We placed our house on the market mid October last year, and sold in January, we were so excited since the viewings had fallen over the Christmas period. Unfortunately our buyers buyer pulled out so we put our house back on the market and in March we sold again, it fell through. However in May we sold and finally completed in JUNE!!! Thank you Sharon for completing the majority of our viewings and selling our home!
Once sold, the aftercare was brilliant, we were not let down by Glen, Melanie, Sam, Sue and Sharon..
We did have a few bumps along the way, however all issues were faced with empathy and professionalism. We went through a rollercoaster of emotion... we even nearly changed to another estate agent, but are so GLAD we didn’t. On the day of completion we were so pleased we were able to share the experience with those who had worked so hard to help get us there.
We thank God we chose the team at Urban & Rural.
We especially have to thank GLEN who spent hours of his time, even personal time listening to our worries and concerns - we certainly shared a lot of laughter through it all and we couldn’t think of anyone else we should have shared the experience with... he has become more of a friend after all we went through together!
A big shout out to all of the team is deserved so here’s to you:
Glen, Gareth, Sharon, Melanie (her voice always makes you Smile!), Sue, Sam and David.
We Most Certainly Recommend the Urban & Rural Bedford Team!
Our property was sold within the first couple of days, at the asking price. Other estate agents under valued our property and didn't seem as enthusiastic as Urban and Rural.
Throughout the sale Caroline kept us and our buyers up to date and helped with our purchase of another property.
Couldn't have asked for a better agent. Thank you!
not moved house for37 years,so we're completely ignorant of up to date
procedures. All of the team were friendly and helpful.good cmpentent
A year ago I was a first time buyer, the property I viewed and fell in love with was for sale with Urban & Rural.
Steven from the Milton Keynes branch was outstanding and really earned his money! He was very efficient, courteous, and gave a superfast response to any emails and calls. He worked really hard to push the sale along in it's final stages and was very patient with the constant chasing from all parties towards the end.
The recommended mortgage broker (Mortgage Choice) was also excellent, a seamless process and Dave was very knowledgeable which was reassuring. Unfortunately the solicitors were a complete contrast to Urban & Rural and were almost totally uncommunicative, in the main they ignored emails (which were concise and relevant) and most updates on the progress of the sale/purchase came from the estate agent rather than the solicitor.
They say that buying a house is one of the most stressful experiences and I'd agree with that... if it hadn't been for Steven communicating where the solicitors failed to then it would have been a whole lot worse! I've been in my new home for a year now and have finally got round to writing this review. In a nutshell I would wholeheartedly recommend Urban & Rural to anybody looking to sell or buy in Milton Keynes.
with an exceptional customer service. They gave great honest advice on the housing market and advised on different matters to help with my sale. They have kept me up to date with the progress of my house sale.
Duncan and his team have been brilliant yet again and I would highly recommend them.
The first company did not get any of the details or even the floor plan correct the second company were incompetent and their people told lies to cover their mistakes.
Now were come to Urban & Rural, a truly professional local company who did an excellent and cost effective job marketing my property nothing was too much trouble, they were excellent.
Once an offer had been made they followed the sale through right to the point of completion, highly recommended they are a AAA company.
They are patient ,understanding efficient and make .you feel you are a valuable customer
Best of all there is no high pressure sales pitch
Many thanks.
Thank you,
first time buyers- Flitwick Beds

It would have been a 5 but for the 1% charge, I personally think it is expensive especially when you have the internet estate agents charging a lot less. I know I have a choice,I guessing this is an industry standard but when you consider the value of property's currently, it is hard to justify £4-5k
