Totally dissatisfied with service $88.00 for 15 minutes work 8mt carpet. Rang to say I thought price was high was told I could have had 30mt cleaned for same price and this had been explained. to me.llooks like I need a hearing test carpet had had milk spilt on it no stain was there.responce from not so squeaky was to hang up in the middle of conversation and tell some one who cares . Use another company who values satisfied customers.

"I woke up on a Sunday morning to find that the dog had vomited on our light coloured wool carpet. It was very dark stain which had soaked very deeply into the fibres. I felt that only professionals can help. I called the Squeaky Clean Team at 8am and was greeted with a friendly voice.
Their team mates arrived shortly after and had removed the stain successfully within my budget! I would surely look forward to use their services again in the future."

I have engaged The Squeaky Clean Team on numerious occasion over the laste 4 years to not only general cleaning of my carpets and rugs but also to where damamge has occured - with exceptional results. Not only where the initial quotes good value and pretty much spot on to the final result they were also very reliable and a pleasure to deal with. They have always left my place inperfect condition - taking care with moving furniture etc
Cost effective - Reliable - Pleasure to deal wiht from the Operator who took my call to the technician who serviced my carperts and rugs

Booked in a carpet clean for a rental vacate, (a month ago so as not to stress and leave it to the last minute to organise) texted them the night before to confirm, no response.
Called another 3 times on the booked day of cleaning,
left messages , texted them No reply whatsoever.
On the last call the phone went to voicemail instantly.

Disgusting customer service.

Avoid like the plague.

Here is a copy of an email I sent to one of the staff at The Squeaky Clean Team after they cleaned my carpets:

"I spoke to your colleague this afternoon regarding some feedback I provided about your carpet cleaning service. He asked me to send you this email and include my bank details, so you can issue me with a refund.

A brief account of my feedback is that I was provided with a quote of $110 to clean 2 bedrooms, a hallway and some stairs. I was able to reconfirm this quote when I spoke to you on the day of the appointment - a call I had to make because your team member, [name removed], was running 45 minutes late but had not bothered to call me. After [name removed] assessed my house, he provided me with a revised quote of $200, explaining that the bedrooms were bigger than normal bedrooms (I don't believe this is true - it was a very small townhouse) and that the stairs were not included in the quote. He also advised that the carpet needed vacuuming (a job that had already been done by my cleaner). I questioned his quote, but as I had already waited 45 minutes in an empty house with a 2 year old, I was keen to get the job done and get home, so I just paid what he asked.

I called your office a week later to tell you about my experience. Your colleague was appreciative of my call and told me he would investigate and get back to me within 24 hours. After another 7 days I called again, and was again told he would investigate and call me back the next day. Another week has now gone by, and I just called a third time to be rather rudely told that I received a deep clean rather than a standard clean (because my "carpets were filthy") and that the rooms were larger than anticipated when you gave me the quote. He said that everything I have been saying is wrong, and when I questioned what he meant by this he just stated that he'll refund my money.

My initial experience with your company was not positive, but I'm most disappointed in the way my feedback has been dealt with. I have to say that I did not set out to get my money back when I lodged my complaint, however I am happy to accept it given the way I have been ignored, and subsequently spoken to."

Another 7 days have now gone by with no response from The Squeaky Clean Team, other than to say they will investigate further. I'll update this review with the outcome of their investigations, but based on my experience to date, I would steer clear of using their service. A man as rude as the one running this business simply does not deserve to have customers!!

The customer service is absolutely terrible. No follow up and extremely rude staff.

I had an appointment this morning for my steam-cleaning job to be re-done. This was arranged following an inspection by a member of the Squeaky Clean Team and their acknowledgment that the original steam-cleaning job was not satisfactory. I could not fault the follow-up to this point.

I called the Squeaky Clean Team office 1/2hr after they were due to arrive and spoke to the owner. He advised without apology that no one would be coming back to clean my furniture and that they were too busy and under staffed, instead I would just be refunded in full.

I questioned why no one would be coming back as per our agreement. He said he had never had a complaint before (I beg to differ based on the below comments from other customers) and contrary to the agreement we had above he did not believe it was necessary for someone to come back.

Apparently it was not necessary for him to call me and advise me of his decision either!

I said, in that case I will accept his offer of a full refund.

To which he responded with "piss off" and hung up on me.

I called back and suggested that this was not good customer service and would like to know how I’m to be reimbursed? He replied with “Some customers aren't worth having”. Again I was told to “Piss off” and he hung up.

