a) My driveway paving all broken and not fixed properly with rain the paves are coming out and i am still not able to catch hold of the sub-contractor.
b) Statesman homes have made my home without any lights in any of the bedrooms/Entertainment room without any power points , how anyone can imagine their bedroom without light secondly i paid builders Sub contractor hard cash $2300 for doing all this job and still it was not fixed.
c) some tiles are broken in bathroom and still not fixed
d) hot water system not installed properly.
e) holes on the walls and paint is not done properly.
f)My fibre optic cable wire lines are not installed at all
and many more errors
These are some of the issues but the major and most irritating part is the catching these people.They never come on the phone to discuss the issue and to rectify their mistakes in fact i have to hold the lines for more than hours therefore Every week i have to visit their office to talk with their maintenance team but the their team is very Rude with all my family and talk with us as we had done a crime.They always give me false information and try to earn time like they will fix all the issue in next week but it has been 3 months and nothing has been fix.I also email them that i will go to court but their staff don't even bother or reply me anything.
I am out of word and i don't want to use dirty language on internet for this builder.
I had made my life's biggest mistake that i built with Statesman homes and now all my life is ruined because i have to pay off my mortgage for this crap service provided by this builder. I am finishing this review by saying that i have lost everything for nothing and i am not at all satisfy with the statesman homes. I feel like to kill myself for making this mistake that i choose Statesman homes for my dream house and if something happened to me it is statesman homes responsibility.

All in all has been a pleasant experience and we can't wait to start our build and move in to our first home.
Would definitely recommend Statesman Homes to anyone looking to build a home which is affordable and the team has been a pleasure to deal with.

While we can't fault our sales adviser, Roshan; our design consultant, Trish; or our client services liaison, Louise, the process has definitely had some catches that we didn't foresee to begin with. For example, Statesman require you to organise any fencing that needs to be done, including the removal of old fencing so they may begin building, but are unable to provide you with any contacts to help this process along. We were also told we would be getting free ducted air conditioning during the sales process, as it was part of Statesman's offers at the time. However, due to a miscommunication, we were told at the colour selections stage that this wasn't included after all and we would need to pay for it.
While we would recommend Statesman so far, just be aware that there may be miscommunication between the stages as you are handed between different people, so ensure everything is documented correctly for future reference. And whatever you do - do NOT go with the in-house broker. Save yourselves the time, tears and stress and find an independent broker.

So far, everyone we've dealt with through the company has been professional and answered all our queries, including Monique during Pre-construction and Graham our Site supervisor has been great during the build. Looking forward to moving into our new home together.

The final cost of the house was around what I was quoted, but I added a few extras at selections.
All in all, I am very happy I chose Statesman as my house builder, the experience was stress free, the build went without problems and you have a great team working for your company, well done. I would certainly recommend your company to others who may be considering a new build.

We were able to visit the Hickinbotham display home at Seaside Moana Estate and we fell in love with the beautiful bricks of the house. On our selection process, we were guided by design consultant [name removed]. She is very helpful, professional and know her job very well. We told [name removed] that we want our bricks to be exactly the same as the display home bricks. [name removed] told us that it was PHG Oyster bricks.
During the construction stage, when the bricks was first laid it was amazing, we were very happy with our choice. Unfortunately, during the brick washing process, the bricks face colour peeled off.
Our site supervisor told me that the bricks are normal but when we compared it to the display home bricks, we can clearly see the difference.I went to PGH bricks (brick manufacturer) display home at Golden Grove to show the bricks and ask some advise. One of the PGH manager confirmed that the bricks was damaged.
The PGH manager told me that they will help rectify the damaged bricks.
PGH brick expert went on site to evaluate the brick condition and told me that the bricks was damaged during cleaning due to strong acid mixture. Even though the bricks was in perfect condition prior washing, out of good will, PGH rectified the bricks in Front and Alfresco area of the house and it turned out amazing. The brick expert told me that it would cost $35 per square meter to rectify the bricks.
When I emailed our Statesman Client service officer to make sure that the whole house (bricks) will be rectified since the whole house was damaged due to wrong cleaning, our Client service officer told me that only the front and alfresco area will be rectified by PGH and that is Final. I sent couple more emails to our client service officer explaining that the house will look bad when half of the house has good bricks and half damage. Our client service officer replied to me saying that they did further investigations and they confirm that the bricks was not damaged during cleaning. How can that be? the front+alfresco area was already rectified. How can she tell me
that the bricks was not damaged?
It is so unfair, but we might have to shoulder the cost of rectification after handover because Statesman don't want to step up and take the responsibility. Even though the wrong cleaning happened during the build under Statesman responsibility.
I don't understand why Statesman can give $24,000 free upgrades to their customers but cannot shoulder an estimate of $3,000 cost of rectifying their own fault. I also don't understand why Statesman/Hickinbotham show a display home with beautiful bricks that they cannot replicate.
In the end, it is so frustrating that Statesman will turn over our dream house to us next week in partly good/partly bad condition where the front+alfresco area have amazing bricks while the rest of the house is damaged.
Thankfully one of my colleague advise me to contact Consumer and Business Services which I did. I have explain the whole story to CBS and they gave me a Case Reference Number. We are now hoping for a positive result.

I use Statesman Home time after time and it is at the end of the day, value for money.

only gripe is i cant do granite benchtops, apart from that no complaints
