I have been deeling the person called eric(hamyue) he arranged pilgrimage package for me I was not happy with hotel I paid extra £605 for a hotel because I was going with my children I choose near to Makkah he send me confirmation I was agree because hotel was very close and 5* I was going 13 February and he rang me 12 February and said me I upgrade you hotel and giving you better hotel I said I don’t want best I want which is I already choose .He was so upset he was pushing me that you should agree that you are happy to change the hotel I said I don’t want to change he try his best till end than I was flying from Manchester I was litterly cry that why without my permission he change my hotel and also paid a lot of money why I am staying in cheap hotel without me permission he send me new reservation I was crying he said to me I can’t do any thing now it’s happend you can talk to maneger I talk to maneger he also blackmailing me that if you don’t want it go where you want we don’t want your money back we don’t change your hotel tHis company is totally fraud please please do not choose them I will now request saudia defate hajj take certificate back because in the name of Allah they trapping people and do the fraud

My flight was cancelled and the agent tried fobbing me off with a voucher or a date change as the airline does not give refunds. I contacted the airline who informed me this was not true and that the agent should issue me my refund. The agent has now told me 9 months wait time

NICK.has been great and honest to me and my family .he has served us many years and l highly recommend him to anyone wanting to travel.he is very respectful, loving, kind good person to understand anything easy.always respond to the calls and emails.we have never has any problems with him He always there for us.always got us good offer.

Following the passing of my mother last year September (2019) and despite the fact that my sister had sent through the death certificate as requested, we are yet to receive a refund. The communication from Travel House regarding the progress of our request has been appalling. It was only after calling the airline directly that we determined the ticket was in refund status but up to now we still haven't received the monies and the main Sales Consultant simply stopped responding to any of our messages. I definitely would not recommend using their service.

Had tried to rebook and bring forward a consequently cancelled return flight for my mother from the Philippines before theit travel suspension was put in place, due to slow response rate and incorrect information from the agent ie “UK have put in travel restrictions (16th/17th March)” when they hadn’t on top of Travelhouse unable to take my payment through a credit card “managements decision”, I was put in a position where I had to spend £600 to book a separate return fight directly with the airline. I am now battling to get some kind of response on a refund for the cancelled flight, it has been a month now and a few chasing emails, I have not had a response or an out of office message from the agent. Very very disappointed.

Absolutely shameful for a company that specialises in bookings for Islamic pilgrams, they current behaviour is not islam, refusing to adhere to the law in relation to package bookings and to make a full refund when unable to go for Unrah during the month of Ramadan with my family I paid £8300 and they say I can get a voucher Wait three years to get a cash refund, the law states 14 days and a full refund refund should be made, the money i gave them is Amana and if they are unable to give the AMANA back because they are unable to provide the service they promised then I do not forgive them in this life or the next, this is down right dishonest and not in the letter if the Islamic or Uk law.
They do not return phone calls it’s the complete opposite of when I was making the booking and I paid in full some 4 months before the planned departure date of 4/05/2020.

brother when you can Not deliver what you have been paid in full for then in our faith you are obligated to return the money in full for that which you have taken, and can not blame anyone one else as that money was In trusted to you, I know not of Egypt airlines or any other I paid you the money in full four months before departure and it is you who is responsible for returning it. I have phoned and emailed and texted On the subject and I shall await your findings and pray to ALLAH that you will do what is Islamic and right. Wasallam alaykum Mohamed Said Otmani

Bought a ticket to go to Botswana towards end of March. Two weeks later Botswana realised a press release that anyone from U.K. is being quarantined. I then attached the press news to Virgin airline agent explained that journey would not be worth it and also U.K. gov was also advising to travel only if necessary. Now I I’m having trouble getting my refund which the Airline Elaine I was in title to full refund but I need help as I don’t that kind of money. I worked hard to earn it and now I’m not getting anywhere with Gordon Travel House

Shocking service
Obviously got his commission and got out. No follow up whatsoever.
Have waited four days with no response to my email.
The Whatsapp service responded quickly and once again forwarded to Fred...same result!
My wife emailed at the start of lockdown....also no response.
Please do not deal with this person. If he answers , ask for someone else

I had my perth to cardiff cancelled due to covid19. I have emailed, wattsapped and only spoke to one representative who said there was availability on 15th april but to london not cardiff ( no flights to there) i would have to pay an extra £495 for this flight. But.....iv heard nothing back since.
Not sure why travelhouse have made very little contact with me as feeling quite stranded here.

Due to Covid 19 - I am unable to fly.

BA have cancelled my flights and have issued refunds to customers that have booked with them. However as I have booked through TRAVELHOUSEUK, this refund is proving difficult.

I was told 3 weeks ago at the start of Covid 19 by TRAVELHOUSEUK that once BA make a statement regarding how to deal with cancellations of flights I should only then contact the travel agency. So I waited patiently.

So my flight was cancelled last week. Since that week I have called every single day only to receive the same message over and over again.
- your travel agent is not available and is the only one that can deal with this request
- The managers do not have a contact number
- You will have to email in your enquiry
- We can not issue a refund only your chosen travel agent can.
I have sent emails, I have called numerous amount of times and I am absolutely appalled with the way I have been treated.

