From my first call to Tile Cleaners I was lucky to speak to Michael who guided me with what methods could be done to fix my floor issues. He sent me links to videos of the way the floor would be treated and finished. So after I looked at them and followed other information I called and confirmed a date. My only concern was that I was clearing out a room with heavy furniture and I hoped it would all go well. I was again lucky to have young Garth and his partner come and go over the issues and what best way to clean and maintain my floor. The whole job was done in one day and I can only say how amazed I am on how great my floor looks now. Thank you to Michael for explaining all that needed to done and then for sending Garth and his lovely partner who both worked carefully and diligently till the end.
I can only say thank you to Tile Cleaners for your excellent service and I highly recommend them.

I had interviewed two tile cleaning companies & selected Tile Cleaners for the following reasons:
(1) Technical advice on the phone - Michael was very through in answering all my queries on the phone. I had rung the tile company to check details & got back to him 3 times (phone & email ) with information to assure the right product could be recommended for the job. I requested an experienced Technician.
(2) Technical advice on site - Daniel Di Paccce was my Technician. He examined the tiles & chose a clean method. He was not completely satisfied when it dried & did the process again with another machine - the care & attention to the final result was refreshing. We then discussed the sealant required & he explained how the penetrating sealer was applied & how it worked & curing time. We then discussed post-sealing care in order the sealer continued to do its job & was not compromised by other chemicals.
(3) The costing around floorspace was very clear & agreed upon by both parties - I had a floor plan which I shared with all parties.
(4) Finally, the phone calls & emails were always promptly returned to keep the job on my timeline.
I have just completed a renovation & it was a pleasure to deal with these two people directly & not via a builder.
I am very happy & relieved to have the tiles sealed - thankyou to Michael & Daniel - great work team !!

Adam from the Tile Cleaners just completed a clean of our home we moved into 4 years ago. He was on time, very tidy, neat and professional, and the office staff were very good as well. I can fully recommend Adam and the Tile Cleaners. Would use them again, Great Job!

I booked with TileCleaners (also operating as Tile and Grout Pro) to clean and seal my travertine terrace and to fill in the holes (much of the original fill in the filled travertine had disappeared over the years). We agreed on the job to be done and the price and I was told to expect the tradesmen at 9.00 am. They arrived around noon, but had not been properly informed by the company managers and were not expecting, nor equipped, to fill the travertine. So they left without doing the job. After further correspondence with the company I agreed to a new, higher price, and was told again that tradesmen would come at 9.00 am. I subsequently - after 9.00 - received a message that they would come just after noon. Again, I waited at home, all day, but nobody ever came. The next day I received an invoice for the work, as well as both email and SMS reminders to pay them. Avoid them!

after numerous attempts to contact them and get a quote i managed to get a response then waited all afternoon - no one turned up - they had booked the wrong date. I organised again and this time they said they couldn't find the booking - so 2 days waiting and no tiles sealed. I took this as a warning not to bother - they seriously are hopeless

I was quoted for $24/m2 for strip and seal over the phone when I told them it was likely a solvent-based seal on my terracotta tiles. When the "technican" came last Thu, he emphasied that all existing solvent-based seals need to be stripped off in order to be coated with this water-based and environmental friendly seal by using their company's special products and equipment. He pulled out a can of the so-called "special chemical" and quickly rubbed the flaky top off. As this chemical release strong fume, he told me he would need special gears and another person to help him, and hence jacked the rate to$50/m2. As I was hoping to get it done sooner, I reluctantly agreed. However, when this guy turned up on Sat, he only used a high power gurney to clean the flaky top off, and started using a can of Xylene ($60 from Bunnings) to wipe things off. When questioned about the "special chemical and gears" supposed to be used here, he said this is his "trade secrete". However, the Xylene couldn't strip all layers of existing seals, he rushed out and brought back a small can of paint stripper and tried to rub them off. Felt like being deceived, I sent this sneaky guy away, with 90% of the surface still left not stripped properly. When speaking to someone called [name removed], who is supposed to be their national manager, he told me it is up to the franchised contractor to decide if they are to hire or purchase company's products/gears to accomplish the job. This means, do not be misled by their glossy pages on the website and there was no OHS or SOP from this "technician". There are a lot of sharks in this industry, so do shop around and get some references before engaging one.

No show booked for 3 weeks and did not sjow on the day. Rang and spoke to someone to find out what happoened still no call back rang again no answer all day. I dont think it is a company anyone could rely on. Dont have any safty sheets. Looks prossional online but seems as if it is a company that frams out the work to who ever they can get if they cant get anyone they tell u they will check leaving you hanging.

