DO NOT USE.
Obtained written quote which included photos of requested work (bathroom). Ultra Glaze CBR completed 2/3 of agreed work at the beginning of May 21, paid in full on the day however now they will not return emails or calls to complete agreed work. Taking this matter further however sharing our story to prevent others having to deal with the same frustration.

I have used the Wollongong franchise previously which went well. However when I went back to use him again the price had doubled for a bath... to what is really an unreasonable amount. Maybe the building boom has caused a supply and demand issue, however when I asked for an explanation I got no reply.

#delivery(3/5) #price(3/5) #quality(3/5) #customer service(3/5) #on-time(3/5)

I used the South East Queensland branch.
After the job was done by Ultraglaze I noticed that the grout of my newly tiled bathroom under my bathtub weren’t masked up properly which were grey in color after the tiler left but now look white. I said to the guy by the name [name removed] before he started my job to make sure that nothing gets on the grout under the bathtub. The advertisement on Ultraglaze website states that a professional tradesman will mask up everything around the area to be sprayed properly so that the surrounding area will be free of any over-spray. The job looks like a 10 year old kid did the masking up of the tub and not a professional at all if you'd ask me. However to top it all of a day later when I could use the bathroom again as per instructions I found that there were still 2 chips in my resurfaced tub right on the tubs top edges as well as dirt particles painted in with the new paint because a clean single use overall should’ve been used and not a dirty old one which most likely explains the dirt in the new paint. There is also orange peel around the top edges of the bathtub and on the bottom of the newly re-glazed tub doesn't look glossy at all but rather dull (not glossy) which could be because the tubs bottom didn’t get polished properly before leaving the job and it made the tub look like as if it was scrubbed for about 5 years. My door jamb which was painted in oil based enamel had white spray dust because he didn't mask it up at all what an unprofessional job it makes my blood boil. At last I didn't even get the 7 year hand written warranty before he left my place as quoted on his website. I had to call the guy to come back and fix his stuff ups and when I called he was to busy watching football and he said he'd call me after the weekend which he did and he came back to fix his job somewhat with the orange peel mostly gone the bottom of the bathtub polished up and the chips filled in and touched up with paint. However where one of the chips was filled and painted over right on top of the tub the paint is now not as glossy as the rest of the tub because it most likely wasn't polished properly again. Because I had no touch up enamel paint left for my door jamb to repaint it from the over spray and no grout for the tiles because the tiler had left I did ask the guy to buy it for me so that I could make the necessary fixes for his stuff ups and yes he did bring the grout which he filled from a small bag in to an even smaller plastic bag and the one liter paint he brought he also filled up in to a small tin because he said that I wont need that much. What the ....? First this guy stuffs up mu tub and my door jamb and grout which will take me a few hours to fix and then he recons that I don't need as much paint or grout? if that would have been me I just would have left the lot with the customer because the customer has to go through the trouble and spend a couple of hours to fix this guys mistakes. As for cleaning up after he did his job, not at all the water from washing down his polishing compound was all over the floor which I had to clean up because it seemed as if he left in a hurry to get to his next football show and beer. All in all it has been not a very good experience at all.

This is an update after the guy came back to fix the chips he didn't fix initially and fix up his orange peel looking paint job and polishing the bottom of my bath tub to make it look glossy. Well guess what I just sent this guy another message because he needs to come back again because where he fixed the chip in the glaze on top of the tub you can see now that the immediate area around his repair work if you can call it that now doesn't look glossy like the rest of the tub and as a matter of fact you can see still where he sanded the area of the chip but didn't polish it of properly. This whole job has been one big stuff up and as you can imagine I am not impressed by this company at all.
My advise would be, if you want a professional job done where your bathtub looks like new as it is claimed on the Ultraglaze website get someone else in and not this mob because that kind of work (stuff up) is as bad as it gets.
