WG Topsham team, led by Joel and Laura have now completed the second sale for us. They have seen us through a complex series of sales, leading to the conclusion needed by my family. Competent, organised, experienced, sensitive and great communicators - we would recommend this team to anyone thinking of selling.

I was in contact with their negotiator, Guy Wadsworth. I have dealt with many negotiators over the years, but Guy was exceptional. The deal would not have happened without him. The buyer (me) and the seller had a true intermediary, with charm, intelligence and eloquence, that brought us together.

I have dealt with multiple members of the team between initially getting a letter detailing my property’s rental potential to now receiving inspection reports and updates. Each person has been professional, knowledgeable and helpful.
Being a new landlord I had plenty of questions and it has always been easy to get an answer.
These things have left me feeling that the management of my property is definitely in safe hands!

It was disappointing that a deadline was set by WG for completion which didn't seem to be communicated to the vendor or the vendor's solicitors. I had to chase WG on several occasions to get momentum on that timeframe. I felt there was more enthusiasm to get a deal secured than see it through to completion and my concerns about the delay weren't taken seriously when I raised it by telephone.

I was very happy with Wilkinson Grant when they first took over the marketing of my house. Some very good photographs were taken and marketing went well wit a lot of interest. Unfortunately because a previous interested buyer came back to me via my previous agent things went very quiet. When that sale fell through after six months, again WG marketed my house well. I was frequently contacted by Karen and others in the office for viewing appointments and Jeremy Sharpe also. When a sale was eventually secured I heard nothing at all from Jeremy and very little from Karen. However because matters slowed slightly whilst my purchase caught up with my sale process I was contacted by Karen who I felt was less than pleasant and in fact I did suggest to her that she should not threaten me, as I was told that if I did not exchange and complete more quickly my buyers would withdraw from the sale. I was acting on the advice of my solicitor to not break the chain hence the slightly additional delay. I was advised that the Munro’s had moved into very expensive short term rental accommodation but in actual fact had moved back to Mr Munro’s parents home. I did not appreciate the comment especially as I believed I was WG’s client. However matters did complete satisfactorily and I will not be going through this extremely traumatic process anytime soon.

We are delighted with the service offered from the letting department at Wilkinson Grant & Company during the 2 years we have been in contact with them.

We experienced several instances of frankly just the wrong information being sent to us over the course of two years. This started when we were shown round our rental property to start with (the member of staff in question clearly didn't know the answers to most of our questions so took the favoured route of many letting agents... lying!) and the situation never really improved all that much, with us constantly having to query emails to eventually get the correct information. A real pity as our landlords were amazing, I feel for them that their agents are letting them down so badly.

I would like to thank Gemma and the team for a Painless first experience of buying a house, They are a very efficient, professional company, with a personal touch. I would definitely recommend WG&C to anyone.
