After decades of travel and several policies with Worldcare, I recently made my first insurance claim. It was a significant amount as we had to cancel a cruise in the Baltic due to an injury. The process with Worldcare/ Allianz was very simple; communication with my case manager was excellent and the few additional information requests they made were justified. Payment was made very quickly and I could not be happier. Quite an unusual feeling about insurers!

Have used Worldcare several times now. Their whole approach to making insurance easy is tops for me. fortunately have not had to make a claim and fingers crossed I never have to.
Will definitely be using the. In the future.

I waited at the airport for 7 hours for Jetstar to cancel my flight and was only offered an unreasonable alternative the following day. I am out of pocket for lost accommodation, carport parking and connecting flights.
I put my claim in promptly and 10 days later asked for proof of flight cancellation by your company. I provided that and another two weeks have gone by for you to advise that you wont payout if a there is a mechanical flight breakdown.
That is appalling. I would say I have taken out at least 10 policies with Worldcare Travel and the only time I have had to make a legitimate claim you have dug up some fine print on page 53 saying you wont cover if there is mechanical breakdown. What a joke. If I was robbed and put in hospital you probably have some fine print for that as well.

I travelled to Europe and the USA in April 2018 and now in August 2019 wanted to do another round the world trip. My insurer of last year wanted to increase my premium five fold. As I had made no claim previously nor had anything other than my age increased by a year I declined to proceed. World care were the best balanced alternative in value for what I needed.

I have used Worldcare Travel Insurance three times. So far no claims made. Easy to set up for traveller with existing medical conditions. Good value and will use them again..

I had a good trip should have made a claim for travel as I had to come home early due to family member hospital admission paid extra cost of flight changes with thai airline and very big change to virgin price for flight change.

I have a complicated health history and have used Worldcare for several years now. I have always received excellent service every time i call for cover. I also like the little ‘welcome home’ touch.

We've used Worldcare on many trips, the first being 6 years ago when we spent 10 months travelling. The primary reason we chose Worldcare then, was because of the small print in the T&Cs - they had by far the best, all of the cheaper insurers had wording that obviously gave them ways out (which is clearly how they manage to be cheaper!). On that trip we made a couple of claims without any dispute at all; now on our most recent trip, we made a claim and it was approved within 24 hours, without a question. In my view, this is far more important than saving a couple of bucks on the initial premium. Heaven forbid a much worse situation came up that required a claim, you wouldn't want to be with a cheaper insurer.
We'll continue to use Worldcare without even bothering to get quotes from others.

I am happy with the insurance I got although I had to cut my trip down, I would use Worldcare Travel Insurance again for my next overseas trip as it was the most economical and comprehensive insurance. I cannot rate the insurance as I did not require to make a claim however, I would welcome another survey if I did have to make a claim.

Our first time with Worldcare them again. Very easy to organise online and a fair premium. We had no claims so we are not able to comment on claims experience

I have used this insurance twice and It was very easy to apply, Fortunately no claims were needed but I feel confident with this insurer and will use them again. I have received no reward for this review but would like a discount on my next cover. Thank you.

We needed an extension to our travel insurance policy which we had taken out prior to leaving Australia and we could only do it on the day our original travel insurance expired which was stressful waiting to call from Europe on that day particularly because of the time difference.

It cost us a whooping $264 for 10 days in Europe and our excess was $200! Luckily for us we didn't need to make a claim but as we had no other option for travel insurance as we were already overseas.

Easy to set up on line partner had medical issues which was approved within 24 hours, first time we have used this company, good value and we will be using this company for annual travel insurance.

Very easy to set up the gentleman that looked after us was very informative, we didnt need to lodge a claim so cannot comment on that, and this is the first time we have used Worldcare Travel Insurance, will definitely use them next holiday.

One of a very few companies that would insure me for this type of activity as I had recently had a heart valve replaced. Did not have to make any claims

I emailed Worldcare over 72 hours ago to request an extension to my policy "end date". I did receive an automated reply that one of their consultants "will respond to my enquiry as soon as possible". So far no reply from a consultant, this is very disappointing as I have used this company several times in the past.

We have used Worldcare travel insurance 5times,we had no claims.I have been insured in Comprehensive,now my husband and myself.
It was pretty easy to set up,just took a phone call!
It was good value.

More exclusions than inclusion and if you have a genuine question you will need to wait 2.5 hrs on the phone like i did today, only to be told they cant help and to check their website, becuase the staff memeber i spoke to had no idea.
