My power supply shorted out on my TIVO box and I didn't know where to turn for help. I Googled "fix tivo" and www.weaKnees.com" was the first choice. Just want to thank you all for shipping the new Tivo HD to me in Calgary, AB, Canada so fast. It arrived within a day and was unpacked as fast as a present on christmas. It is up and working great with the current 6 or so SD and 2 HD channels that I receive OTA here.

When my Tivo series 3 started to act up, I had to decide: 1)buy a blank drive and copy the Tivo software over 2) buy a blank drive and a CD with the tivo software 3) buy a drive with the software preloaded.

Since time is precious to me, I bought a 1TB HD from Weakknees with the Tivo software preloaded. From opening the package to plugging in the Tivo was 30 minutes (even with my 3 year old "helping"). Everything was included in the package (sizes 10 and 15 torx wrenches, drive and instructions.) I was very happy with my purchase.

For some reason the drive in my Tivo HD died after less than two years. Bought a 500 gig WD drive that arrived in 2 days. Installed in less than an hour. After guided setup, the Tivo update took a few hours and I was running that evening.

Very easy install. A great recovery option from an otherwise catastrophic failure. Plus, now I've got over 3 times more storage space.

My Series 2 TIVO recently stopped displaying video, and the light on the front didn't come on, but the fan turned. I have lifetime service on it. I was pretty sure I was going to have to chuck it, along with the programs stored on the hard drive AND the lifetime service. Then a friend told me about WeaKnees. I looked around their site, decided that maybe my power supply had died, and ordered one from them. It arrived in a couple of days, was even BETTER than the one I had picked out, and I was able to install it myself in about a half hour - and 15 minutes of THAT was trying to find the compressed air to blow out the dust bunnies! Voila, I fixed my TIVO, and saved my lifetime service (not to mention the Dodgers game where my friends were caught singing during the 7th inning stretch) - thanks to WeaKnees, and their terrific website! I am so grateful to them. I would never have thought it was that easy. My boyfriend was amazed - he was sure it was toast. Weaknees really provides a great service. I just installed a Weaknees HD in my 3 year old Series 2 TiVo. My old hard drive bit the dust projecting only a fatal “Green Screen”. Once I opened the new HD box it took me less than half an hour to install the new HD and put my TiVo back in service. The instructions were clear and made the entire job a piece of cake. My Tivo started going crazy on a Sunday morning. I googled "Tivo Repair", and emailed the resulting companies. I was suprised to get a response from Weaknees about 30 min. later, with a diagnoses of a failing hard drive. The others took 2 or 3 days, and just said "send it in, and we'll fix it". I ordered a replacement hard drive,which arrived quickly,and had the old one replaced in 15 min. I hooked it back up, and the unit is working like new. I have 2 other Tivo's that I plan to upgrade through Weaknees.

I have been dealing with Weaknees for about 8 years now. They are absolutely the best I have found for Tivo parts and Hard Drive upgrades. I have had hard drives go bad and ordered items that did not work for me and everytime, they took care of me quickly and with the utmost professionalism.

I have a TIVO with lifetime service that I didn't want to throw away when it got annoyingly noisey. I bought a new drive and fan. 20 minutes after opening the box, my TIVO was downloading programming information, quietly. Thanks Weaknees for fast service and easy install.

I called and asked for help deciding what I needed to order after my Tivo started rebooting multiple times a day. The replacement drives arrived and I was able to quickly, and perfectly fix my Tivo using the enclosed instructions. Just be sure to have compressed air to clean out the dust these accumulate! Great products and great assistance.

Installed my replacement power supply in ten minutes and my TiVo is alive now. I was reluctant to put $75 into a six-year old piece of electronics but your customer service rep reminded me that buying a new box would cost me much, much, more than that to get my lifetime service back!

I purchased a new hard drive to fix a TIVO unit that was stuck on the welcome screen. Installation was a breeze and the unit now works perfectly. Since I still have my lifetime subscription to TIVO, this was a lifesaver. The service and support and answering of multiple questions, even before I made the purchase, was outstanding. I am delighted with Weaknees hard drive and clear installation instructions which took about 30 min. I doubled my TiVo capacity for less than a refurbished unit of same capacity. I expected to have costly shipping to send my failed TiVoHD back for repair or replacement with a refurbished unit, but your specialist convinced me I most likely only needed to replace the drive. He was right and arranged cheap USPS shipping to Hawaii for me. I had the brand new drive in a few days and am now back in service with my TiVo at lower cost & double the capacity. Thanks, Ray

I have been having problems with my Series 3 TIVO with lifetime subscription for a while. Response to remote control commands was slow and getting slower. At Weakness suggestion I swapped out the hard drive. Easy and clear instructions to do it myself. A little glitch with Comcast rebinding Cablecards but now working as good as new. I am a very satisfied customer.

I have dealt with Weaknees before.... hard drives upgrades, etc, but this is the 1st time they helped with a repair... Have the old HR10... no pix, no sound, and a message about "overheating".... I emailed and immediately got an offer to either fix, but telling me it was proabably a Power board. SO, $70 + 2 days to deliver + 10 minutes to install and; BINGO: All is well!.. Received my TIVO upgrade hard drive today from Weaknees for my TIVO Series 2. Took all of ten minutes to install. Clear instructions and all the necessary tools were included. I will admit it took me longer to find my network password (necessary on TIVO startup). But after that everything started up like a charm. I highly recommend the Weaknees TIVO kit.
