The NFL game I purchased tickets for was canceled. I replied one day after the notice of cancellation to request a cash refund. After not hearing a reply I followed up only to be told I was outside of the 7 allotted days. I have shared the original email reply that is date and time stamped but still cannot find resolution. This was the only communication with instructions on requesting a refund I received. Vivid is adamant that I was not with in the 7 days even though my original email shows different. In a time of economic hardship it would be nice if a business would honor their word.

After spending $188.00 for Detroit Tigers spring training game, the season was canceled. I returned my 3 tickets to Vivid as requested. I opted for a refund/credit. They then send out a confusing email about store credit and if you didn't read the whole thing or didn't see the fine print, you don't get a refund. In my case I didn't even see the follow up email. Either way, they will keep your money. DON'T EVER DO BUSINESS WITH VIVID SEATS!

I had bought 2 tickets to a concert which was cancelled. Here in the NJ area we were hot with Vovid 19 very hard. When o heard the concert was cancelled I expected my money to be automatically refunded but got nothing! I gave it some time but still nothing. In the meantime I had an email from them in my spam folder. I called immediately and they told me it was to late so no refund only credit. There r no upcoming concerts in this area for a long time. I called and the representative ManJoy was not only rude but condescending. It's hard times here in NJ many out of work for almost 3 months and as a single mom I could have used the $$ Other resale companies like Seat Geek r much better Beware if u use Vivid Seats!

Today, I purchased tickets for the first time with Vivid Seats & it was a positive experience. The best part about my experience was working with customer service representative Michael G. He was knowledgeable & spoke from experience, which always makes me feel better. He ended the conversation with well wishes & kind words. As a result, I'm excited about attending my event!

My event was cancelled due to Covid-19, so I sent an e-mail the day after it was cancelled trying to get my refund. This email was ignored, and then a month down the road, they sent an email saying I had 7 days to contact them for the refund. This message was sent to my junk folder and wasn't seen in time, so now they keep my money and give me less than a year to spend my "reward loyalty credit." I called customer service, and their response was "we sent an e-mail and you did not respond." Then when I pressed further, they said "I have handled this issue." They were very rude and have essentially stolen my $400.

The tournament played the first day, the rest of the games were canceled. They sent a email that stated if you want 100% refund do nothing and it would be refunded in 2 to 4 weeks. Simple! Called to check on my refund and they said they sent another email on April 15 stating you had 7 days to contact them for a full refund or you would get Credit. I talked to CS and they said that is there policy. Very poor business stuck with getting my last tickets from these Thieves!

I received an email telling me to respond within 7 days to get a full refund for the Spring Training game that I bought tickets to. I called into their customer service and was told I would have my money within a couple of weeks. Nothing. I called into customer service again and they said they sent another email saying the same thing, respond within 7 days or it would become a credit. I followed the customer services direction from the first call that I would receive my refund and that no further action was required. They are telling me that I will only get credit now. They were never planning to refund me at all. I will never use this company again!

Don't EVER use this company to get tickets! They will screw the hell out of you! Due to Covid the event I was to attend was cancelled. I have asked for my credit card to be refunded and I got screwed. They give you 7 days (I'm within 7 days of the event) and they are forcing me into their "Rewards" program. I called Vivid Seats and the robot asked if you would like to "live chat" I thought that might be easier so tried that. Don't waste your time it's just a robot too! I called and it took me at the very least 7 times to reach a representative press this number then that number but no option to discuss a refund so I pushed 0 until I got through to a human. After the discussion and her regretfully having to tell me I wasn't getting a cash refund and being forced into their "Rewards" program I asked to speak to her supervisor. She talked over me, told me her Supervisor is not taking calls (shocker) then she proceeded to hang up on me. I also bought tickets through Ticketmaster which event was also canceled and had no issues being fully refunded! Due to Covid and other life events I am need of this refund. SCAM SCAM SCAM!

