Very happy with sound quality through JustBoom DAC + R-Pi3. Volumio web player works fine on legacy iPad and old Android phone. I would have appreciated a decent help guide to connect my Linux PC as a music server. This took many hours on Google and much trial and error.

Great potential but my Volumio Primo was great for about 12 hours but then in burnt out two dacs and I had to ship it back. Still waiting for word, not sure if I want them to return another unit or just refund my money.

Nice player, like the interface. Setup with Pi 4b. My music is on USB. It has been lost once. After several restarts it found it. I had seen that this is an kmown issue. I want to put the music on 32 gig sd card but my netwot does not shoe it.

I had to move on from Volumio as I could not get the application to consistently work with my system. I submitted several emails to the team and Michelangelo himself responded apologizing for the issues I was experiencing with the drop out of my hard drive / library and the player not able to play anything and promised me that a future version would address my concerns. I have since loaded MOode and all is working great. I will continue to stay connected to your team and product as well and I did donate $$ prior to experiencing these issues. It is too bad as the Volumio UI appears to be top notch and worth the price of admission to My Volumio

Volumio it's a very nice audio player which has a lot of improvements during from the first version. It means that the people behind software develop this application and adapt according to the requirements of the time. I am excited with VOLUMIO!

After having tested multiple configurations ( NAS + Dac only, Windows Mini pc + NAS + Dac, ...) I've just discovered Volumio (Rpi4 + NAS + Dac). This last configuration is definitively an excellent hi res player offering good sound quality and really flexible!

Volumio is very easy to set up, although a little work was involved in getting it accessing music from my Synology NAS. The player interface works from every browser I've tried and is very responsive. The mobile app is very similar to the web page and not really necessary, but I purchased it anyway to support development. Some areas of Volumio need polish: 1. it really needs better sorting options (albums, etc), 2. I'd like to have the option to hide 'My Volumio' from the main menu, 3. embedded album artwork is not supported, so you need to add cover.jpg files to every album folder. Overall I am very happy with Volumio and would recommend it to those who want a simple-to-use digital source/streamer.

Hi there, I am really happy wit my volumio peimo. the sound s fantastic ,I am only usng the digital out line for the moment. I have compered it to ot her similar price devices and my primo s muh better in sound, sound stage, clarity and musicalitt,needless to say the abundance of options (like networking) the set up is very simple even for myself that is not goodd in computation. extremely happy and looking forward to explore the multiple options.

best streaming player with the best price... occasionally hang/freeze or sometimes corrupt data... so just need to reflash it again... would be good if can sort it by track number... other than alphabets..

I used Volumio for a while, but ran into trouble with linking my network drive and had other stability issues. Reinstalling Volumio did not work, and I am now using another music player which does not give me any issues at all.

Great potential, loved functionality but problems developed with my Primo. Was worried being in the US but have learned that Volumio has customer service at their core. Worked through a workable outcome.

Very good sound with raspberry pi and hifiberry amp2. The radio is a disappointment. Many local stations don't work and the same is true of of many of the other stations. I was counting on my local radio stations. Software is a bit clunky. But if your interest is getting good sound from your ripped CDs, this is the way to go. And for a free software program, this is much appreciated and very good.
