Alloy Wheels Steel Wheels Center Caps

I placed my order with Wheels And Caps first... and then read the reviews. I saw lots of negative feedback, so I was nervous. But I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt; I'm glad I did. I placed an order for a replacement rim for my 2003 Subaru on a Tuesday afternoon. It arrived on my doorstep Friday morning. I had it mounted at the local garage for $25 without any problems. Granted, a lot of the negative feedback has to do with their customer service department, which I did not need to deal with. But my individual experience was just fine, the order arrived quickly and correctly, the price was reasonable. I can't ask for more.

I bought a 2004 Acura TL replica rim. Long story short it rubs my calipers when installed in the front. To make it worse they got me chasing my tail. They were not interested in owning up to selling me a rim that does not fit. Spent 30 min on the phone with them.... it was pointless. Somehow they kept making it into my fault.

Not sure why all the negative reviews but received just what I ordered and got here in 4 1/2 days. No issues with receiving receipt and shipping info. Great service and will do business in the future.

I ordered 4 20 inch alloy wheels. They were delivered in a few days and free shipping. The website said that the factory center caps and lugs would fit. They do not, had to by 24 lugs at five bucks apiece and the center caps will not fit. They do not carry a center cap for this wheel. One of the salesmen said that www.centercaps.net could supply me with caps. They cannot. Now I have four great looking wheels with new rubber and ugly holes in the middle. Frustrating that: first they say the factory caps will fit, but they don't. Second they say that another outfitter has caps, but they don't.

After reading all the negative reviews, I took a chance after seeing the great price on a rim for my 2012 Tacoma. I received the rim in 4 days with free shipping. The rim was package with protective rapping and a nice heavy duty box with handles! Upon opening the box I discovered the correct rim that appeared to be New versus reconditioned. I will be buying again from Wheels and Caps!!!!

I ordered a front rim for my 335i. Front rims are 18x8 and rear rims are 18x8.5. The first rim was the wrong size. Was actually a rear rim. Work with their return people and tell them I want a replacement. But I asked them to make sure to measure it before it left the warehouse. They responded they measured and it had shipped. What did I get today. The wrong **** size

I placed an order on 4-11 on 4-12 the money was removed from my account within 2 hours of removing the money from my account they emailed and said that the wheels were not instock, tho the website said they were. Now they are telling me they cannot process the refund until 4-14 so that means another week waiting to get my $700 back. Never do business with this company they are crooks!!

I was looking to purchase 1 wheel rim for my Volvo. The website said they had the rim in stock. Just for giggles I updated the quantity to 5 rims. The website said they did not have 5 rims. So before I placed my order for the 1 rum, I decided to call Wheels and Caps. I gave them the part number to verify the rim was in stock. It was not. So I asked Amber would they be ordering the rim. She said "no" with the attitude that she could care less. I wonder what would have happened if I had consummated the deal and sent them my credit card. I'm so glad I avoided the headache of trying to get my money back.

I needed a rim for my 2001 bmw. I placed the order on a Monday and by the time I received the tracking number via email, the package was already delivered! Rim was installed and good to go the next day.

Ordered a 4x2 steel wheel, they shipped a 4x4 wheel. Not knowing it was a 4x4 wheel while painting it black my mechanic friend informed me it wouldn't fit, they shipped the wrong wheel. Never mounted a tire on it or used it. They sent me they're "policy". **** ... they made the mistake not me. But they refuse to correct it. DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE IDIOTS.

I placed an order this weekend. I did not receive an email confirmation so I followed up on the order this morning. The customer service rep was very rude. I repeated the confirmation # that was on the order screen, he came back to the phone and said, "I don't know where you got that # from but it isn't your order #!" He proceeded to give me what I guess is the correct order #. When I commented on not receiving an email, his response was, "Of course not, there was nothing to confirm. We aren't here 24/7".
This was my 1st and probably last order with Wheels & Caps. There was no excuse for the attitude that I received this morning.

On March 15, 2010, I ordered 4 steel wheels to mount snow tires on my Mini Cooper S. The order was confirmed, but 3 days later I received an email saying WAC was having trouble locating the wheels. My CC was not charged and I had the option to cancel (I didn't), both good policies. On April 1, I emailed to check the status, but WAC couldn't even find my order. Once that was clarified, they apparently did a new search, again confirming they couldn't locate the items, and couldn't give an estimate of when they might be able to ship. I cancelled the order.

Now, here are my problems with WAC: (1) on April 1, after 2 weeks of trying to locate my wheels, WAC was still showing these wheels as available in their online catalog, and (2) although their online catalog suggests the wheels are NEW, in fact they are RECONDITIONED. Guess that's why they're cheap but hard to find: not enough Minis being junked.

So I give +2 stars for not charging my CC and for cancelling w/o complaint, but -3 stars for poor tracking of open orders and for false online advertising.

BTW, turns out my Mini dealer can sell me factory NEW wheels. Sure, they're more expensive, but not THAT much more, and did I mention they're NEW. Plus, I can pick them up and avoid shipping costs (OK, WAC was also offering free shipping on sets of 4 wheels, BUT THEY HAVE TO HAVE THE WHEELS FIRST!).

Purchased 4 Rims, received 3. The 4th was lost at a UPS depot due to a Missing label. Contacted CSR (Twice) and was told that they could not ship a replacement, due to being OUT of stock !? SO, I can't replace the studded snows with my summer tires Untill I can find another matching rim !? WON'T shop here again, Multiple shipments from different wherehouses, Errors in labeling, Slow response from 1st contact, caused unwanted problems, I'll take my three and RUN !!!
