I have recently built an environmental home, and the Sanden Eco hot water heat pump, ticked all the boxes. Alex Brown was excellent, and very patient, as my home took longer than anticipated to build. The final result is great. Alex and the company have been a dream to deal with, and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

My solar water tank with back up gas booster suddenly stopped working, after calling a plumber he said it was most likely the pump which was failing. I called the manufacturer who said that a technician would call me the same day to book a time to repair it. I am still yet to hear from this technician. I phoned UrEco desperate for someone to help fix my hot water system and was connected with Alex Brown Technical Manager. Alex asked me a few questions about the system to do some checks so he could ascertain what the problem was before sending a technician out for no reason. Alex was so friendly and polite and extremely knowledgeable, the problem with my hot water system was that the power had tripped turning off the power supply to the solar tank and back up gas booster which meant there was no hot water. Alex solved my problem without me needing to pay for labour or replacement parts. Outstanding Customer Service is hard to find these days and Alex went above and beyond to help fix my hot water system. I would be out of pocket and still waiting for the technician if I hadn't given UrEco a call. Highly recommend a call to them first for any problems you may have. Thanks again Alex.

I bought my heat pump from Ureco in June 2017 and was very satisfied with the sales and installation by them. The unit has functioned well, mainly runs for free off my solar power, and saves me $100- $150 a month in gas bills. I would add a few words of caution to this glowing report. During two recent bouts of very hot weather, (40C+) when the unit was running in conjunction with a Legionnaires Cycle (65C so hotter than the normal cycle) it faulted. The faults were different each time (E10 and E04), but I understand both faults were related to heat censors. On the most recent visit the technician also replaced the heating element, which was badly affected by scale build-up, apparently due to hard water. My understanding was that tanks like this have a sacrificial anode to prevent these sort of problems, so I was surprised by how badly the element had been affected, as the unit is not yet 2 years old. Other negatives are a failure of the unit to alert (flashing light/sound) when it faulted, so I didn't discover the problems until the water ran cool. A fault message does flash on the menu display, but that is concealed behind a cover. This cover is also awkward to open/close, and the menu itself is not easy to use. If you buy the unit with the built in fan, be aware it can be noisy, though there is a menu option that reduces the noise levels. Having said all that, I would have no problems recommending Ureco, or the installation of a heat pump. The service technicians were great, though dealing with Bosch is awkward for West Australians with their service centre keeping Eastern Standard Time. I'm not sure I would go with a Bosch heat pump again or not, as faulting in hot temps is not an ideal feature for West Australians. Then again this could be a problem related to all heat pumps and I've only had 2 problems in nearly 2 years, apart from which the unit has performed exactly as I expected it to. The unit is sited on the South side of the house, so direct sun exposure is minimised. And just to put this in perspective - my solar power also conked out in the hot weather!!

We have had our Sanden Heat Pump hot water system for about 3 years now and are delighted with how it (almost silently) goes about the business of transferring heat energy to the tank from the outside air on even the coldest Perth day!
Last month however, we noticed a small leak from the tank outlet which had started to corrode the outer tank liner and saturate the insulation. Luckily, the tank has a 10 year warranty on the tank and was replaced with no fuss.

My tank failed at the weekend and Alex from Ureco were able to book a new installation by Tuesday, which was amazing! The installation team were prompt, courteous and installed the new system without a hiccup. The old tank and rubbish was taken away as part of the service and the area left clean, great work guys!

While he was at it, he replaced the connection of the stove to the wall which had been poorly done, allowing me to clean behind my stove for the first time since moving in. And I was charged a price that I am certain barely covers the cost.

So in every step of the way Ureco went above and beyond their responsibility and saved me a lot of money, headache and possibly some lives. I can’t recommend them enough.

Called these guys regarding an Edwards solar hot water booster issue on one of my rental properties in Perth. Their team liaised with my tenant and went out same day to replace what turned out to be a faulty element. This purchase was about planning for the future.The Australian made tank and Japanese heat pump seemed the best choice for longevity.The Plumber and electrician were excellent,as pictured the unit looks good and was neatly hooked into existing supply and discharge lines.

We had a new closed solar hot water system installed, to replace the Conergy system that fell apart after only 7 years. The price was right, the installation went really smooth and was communicated very well. Had a slight leak after installation but that was fixed the next day without a fuss.
The system seems to give work better than the Conergy, hotter water and better flow.
Time will tell but the first impression is great!

Our old heat pump died after 8 years, never being very good to start with (noisy and much more expensive to run than we were told). Being winter time, I was not happy about no hot water, and given the cost of running the heat pump thought I'd get quotes on gas. UrEco provided one of the best quotes on a gas setup, but I was also told the new Bosch heat pumps were very efficient. Alex provided all of the options and the pros and cons, and given the cheaper cost of just swapping out the system, I decided to go ahead.
The heat pump was installed the next day, which was very much appreciated given that cold showers are not pleasant that time of year! The cost was competitive, the installers respectful of my house and garden, and they took all of the bits and pieces (including the old heat pump) away with them.

My solar hot water failed on weekend, i send an enquiry off and got a text from Alex over the weekend. very prompt, he followed up and gave honest and good advice. Was installed on Tuesday ( could have been Monday if i had responded earlier) and works great.

We had an Apricus Solar Hot Water system installed one year ago and it has been totally trouble free and economical, only requiring the gas booster for a couple of months in winter. The team were efficient, reliable and very friendly with the installation and Alex provided excellent after sales service recently, when we had a power problem that wasn't even the fault of the hot water system. I highly recommend UrEco.

Work was completed on Wednesday, after accepting the job on Monday. Was not given the money back guarantee for waiting several days (even though I had requested it). Was without water for 2 days, and despite myself and partner both saying multiple times we had no water, there was no rush placed on the job. No preliminary examination was done, so I found out they decided to charge me for a burst pipe that was the problem all along, AFTER installing and charging me several thousand dollars for the hot water system.

Hot water system works fine, no issues with the actual system. Install is clean and functional.

Alex and his team were so very helpful. My Mum's hot water system had died that morning. I'd checked Choice Magazine online for a recommendation and came away with a heat pump as the best, most economical and also environmentally friendly appliance I could purchase. A heat pump ticked all the boxes. I then went online to obtain quotes. I received five quotes, and out of all of them, UrEco was not only economical, but they were up front about everything.
The following are the reasons why I selected UrEco, and what I liked about the company.
Accepting of my Mums circumstances; allowing for me to be the intermediary, I live in the country, Mum isn't great with organising things anymore. So everything had to be done via phone and email.
They readily accepted payment for the deposit prior to install via direct credit (I paid via bsb which was my preferred method; however they also allow credit card or cheque payment).
Payment in full was made the evening the installation was completed.
The swiftness with which the installation was made.
How accommodating the company was on the install. I didn't expect to be able to have one installed so swiftly. Mum had hot water the next day.

On time, on budget, the site was left in a spotless condition, and nothing was too much trouble. The gentleman that attended the installation went out of his way to explain to my Mum how the system worked and completely put her mind at ease (a feat in itself these days), he was patient with her repetitive questions and never lost his patience once. My commendation to him - I am very grateful.
