Tradesy.com sells fakes and then doesn't follow up when notified that sellers are selling fakes. Way too much hassle. Tradesy.com guarantee of "authenticity" is absurd. Can't have a guarantee when they don't enforce it. Will never buy from Tradesy.com again. Total scam.

Tradesy changed its return policy, without disclosing it to the customers, which now requires that all returns must be send back to sellers, even thou the sellers represented items correctly and followed sellers policy. Normally Tradesy would be obligated to hold returned inventory. When I reached out to Tradesy, they said that "due to a pandemic we are not taking any returns". Tradesy warehouse is operating as every return is shipped to the warehouse, inspected by Tradesy staff, and than returned to a seller. So to say that because of the pandemic we are not taking returns is ridiculous. Not taking inventory is just more profitable for Tradesy and they are capitalizing given distressed market environment. Tradesy returns on average take about 8 weeks, and chances are that you will not receive your item back (there is a huge error rate in shipping labels), and if you do get your item back most the time it will be in terrible condition Tradesy has relaxed rules for buyers in terms of returns and buyers can return items after 10+ post delivery. I am still waiting for two items to be returned to me since February. As an ex seller I would not recommend Tradesy.

Unfortunately did not know my LV was counterfeit until it was sold and authenticated by a more reputable company. Tradesy is corrupt and even though they say they authenticate the merchandise sold- it I lie otherwise I would not be stuck with a fake ass LV. $700 in the trash. I would have got more enjoyment burning the money. I will get them shut down if it's the last thing I do!!!!! By the way they say it's been authenticated but give you a 4 day window to return if it's no authentic. Sound hypocritical to me, Anyone who shops that site should stop immediately, nothing but con artists!

So here's the problem with Tradesy. They used to have a fair, if unusual, return policy, where a buyer could return an item to Tradesy for any reason. Tradesy would resell the item themselves and release the seller's payment. Everyone was happy with that, but I guess Tradesy wasn't making enough money reselling these returns. Now, they haven't told anyone that they changed the return policy, but they did. They still allow absolutely anything to be returned for any reason, in any condition, within thirty days of sale. But they're sending everything back to the seller, and even charging the seller for shipping. Basically sellers are paying shipping and having their items damaged, just to allow cheap people to rent designer clothes for free. Tradesy will tell you that they 'couldn't determine market value'. Their way of saying that they didn't believe they could make more money off it than you originally sold it for. Tradesy, if you can't put your money where your mouth is, then just get a normal return policy. We're sick of all the returns and ready to jump ship.

Not recommended for high end luxury selling due to the fact that they changed their release of funds so not only do they take close to 20% commissions now it's 21 days clear of delivery to receive your funds in your Tradesy account and an ADDITIONAL 21 days if you dare withdraw funds to Paypal or your bank account! Mind you they have a 4 day window on return so they're holding funds up to 42 days oh and did I mention that they charge a transfer fee of 2.9% so it's actually 23% commissions to sell on Tradesy stay away!

I seen a lot of comments that it says they sell fake items here .. I'm really afraid that the Dior I purchased is fake .. not trying to be racist I look at the destination of where the bag is coming from and it's coming from China .. I'm Asian n I know there's a lot of A list replica there like they look real as $#*! .. what should I do :(

I don't recognize this new-age Tradesy! A whole different online store experience then I originally started dealing with in 2010. Just like others; as soon as the company grows, their thirst changes. No more I ordered a product on February 28 and as of today March 20, I have not received. Instead of sympathizing with my situation and trying to resolve, the Rep went on about what a wonderful seller the Japan-based seller is for their company....as if that individual was immune to the rules. In fact, Tradsey never discloses to the buyers that the rules are different for international transactions. Their service is the worse. I found Fashionphile! When this fiasco is resolved and I get my money or my product....deuces...I'm out! No more Tradsey

I sell on Mercari, eBay, & Poshmark. I used to sell on Tradesy but closed my acct today cuz it's awful. Sales are infrequent, fees are too high (to sell & also to cash out), plus it took over a week to cash out my earnings. They want to focus on higher end, luxury items but if customers have that kind of money, they're not likely to shop resale. Waste of time & money listing anything on Tradesy!

Without notifying sellers, Tradesy changed their return policy allowing buyers to return an item for ANY reason. I got a message that the item I sold was being returned because it didn't fit, even though it was correctly described. If I had known of the change in policy, I would have immediately removed ALL of my listings, but that's exactly why we weren't notified of the change. What a horrible way to treat a longtime member (now former member)!!! Never again will I be caught off guard with a company that operates in such a shady, unethical manner!!! Officially DONE!!!

