Walk across Scotland responded to our request to arrange our walking holiday with our dog for a week, Ross listened to our requirements and the distances we wanted to walk and planned an excellent route and suitable b & b’s.

All the accommodation was of a high standard and really welcomed us and our dog murphy

We walked the West Highlands Trail for 8 days with Walk Across Scotland arranging for the baggage transfer service each day and to book our accommodation. Everything went off without a hitch which allowed us to focus on the walk and enjoy the beautiful Scottish Highlands. All the B&Bs and pubs that we stayed in were hospitable and were much appreciated at the end of each day's walk.

Ross from Walk Across Scotland was helpful, efficient and friendly. He took care to develop an itinerary that suited our abilities and wishes. We were forced to make an unplanned change to our itinerary and Ross accommodated this with good humour and without difficulty. At one stage, Ross heard that we had received poor service from one of the taxi companies and immediately contacted us for details so that he could follow it up. All the accommodations were good, many were excellent and the transfers all worked well (with one exception noted above). We had a memorable two week walk across the Southern Upland Way with all the practicalities taken care of by WAS. We highly recommend Ross and his company.

Ross at WAS organized everything for our 7 day walk from Drymen to Pitlochry on the Rob Roy Way. We had great walking directions and map along with superb accommodations along the way. From the moment I made contact with Ross to the last detail he was professional and very helpful. He basically took the planning out of my hands, which I desired and provide us with a smooth and enjoyable walking experience. Each one of our B&B’s provided a unique experience and comfortable accommodations with a hardy breakfast.

Ross with walk across Scotland is great! Goes out of his way to plan your trip with your specific needs in mind. We were very nervous our first long walk, The great Glenway and some of the distances days he broke them down with transfers as we needed. We just booked a second long walk with Ross and look forward to the Rob Roy way.

This trip was the second one I booked with WAS, and all of the booking process was handled professionally and efficiently. Thanks to WAS's excellent work, I was able to relax on my holiday in the knowledge that everything would run smoothly. I plan to book another trip with WAS for next year.

Other than a minor hiccup on day one evrything went as planned.
The directions to the accomodation were excellent.
All the b&b's were good or very good, with one exception.

I would not hesitate to use them again.
