I was forced to return home within 24 hours of my departure time and using the app I exited from the garage only to be charged the full amount for 10 days. The app doesn't allow for changes (only extending your time period) to your reservation; therefore when calling to dispute this charge the man, customer service representative representing the company was rude and overspoke the entire conversation only to say I would be charged the full amount and my only option in future situations like this one...would be to call on the spot to cancel...which forces you to be placed on a 10-15 minute waiting period while you are sitting in the garage waiting to check out. Ridiculous right?

Although I have enjoyed this facility (Houston, TX airport almost weekly for over 3 months) I will now find a new facility and never use them again. Amazing how poor customer service and deceptive practices ruin a business.

I asked for their assistance in leasing my spot for the World Aries in Washington DC. I kept waiting for their reply per their website. Never heard from them so I called. They said there’s a 3-4 week delay before I would be assigned to a rep. Going forward, I il just use Craigslist and leave this a**holes out if it. COMPLETE waste of time...

Used it for the first time in DC yesterday. Used credit card to pay $21 for a parking spot, they charged the card immediately along with 4 charges of $1.30 for Google pay. Never sent the confirmation code you use to get your car out of the parking lot. Called customer service and they said they couldn't find any record of the transaction. Offered to send them a screen shot of the credit card charge that had their merchant number on it and they said NO. HAD TO PAY ANOTHER $21 TO GET THE CAR OUT. Never AGAIN!!!!

I booked a space for a friend of mine choosing the one time and one time only payment for one month. Not only was this ignored and my debit card billed again. When I went to the parking lot last night to see if I could rectify the situation I noticed there was several RVs, cars and vans with people living in them obviously using drugs and hoarding. This company has not a clue where they're sending you to park. So before you book with this company it would be wise to go check the parking lot before doing so and your bank account after.

I parked at 221 Thompson street in NYC, they put my keys in another car that is in Westchester. SpotHero only offered me a $10 credit for my inconvenience. Totally irresponsible and irritating. Beware if you park there and have a spare.

I booked a space with Spot Hero last week as I knew I would be in Denver at a busy time. When I arrived the lot was completely full. I called and the customer service person made a half attempt to help me find another space, so I just told her to forget about it. She said she would refund me my $20. I ended up paying $30 at another lot. Today I checked my credit card, and no refund was given by SpotHero, so then a call had to be made. I was thankfully able to produce my $30 parking receipt and am only now being refunded and a $10 credit given for the next time I use SpotHero. I'm not sure if this hassle will be worth using them again.

Bought a spot in Lot B for the U2 concert in Philly last night, very close to the building. Was never allowed in Lot B to park, even after my receipt with scan code was checked by 2 attendants. Was just told to follow traffic, ended up in another lot, much further away that I could have paid $11 less for in cash and gotten in 10 minutes faster. Rip-off artists!!

I am a Garage owner operator. I listed my garage with them and after 5 months I still haven’t seen any money from reservations that people made. They have claimed that I gave them wrong bank info (3 times..???).
When I told them I wanted to stop the listing they emailed the customers and told them they had to leave the garage at the end of that month because the garage was closing for good.!!! They even provided the customers with info to other garages in the area..!!!!!
I am currently using a lawyer to get my money and thinking about suing the company.!!!!!