So difficult to sell through this company and they hold on to YOUR money way to long. Customer service is a joke and it's scary these people authenticate designer bags with very limited knowledge. If you do have an issue they just give you the run around until you throw up your hands and give up. I wish they were monitored more because they need it.....come on BBB you have plenty of complaints!

I will never purchase anything from tradesy again. Purchased handbag from Coco-luxury weeks go by with no shipment and we I requested shipment date she would not give one. She was politely arrogant. Stating because of corona virus she couldn't give date..yet I have received shipments from multiple companies no problem. When I complained to Tradesy they canceled order stating bag was not up to standards. Left me hanging for weeks. No apology nothing.

Recently I sold an expensive jacket on Tradesy. After about 2 weeks I received an email from Tradesy that my jacket was being returned with no explanation. Also, I'd like to mention that I paid $15.00 to ship the jacket to the buyer. After calling Tradesy, I was informed that they've changed their policy. So if you sell, you have to accept the item back for any reason. Tradesy never mentioned this new policy or that sellers had to now pay out of their own pocket to ship items for them to be returned. I've closed my account.

Terrible service! Very DISAPPOINTED!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND! Tradesy suspended my seller's account after I changed my account's address to Brooklyn. This looks like DISCRIMINATION to me. They did not provide me with any explanation. Trust team (Brandon H.) ignores my messages and does not reply. When you call customer support, they tell they can not help you. When I sent message to Tradesy on FB, I was told that somebody will get in touch with me within 2 days, however, that NEVER HAPPENED. I sell original items and wanted to solve this problem, but instead I'm just being IGNORED.

I purchased a Louis Vuitton for 2348..00 the package was never delivered to my house so the seller took a claim out on the bag and got a refund from the post office so now he getting two payment....I been contacting tradesy and seller about my refund but no response from tradesy and seller telling me to contact them about the refund.... I will be filing a lawsuit for my refund.....I never had a problem with Tradesy until now

So it seems like Tradesy has a new return policy again, but this time they accept NO RETURNS. As a seller, I think it's unacceptable. Considering the fact that sellers haven't even been notified about the new return policy, I'm not even sure its Legal. Paying them 23% for what? Nope I'm done. Selling my last pieces and out. If they change their policy and stop accepting returns for any reason like all other resale websites, maybe I'll rethink it. But for now, bye-bye. Won't be surprised to see more sellers to follow.

I purchased a Louis Vuitton for 330.00 the package was never delivered to my house, after 3 weeks I filed a claim with USPS (who TF send a high-quality package through USPS) and still no delivery so I contacted the seller to let them know I was filing a claim with my bank due I never received the handbag, I also notified Tradesy about it and their request was to pick the package up at USPS facility which all are close due to COVID-19. 2 weeks after I received the package and filed a claim with my bank. TRADESY request me to open the package send them pictures and the purse was damage, so they asked me to ship it back and that I needed to cancel the claim with my bank so they can proceed with the refund. What a BAD DECISION so I can get my refund and still trying to contact them so I can get the money back, last I was told the refund was processed on 6/24/20 but haven't got anything 'till this day. They all are a bunch of liars on customer service.

So I bought a bag that said it was 17 inches long and when I got it the bag was only 12 inches long and NOT the size that it said it was so I called Tadsey and the representative told me not to worry that they would cancel the loan I took out from affirm and then I get n email saying I have a site credit! They want to force me to buy something from them even though I don't need anything from them .out $758.00

I purchased a $720 item from Chic Finds and they cancelled the order, raised the price by $100 and refused to honor original featured price. Tradesy let them get away with "correcting their listing" and has done nothing - including dropping the vendor - despite many emails requesting that they do so.

I purchased a nice coach handbag. Normally, I go to the store, but I attempted an on-line purchase. I have had Coach bags for years with quality that have looked as good as when I bought them. It had this bag for 6 months and the leather on the handles began shredding. It's clearly not good material or workmanship and hence a fake. I send 30 photos going back and forth with them for a month and they refused to provide a refund. If you want quality, go to the actual maker and not Tradesy!!! They should be pulled off the market for claiming an authenticity and not honoring guarantees.

Tradesy charges 23.99% and their service is the worst for being this much!! They are returning an item that I sold even though they agreed that it was accurate. They're saying that they can't obtain the fair market value. Ridiculous! Total waste of time and full of BS! This site also takes almost a month before they release your hard earned earnings! Soo crazy! Beware of this site! Hope it gets shut down! They are like thieves, so ridiculous l!