I have explained countless times that a voucher or credit refund will not be suitable as I am travelling with family including my elderly mum who does not want to fly anymore. Her health condition does not permit this and all I ask is for a full refund.

HOWEVER, my travel agent who reassured me that what ever BA are offering they will too offer this, is now going back on his word. In the conversation yesterday he was being very contradictory with the information he was giving
- BA have stopped offering refunds (but I called personally and they still are)
- BA are only offering refunds to customers that have bought tickets with them directly
- TRAVELHOUSEUK have written a new legislation (which they said they will email to me which they haven’t) stating that they cannot offer refunds.
Which does not make any sense to me. A legislation created one day ago should not have any affect on the claim I’m making as this was created after my claim.

Another reason this is contradicting there company rules. I spoke with a female member of staff this morning and she explained that
- she has been offering her customers refunds but including a £200 cancellation fee.
Which shows that TRAVELHOUSEUK are offering refunds but at there own discretion and for any fee. In this circumstance, a cancellation fee should not be administrated as it’s the airline who cancelled and not the person flying.

My travel agent promised to get me answers once he speaks to his manager. Promised to call me back 01/04/2020 and has not.

All I’m asking for is a full refund. I spoke with ABTA and they stated “a full refund should be issued as the airline are the ones who cancelled”. If my claim is not taken seriously or escalated anytime soon. I WILL BE TAKING THIS FURTHER.

Very bad customer service . With the recent pandemic going affecting travel it's sad to say your team have handled things wrongly. Just getting a normal refund has been a problem which it shouldn't. I suspect fraudulent activities here. My sister also complain bitterly yesterday.

Please stay away from this company .

I had the most terrible experience with one Ian Hunt , an agent that works with this company. On Tuesday 24/3/2020 I called the company to buy a business class ticket to Cotonou, Benin Republic. He got a suitable ticket for just under £2800 or so. I made a deposit of £600 and we agreed that I must pay the balance on or before Thursday 26/3/2020 as the flight was meant to be on Friday 27/3/20. Though he told me that the ticket was non refundable, he never told me that I would be quarantined in Cotonou for 2 weeks at a hotel at my cost. So when I called him the next morning to the pay the balance , he told me that there is something he did not tell me. It was at that point that he told me that if I arrive Cotonou I would be quarantined for 2 weeks at a hotel at my cost. Meanwhile I was meant to be away for just 2 weeks and then return to the UK. Of course the new information he gave me was a game changer. Had he told me this ,when I was making the deposit, I would not have made the payment of £600. I asked for a refund of my money. Ian Blunt refused, insisting that the deposit was non-refundable. I attempted to make him understand that the new information he just gave me was not acceptable. No one travelling for 2 weeks would accept to pay nearly £2800, get into the country, move into a quarantine hotel, pay for the hotel and upkeep, then get released after 2 weeks and then fly back to where they were coming from. Ian did not accept. He was insistent that the ticket was non refundable and asked me to get a lawyer if I did not accept and hung up on me and refused to take my calls again. I managed to get hold of someone in his house but unfortunately the same Ian was in the office and influenced the person to deny me my refund. I asked Ian to send me an email to confirm the new information he gave me about the quarantine rule in Benin Republic but he flatly refused and did not. I managed to get an email address from Ian's colleague to complain with. He said i could not speak to any manager, I promptly sent the email to their customer services on 25/3/20 and up till today 31/03/20 , i have not got a reply or even an acknowledgement. I kept calling until on Thursday 26/3/2020 I got someone in that office who took time to listen to my issue and asked me to hold on, then came back to me after about 10 minutes to say he had spoken to their manager and he has promised to give me a full refund within 10 days and also to send me an email to that effect within 24 hours. Unfortunately I forgot his name. When I did not get the promised email after 5-6 days, I decided to ring their office again today 31/3/20. Unfortunately when I rang I got one Jason and Ian was also in the office. I told Jason why I called, he get me hanging on the phone and spoke to Ian in a foreign language, then came back to me and said that my ticket was non refundable and that I should go get a lawyer. Even when I explained that his colleague had told me 5-6 days earlier that I would get a refund, he was not having it. He kept telling me that they cannot vary the terms and therefore I should sue. I hung up and called back around 1415 hours and got one Tyson Ford who identified himself as a travel agent. Unfortunately again , Ian was in the office with him. Tyson, kept me on the phone and spoke to Ian in a foreign language, then came back to me to say once more that my ticket was non-refundable. I kept telling me that someone sensible had promised me a refund already but he stuck to his guns. Ian kept speaking to him from the background in a foreign language. However I became persistent and he asked me to hold on. After a few minutes, he came back to me to say that a manager has just told him that I would be refunded in the next 14 days. I said to him I was told I would be refunded within 10 days 6 days ago and today again I am being told I would be refunded in 14 days. After much insistence, he told me that his manager was Daniel Woods. I am now distraught and waiting

Travel house uk provided me with stressfree service. I was suggested flights and hotels and tokd to go and look into their ratings. Only once i was happy did we go ahead to book.
Our trip was incredible and everything that was suggested and promised was in place.
Me and my family are very greatful for all the service that you provided.
