Was told between 12-5Pm for installer and they would call before hand
No call so I ducked out for 10 minutes
And the installer came no call just left a card
Rang the outline number waiting 16 minutes to get through
The lady was lovely but the installer refused to come back today
I’ve taken A day off work without pay for them to stuff me around !
She got a team leader to call me back he was the rudest man ever
Told me to stop interupting ! I’m actually in tears

Dear " Simon" on customer service told me to go to post office and police to sort it out. Would not give me a refund. So I expressed my disappointment and asked to speak with a manager . After waiting for another 30 minutes for a call from one of their managers. decided to call back again and a different gentleman answered the phone, at first he was a bit rude but after realizing the missing item had not been delivered and had been in transit for more than 2 months decided to give me a refund. I had to do the detective work for them and point out the consignment note number i had missing. Luckliy a lady i had spoken to a couple of months back had given me all the consignment note numbers otherwise there is no way in the world I would have known wich one was missing . on 3 occasions I was served by a man wich to tell you the truth they are lacking customer service skills and every single time left me feeling very upset and dissapointed. (Just need to clarify that my Local post Office parcel delivery Lady is very good )

I was told a specialist team had to authorise the cancellation and they weren't there that day. The (incorrect) order was dispatched before anyone could 'authorise' my cancellation.
IF I'M CALLING TO CANCEL THE ORDER, HOW IS THAT NOT AUTHORISATION ENOUGH???!!
This was the first and last time I'll use Spotlight online.

The 1st order I placed was for 6 black small picture frames. They sent 2 black & 4 white frames. When I rang to advise them I was asked "don't you like white"? How rude. It then took 2 months to sent the black ones.
My second order I ordered 2 matching baskets I paid and received confirmation that they were posted. I then received an email to say the large basket was not available. When I rang them to cancel my 2nd basket I was told I could not because it had been posted. After waiting 2 weeks for the 2nd basket received an email to say it was being processed. When I called I was told I cant cancel the 2nd basket because it has been sent. Its now been 5 weeks since the original order I have received no baskets and no refunds.
Last week I received an aqua coloured fitted sheet when I ordered a blue one but was told today by Spotlight cant get refund on aqua fitted sheet as they don't sell aqua fitted sheets. Not true!
So far I am out of pocket almost $50 due to wrong items sent or items have not been received. Will never shop online or recommend them EVER!

I ended up hanging up on her after instructing her I will be taking it further, which I will. I just wanted to share my experience and caution anyone out there who is ordering online. You cannot trust this organisation, they are not reliable and your taking a huge risk by trusting that they can fulfil basic requirements of an online sale. Epic fail spotlight, get your act together or suspend your online shopping and stop wasting peoples time!!!! Would also encourage others to take their complaints further because this is not good enough and they need to be held accountable for their horrible service. Don't even want to rate them one star.

Almost every visit has been an issue, usually not applying sale prices. Then a chase to get a refund.
No one from head office get involved in any way, they just have the store manager deal with it who try to make excuses! Or say the 'fine print' says item wasn't included in sale although 1. It was and 2. Their shop set up is having e.g 30% off signs above product.
Their instore price checks never have sale prices set up so original prices scan regardless.
Went to get another sale item, got tbere and told they don't have it and most likely won't because they are a low sale store. They wouldn't know if they'd get it in and for me to just try again in a few days as day 1 of catalogue and they are only just setting up that sale? Most shops do that the day prior.
Then to have a collect from shop option would cost me $100 delivery fee 1. Nkt even delivered to my house, I'd still have to go pick it up and 2. It'd have to be an online order because they don't have any supply at the store and have incompetent staff who were no help! ( could have found out if they were going to get them, take my number and call me if they come in or called other stores for me to see what could be done )
