I did receive my order after about 15 days, but no receipt nor packing slip; not even a return address on the envelope. I recommend staying away from these two outfits.
Thanks very much,
Rebecca M. Gaines

Hello,
As stated in our buyback FAQ, once an item has been received by us we cannot return the item to the customer who sent it. Per the agreement as outlined when you created the buyback, you indicated that you read and understood our purchasing policies as outlined in our FAQ.
Even though it is not our policy to send back books once received, if we are contacted within seven days from the day we received the order, we may be able to let you pay shipping prices to get book back. If we are not contacted about sending books back within that time frame, the items are recycled or donated to make room for new buyback books. We do apologize, but the book has already been recycled or donated.
Thank you,
Lora
Furthermore, the book I was promised was supposedly in "very good" condition on the "quality" scale. It was $1.93 more expensive than the others, so I went ahead and purchased it, believing that the quality would be better than the others that stated wear and tear, written on pages, etc.
When I opened the box, boy, was I wrong. There were Sharpie marks outside/ inside the cover, and a "To _______ (name omitted), January 1977 for reading the most books". No where in the comments did it state there would be all these writings and blacked out words throughout. The cover is torn and ripped.
While I'm not upset over the quality of the book (since it is an older novel), I am disappointed that I was promised a "very good" quality book with no markings, tears, etc., but received otherwise.

Prior to learning this information, I had to open the package to enter the code (only to find out I can't use it). I am now not being issued a refund because "I opened it". That's $50 that I was just ripped off for by textbooks.com and now I have to pay to order the book again.
DO NOT PURCHASE THROUGH TEXTBOOKS.COM. YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF.