Contacted Tile Cleaners for a quote on cleaning my balcony Dec 2016. They gave me a quote over the phone of about $400 and I was ok with it and organised a date. This was about a week out from Christmas 2016. The guy came on the date tried to measure the balcony but his measure failed. I have him mine to use. Turns out the bill was going to be about double what they quoted me. I wasn’t happy to spend this just before Christmas so rescheduled for February. The guy left – taking my tape measure with him mind you. Twice they got the dates wrong (they send you confirmation emails) and I had to contact them to tell them the correct date I had organised. On the actual date, took time off my own work and waited at home but when he was late, I called them and the guy was like sorry made a mistake didn’t think it was today - can we schedule for the next day?
Fine. Next day again I took time off work and I am waiting at home. A TEXT message arrives to say he couldn’t make it. Yes just a text. Mind you here i was sitting at home waiting to part with a little over $800 and all you get is a text. I decided to let it go. I didn’t hear further from them but imagine my horror at receiving a bill they say is overdue for $66 for their time! 3 months after they failed to do a job. They will not call you they will not deal with you. This is just fresh but I am keen to see where I can take this as this on principle its just not right to pay people for basically nothing. Be extremely careful of dealings with these people!

I had booked a small tile repair job but they informed when I rang the day before that they were unable to attend to the job as they still had not finished a previous job. I then arranged for them to come in 2 weeks time. The day before they were due to arrive they sent me an email to confirm their booking and informed me there would be $150 + gst call out fee if I did not go ahead with the job. An hour after they were meant to arrive I rang the company to find out when to expect their arrival and I was informed they would not be coming as they had not finished a previous job. I asked for $150 compensation as they did not go ahead with the job when I had taken time off work for the appointment and guess what they were not willing to pay the money.

After moving all my furniture out of the house in prep for the job (prior to going interstate) we were called on the day by a SUBCONTRACTOR who told me that TILE CLEANERS PTY LTD CANBERRA had supplied him with the incorrect measurements and he could not complete the job as he had to return to Sydney where he lives in a few hours. I called Tile Cleaners to reorganise another time and they said they'd call me back...they didn't. I emailed them including the original email with my CORRECT measurements and asking for a call or reply...no reply or call. Called them again the following afternoon only to be told: "Yes, what do you want?"...reminded the gentleman of our earlier conversation and he said: "Yeah, we can't do it for another month" ....I told him that we had emptied the house for this job and we need it done ASAP...basically told us 'too bad'. Despite it being their mistake, they did nothing to remedy the problem. But reading the other reviews maybe that was a blessing in disguise. Horrible customer service...will be going out of my way to tell people how useless they are.

I contacted tile cleaners in good faith and was told by a guy with 25 years experience that my floor would look as a good as new. I ended up with a foreign crew including back packers . None of them were specialists and my floor has been totally wrecked. It is difficult to get a refund from them, so be very careful.Their advertising is very aggressive, once you make contact they will pursue you.

Was booked in to clean my cafe floor at 9am and even received an email at 6.52am that the cleaner would be coming at 9am. After spending over an hour removing all the furniture I got a call at 8.06am to be told the cleaner has rang in sick and they can't get someone out there till 2pm. He arrived at 2.30pm and after trying to persuade me to spend more money for a better job he did the job like he was in a race leaving a lot of mess which I had to clean up. There management didn't care and were not willing to give any sort of discount. After they did the job I am left with white patches which I was not aware was going to happen which means I have to seal the floor.

December 12th 2019 Update: Average

I lodged an Internet enquiry as I had a location on Mornington Peninsula. Received a call and I ensured they did work in my area which I was assured they did. An email every day saying they tried to call, which they did not. I uploaded photo's spoke to cleaner himself, called and spoke again with the office, received multiple emails confirming the booking as I had accepted their $660 quote, all of which was great. Then after organizing a day off they called to say it was too far to drive and they wanted travel money, a further $200! After 3 weeks and now reading these reviews I think I have missed a bullet, will look further, approach this group cautiously.

I wish I had seen these reviews before we paid almost $3000 to get 170sqm of concrete pavers in our pool area cleaned and sealed. The topcoat on many of the pavers has been damaged by being pressure-cleaned too hard and some of the grout was also damaged. The sealer was used very sparingly and we are already seeing mould.

This company is pathetic, they botched our newly laid blue stone tiles so badly that they will need to be lifted and replaced, something that will cost over $10K to do, if you value your tiles DO NOT USED the Tile Cleaners in Melbourne.

This company (like other reviews) turned up for a job 4 hours late to say it was too late to do the job and then failed to turn up for the replacement appointment (despite guarantee that they would do so). No response to phone calls or emails. This has cost me a fortune in time off work and despite them being told that as a contractor I wouldn't get paid if I wasn't working and it was essential that they didn't let me down again - they did.

I spoke at length to one of the staff, sent photos of the tiles and accepted a quote. I then booked the job for today 9/9/19. The original quote was for $700. At 8.50 am I got an email with a new quote at $4,800. I called, discussed it and said I was fine to go ahead with what I had been quoted. At 10 am I called to say no one had arrived. I was told someone would call back after they spoke to the contractor. At 11 I called again and was told the job had been cancelled because they werent sure if I wanted to go ahead with the more expensive quote. Spoke to 3 other companies and told them about my wasted day off and they all said the company sub contracts the jobs to 3rd parties.