The May show I had tickets to canceled due to Covid and was rescheduled for almost a year and a half later in Oct 2021. Vivid refused to refund the tickets I paid for with my credit card plus 100+ credit I had with them. I filed a dispute with my credit card company which got back the money I paid but Vivid refused to return my $100 credit I had from a previous issue with them. I had to fight for what was right and then they stole my $100. I deleted their worthless app, unsubscribed from future emails, and still receive emails so I will report it as spam. I will NEVER use them again and I recommend nobody else does either.

VIVID seats as a lot of hidin prices. I bought 3 tickets starting at 115$ and it ended up costing me 1000$. I tried to get my money back but no one was willing to help me, they just kept on transfering me.

I will NEVER buy from them again and I discourage you as well

I purchased tickets (2) and after it asked about parking the parking section asked how many tickets me thinking it's asking how many tickets did I just purchase. Which was 2! As I checked out it charged me for two parking tickets. That section is not clear at all it should ask how many parking tickets quantity well I chatted with a agent Adam and he didn't show any empathy he was rude and told me he can't do anything! I'll stick to Ticketmaster cove seats suck! Now I wasted $100 extra dollars!

Needed group hockey tickets and wanted some rewards/discounts for spending over grand. A promotional advertisement to use the Vivid Seats Mobile App drove me to try out Vivid Seats. Tried to use it to purchase tickets and kept getting "Billing Address Error." Tried multiple times throughout the day and even had a customer service rep from my credit card company on the line at one point who eventually told me the issue was with Vivid Seats. Customer service at Vivid Seats was great (Monique). Very friendly/helpful. They helped me purchase the tickets and I was able to use my 10% off code (after emailing it to them). However, because the purchase was over the phone I did not qualify for the promotional rewards for using the mobile app which was I went with Vivid Seats in the first place... I got an email to complete a survey afterwards for $20 and the submission link isn't working for that either (on iphone or mac with java/flash allowed). Lots of time wasted and very frustrating experience.

BUYER BEWARE!!!

This place is a joke. Do not purchase tickets from this site. I had purchased tickets for a concert that was cancelled due to Covid. I finally received a reschedule email and it's been rescheduled for two years after the original date and it's during the week, which I can't attend.

I've have tried every means possible to get someone on the phone and all I get is thrown into a maze of choosing options that have nothing to do with what I need assistance with.

Do not purchase from Vividseats! I purchased ticket for front row! Paid 487.00. They sent ticket for back row! Told me it was my mistake and would not correct! It was not possible to pay for one row and get put on another! I clicked the box that contained red zone/front row with the price included! Buyer beware!

I bought tickets at the beginning of the year thinking I was going to an event I purchased but then it was canceled and I got an email from vivid seats and at the very bottom said to call within 7 days. For one I didn’t see it because it wasn’t meant to see and two if I did see it I couldn’t get through because the phone lines were always busy. I just want my money back.

I have requested my full refund after waiting on hold for an hour and thirty minutes. I was told because I missed 7 days after I got a misleading cancellation email I can not get my full refund. It was exactly 13 days when I called from that email since I got another email saying I had a credit under my account. Filed a complaint and they simply replied with the email they sent me originally. This event was for a comedy show in which I do not go to concerts and just wanting my hard earned money back. If they do not fix this I will continue to report them and please DON'T EVER USE THEM.

Same story as many above. They took my money for the KY Derby and they won't refund me. They want me to use the $6K as credit! That might take years. They are also saying I was supposed to ask for my refund within 7 days, but I did ask... they just didn't respond.

Vivid only gives refunds if the event is cancelled... our event was "rescheduled" an entire one year from now. Would not consider issuing a refund even though the date was not going to work. Ticketmaster on the other hand was very compliant with issuing refunds. No more Vivid here...

Vivid Seats refused to honor their cancelled refund events policy and I had to report them to Chicago AG office. Only after waiting for 2 months did they refund my $990. Do not use them.

I would not recommend purchasing tickets from vivid seats. We had tickets to a Hamilton showing earlier this year but it got canceled due to covid. We thought we were getting an automatic refund but it turns out that it’s a 110% credit to use for a future event. However, instead of the 110% credit that didn’t expire, they changed it to 100% credit that must be used by January. We’ve tried to reach out to their support multiple times regarding this issue with no response.
