TEFL Graduate

A very challenging but rewarding course. I was able to put a lot of effort and more importantly time into the course as I processed, reaped the reward of successfully passing. I will use this as another qualification and to enhance my teaching career with various further opportunities.

I had an excellent experience with the TEFL Graduate course. I loved its flexibility as it meant I could complete it at my own pace, and I thought that the structure of each model, as well as the additional materials (videos, quizzes to check understanding) were very helpful. The course covers every topic you need to know about teaching English as a foreign language, from planning to assessment, cultural awareness and behaviours. The online platform is extremely easy to navigate and the instructions are easy to follow. In addition, the tasks and assignments were clear and the feedback from your assigned tutor is valuable. I highly recommend the TEFL Graduate for anyone who is looking for high quality course that they can compete in their time and at their own pace.

The 120hr TEFL course is packed with great modules which are easy to follow & navigate. The course is flexible so great for those who have a busy schedule to work around. I would definitely recommend this course because I thoroughly enjoyed it and I now have another qualification that I achieved in my free time

Really enjoyed the course. It was informative and easily accessible. Alllowed sufficient time for study/revision prior to any exams/essays. Availability of a tutor was a wonderful assest ,as feedback and encouragement was an important aspect of the process in studying for TEFL course.

I thought the course was well structured and a good base to start from. The admin support was punctual and on the ball as I had a couple of issues logging in. I didn't really need to use the TEFL teacher support much (twice I think) but the response was quick and helpful. From a practical perspective it may help other students in the more mature category (I'm 63) to know that I was ruled out of some contracts - China stops at 60 and one in Hong Kong set a maximum limit of 35. I'm currently tying to get an on-line teaching role as I can't travel this year.

I found the course to be interesting, very detailed and a great introduction to the world of English teaching. I never had any problems and my tutors were quick to respond to any questions or concerns.

I loved the course , did because I had the time to kill , but it was well invested time. I learnt a lot about the language itself and very good and fun ways to teach English to others. Vanessa was very helpful and always available when I needed the help. Hard copy certificate arrived on time. Really enjoyed it and definitely recommend.

Very professional service throughout, from completing the TEFL course to finding my first teaching job in Thailand. I've never had any problems with system or communication and long may it continue. Special thanks to Carlos who is always on hand when I need him and is very knowledgeable in his field! Thank you for everything so far, I look forward to continuing our correspondence.

The course is nowhere near 150 hours and if it is advertised at this time, there should be far more content which would better prepare and reinforce key points outlined in the brief reading and video clips. The grading system is poor and very thin on the ground with the smallest mis-wording leading to a shift of 10% with an assessment system which does not accurately show a person's understanding of competence in teaching English.

I am satisfied and many learning strategies I have learnt from this course till now. My tutor is very coperative and very supportive to me ,I know Iam not a native speaker but they are helping me alot. I am getting very quick response from management through emails . I wish that I will pass my final exam.

I was given comprehensive detail about all the subjects a teacher needs to be aware about, I liked how much time was given so I didn’t feel a rush to complete the course, but it kept my intrigued enough to complete it within half the time provided. Everything was explained clearly and I liked the videos and interactive nature of the quizzes, it really helped narrow down what was important to remember. Sometimes the explanations were a bit too lengthy but ultimately it was important to read everything.

I think the suppprt has been great although i find the layout and some instructions are more difficult than it actually needs to be but any time i needed assistance ive received it even on weekend. Especially Nikki who has helped me.

Am deeply thankful for all that Tefl graduate did for me.As i look back on to time i was doing the course i realize that i was very lucky indeed to do my Tefl certificate with Tefl graduate for there where there for me whenever i needed assistance in anyway.Special thanks to Nikki who was my guide and support throughout the course To the Lecturers and Markers i say keep up the good work , you where always on time. My name is Lenny and I have been an English teacher here in Japan for about 5 months. When I began the process of trying to teach abroad I was a bit nervous about the whole process. However my concerns were quickly eased after my first conversation with my recruiter Carlos. His demeanour and professionalism was amazing and I immediately could tell I was in good hands. He was honest with me about how and where we should start looking and provided detailed information about various companies that suited my preferences. When I would ask about his experience or opinion, he always provided honest and personal feedback. He was incredibly responsive and encouraging throughout the entire process and ultimately helped me find an amazing opportunity. I came to Sapporo which feels so much like home for me. It is a beautiful city, with amazing food and people. When I took the train in from the airport to my apartment, I immediately felt at home and comfortable with where I was and what I was doing. Carlos was also checking in throughout the journey to make sure things were going smoothly. I have some pretty awesome coworkers and the students I have been fortunate to work with are amazing! The students have been the highlight of my time here in Japan. No place is perfect and I don't want to give a false impression, but when you consider all the amazing things here in Sapporo, including my students and coworkers, the not so good things pale in comparison. I cant thank Carlos enough for his help in making this opportunity possible!

I think you need to have more fed back from tutor, when you need to redo your assignment again. You pass on to the next module with 70%. I didn't realise it would affect the grades on your main certificate. I would have tried to get more than 70% if I had realised this would happen.

The TEFL course was good, I found it very hard I worked 10hrs a day non stop every day for 2 weeks and completed my 150hr Masters. It learnt me loads about grammar and lesson planning, I can't fault it. My online tutor was good and the course was supportive if you needed them they were right there. Someone also contacted me about work overseas from the program, which is really good as there is a progression with this. The reviewer was honest and my final score was 92%, very happy thankyou.

The tutor is the best part of this program, she was so helpful when completing this.