Still without resolution, I called back again but he did not answer.

I called back again… I wished to explain I had paid cash and wanted to know how I was going to be reimbursed for the incomplete and unsatisfactory job?

He answered “You can keep ringing back but I won’t be taking your calls and I won't be refunding your money... Piss off” and he hung up again.

I then received a text message from him stating "see you at fair trade hearing "

I received a second text moments later " then we'll see"

I assume this was supposed to be a threat... Squeaky Clean Team Owner from what I've read and experienced you deserve to be taken to the Small Claims Tribunal.

I dont usually write reviews; but these guys saved our carpets and $$$$. After the recent torrential storms to hit Melbourne, our drains could not cope, we were inundated, flooding the entire ground floor. Our broker told us we were not insured for flood damage and we would have to bear the cost of replacing the carpets. After searching 'flood damage melbourne' I spoke to Richard of the Squeaky Clean Team and he explained the ins and outs of whether they could help us. In our case, we had to replace the underlay but not the actual carpet which was saved. My only issue was the noise of the blowers. I dont recommend you hang around during this part of the job. The facts are the quote for replacement was 4 times the cost of the job.

The cleaner was an hour late (though he did call to advise). The problem with this though is that only as he was leaving, and I asked when he was going to dry my sofas, did he say oh no they won’t be dry for 7 hours. By this time it was3pm so he was saying we would not be able to sit on our only sofas until 10pm tonight and couldn’t touch them which means vigilantly keeping the cats off them. The website said they dried the sofas. At no in the booking process was I advised I’d have to wait so long. I would have booked earlier. Won’t book again.

I have used the Squeaky Clean Team for general cleaning and for flood damage. Their service is prompt reliable and courteous. Most importantly all work is of a high standard and well priced . I wouldn’t go anywhere else . Highly recommend.

Emailed my enquire and got called back with an English fellow Richard.
He made arrange of a time to come inspect and quote my carpet so I stayed home. Didn’t come so I called him and he said he had forgotten and to send me pictures via email and his phone so he can write up an analysis and quote.
Never happened. Wasted my time. I did a follow up email and never even got a response. Absolutely useless.
Go else where people if you want someone who is actually useful.

Booked for 80 m carpet and was quoted $180. Richard turned up on time was friendly however first thing he said was it would cost more and was now trying to charge me $216! He did not vacuum the carpet and started with steam cleaning straight away. If you look at other reviews they seem to do this regularly trying to over charge from what they have quoted... I stupidly didn’t do enough research..

When the cleaner pushed the hose inside the duct, he only pushed it in not longer than 1.5-2m. Got it out straight away, without moving it around. Every duct was clean within few minutes. When cleaning return vent (largest one), he used a brush, again only pushed it in about 20-30cm, not deep enough, then with the vacuum hose went in a little bit deeper, but still without moving it around. Eventually he blew off all the dust from the top cover, made a huge mess, but not only there, also in every room. Dust was almost everywhere (on my curtains, near by furniture). At the end when I have asked him about it, he said that is how it is done and if I want my ducts cleaned properly I should buy a new one. I was amazed! Couldn't believe it! Now I have to clean my whole house, because dust is literally everywhere, wash upholstery, curtains and blankets on my beds. My back are killing me already from cleaning. I can not believe this is how it is supposed to be done. Very angry and disappointed.

Booked for a 3 seater sofa clean with fabric protection and was quoted $180. Person turned up on time was friendly however first thing he said was say they won’t clean back of couch and because there was two cushions it would be cost more and now trying to charge me $220 for a sofa clean ! The website clearly states cushions are included. If you are look at other reviews they seem to do this regularly trying to over charge from what they have quoted... I stupidly didn’t do enough research... I showed him the website and he did the couch cushions also... he didnt pre-treat couch with any pre-cleaner just went straight to work with machine and water and I was charged $60 for a few sprays of supposed “scotch guard” (I recommend NOT paying extra for fabric protection and doing that yourself which is a lot cheaper) couch has now dried and stains have resurfaced so I feel ripped off and have learnt a big lesson. I found another company they quoted me $95 ... I would avoid this company completely and do your research - this company is a rip off with dodgy attempts at over charging.

Our house flooded on a Sunday morning, Richard from Squeaky Clean was able to organise one of his crew to be onsite within 1.5 hrs to start drying it out. He was able to talk us through the insurance claim process as well making the whole process very smooth. Extremely helpful through out the works!
