The Parlor is suitable for short or smaller olayers but Im a large guy and average to large hands fits well on the strings. Coming from a ukulele this is perfect for me. Strings indeed are smooth and easier to fret. The workmanship is quality and not from overseas with solid components like a Fishman pickup. It came with the ABS case knowing the guitar is protected in shipping. Set up is spot on and the company says wait 6 months for everything to settle before making adjustments which is a good idea.Great customer service

I am 77 years old and have played, mostly just for my own pleasure since I was 15. Age, arthritis and fingers seemingly fatter have made playing much less rewarding recently, not helped by 'economically' priced instruments! I stumbled across Danny Zager's website and after initial scepticism, realised that maybe here was the solution. I read some of the reviews many of which mention playing with arthritic difficulties, read about his design philosophy and realised I had to give it a try, my wife agreed, eventually! Nine days later FedEx delivered to my home in the UK a splendid, beautifully made, Zager Parlor E. That was three days ago, I've played for an hour every evening since, it is very different to anything I have owned before, I'm an engineer and the instrument feels very 'stiff' I guess this is gives it the tone and volume. I love it, easy to play and no more buzzes playing B7th! With the returns deal Zager offer they are well worth considering, my Parlor E certainly does what it says on the box.

One year ago I bought a Zager 50CE. It arrived with faulty Fishman electronics right off the bat, and it was all but impossible to keep in tune. They sent me a new Fishman, but I sent the whole set up back to have them properly set up and replace their faulty work. The did pay the return cost, and sent me a whole new guitar [I thought it strange they didn`t send the original back]. The second guitar arrived with a Fishman that called the "E" strings "D" strings, but I figured I could live with that. Noe I keep all my guitars in a climate controlled studio. This last month I went round and round with Zager, because as the neck began to slowly twist, Zager would of course go into the "it`s your humidity problen, because we use such high grade woods, you need to take extra special care of our high end guitars". B as in B, S as in S. I sent it back for them to see what I was talking about, at the cost to me of $68. Today I got a check for the price of the guitar MINUS the transport cost of course. I have no clue why Zager gets such high reviews. Also, the guitar is NOT made in Nebraska. It is set up and finished for sale there, and that`s it. BTW...when I showed my luthier [old family business] the zager, he ask why I spent money on it. Of course Zager claimed my luthier was clueless. You all have been warned. NEVER again!

Outstanding customer service, quality construction and playability. My wife got me the 80CE Aura for Christmas. It is an absolutely beautiful guitar both in looks and play. Construction quality is flawless and it plays superbly. The action was higher than I like so I lowered it after following the help videos. Recommend viewing the help videos on string height before making any adjustments. It all makes good sense how they are set up. I already gigged with it and it's a player. This guitar will do anything.

Hello Dennis, Just a quick note of thanks for recommending and delivering my 80 Series Orchestra Model. At age 71 my arthritis limited my chord formations and playing duration. Right out of the case I plucked an F chord and several bar chords effortlessly. I had never heard of Zager Guitars until 4 weeks before I ordered one! Well, I was not disappointed! This instrument plays easier than any acoustic guitar you will ever pick up - including the higher-end models. Great action, beautiful inlays, Grover tuners and solid spruce/rosewood finishes. In my 40+ years of playing guitar, I have owned many exceptional brands, such as Taylor, Martin, Guild, Gibson, and even a handmade one by a local luthier. I also had the opportunity to play many guitars from my days of working guitar sales at a guitar store. My Zager ZAD50CE matches them all as one of the best guitars I have ever played. I would have expected it to be double the price. The craftsmanship, sound, and playability, far exceeded my expectations. I'm a very pleased customer!

My 900 OM CE Cutaway arrived safe and sound. I must share with you it exceeded even my highest expectations. I have not put it down for three days now. It looks beautiful, sounds superb and plays flawlessly. I play primarily through the Bose L-1 "pole" system. Let me tell you, it sounds like heaven. Zager include a sound hole damper for playing through the system. Of course, unplugged sounds just as perfect. It's a beautiful piece of craftsmanship and is a joy to play. The best way to explain it is that your fingers seem to glide through the song. I have 21 other guitars...about half are high-end Taylors, plus Martin and Gibson. Trust me, if I decide on a 23rd, it will be another Zager. My guess is no one ever takes Zager up on their return guarantee...

Got it for my grandson and he loves it. According to him it plays much easier than his other acoustic. Glad we got it. It really has a great sound and is very pleasing to the eye. He's motivated to practice more now as he can play better and easier. Their guarantee to please helped eliminate fears of buying without seeing or playing it at first. Will be used at our church worship services. He loves the guitar.

Was looking at a new Martin D-41. My brother who has my old D28 and my dad's D35.Saw a Zager post on Facebook and tagged me. When I saw the Anniversary model , it was jaw dropping! 1/2 the cost of the D41 I was looking at plus electronics. With the guaranteed shipping both ways, I had to take a chance. I am totally blown away with my Zad900ce. Will tell all of my music friends and family. I saved so much money over the Martin, I can get another one soon. A guy can never have too many guitars.

Just got my Zager ZAD50CE. I really like the quality workmanship, the great sound and easy fingering on the fret board. Customer service and shipping was superb! My friend, who owns 10 guitars, says my 50CE sounds better than his $3000 Martin. Quite a compliment!

After arthritis pain kept me from playing guitar for several years, I learned about the Zager Easy Play. I opted for the parlor-size acoustic because I have small hands and am only 5' tall. The customer support specialist treated me like family. My guitar arrived wonderfully boxed. The guitar came in an incredible, custom-molded case, almost perfectly tuned (cross-country with temperature extremities notwithstanding), and all the accouterments I never expected.The inlay is stunning. I bought this Zager 80CE about 6 years ago. Its still a blast to play for a non pro once in a while player like me. It makes me sound great,,like I know what I'm doing, LOL. I've got small hands so I like the way the neck feels. Did I mention its built like a tank as well, very solid beautiful wood and finish. Always fun to play ! Thanks for building a wonderful guitar .

Though I own several Taylors, I wanted a "cheap" easy to play guitar for my girlfriend..... unfortunately, I like her Zager so much, I never play my Taylors anymore. I LOVE "her" Zager and play it all the time. It's my go-to guitar because it has great action, sounds so, so good whether it's amped or played alone. And the quality and finish are outstanding. Guitar arrived promptly (along with pick and t-shirt) and in tune, straight out of the box. Zagers addressed my questions immediately and I felt it was like having them here in conversation in my living room. Handsome guitar, nice bright sound, comfortable action, strap attachments conveniently located, still playing around with the pickup but it seems fine so far. Website info and live demonstrations very clear and informative especially in discussion of ways to reduce string buzz (Low action takes some getting used to.) Overall, very satisfied.

Plays like butter, in tune off the UPS truck. What does that mean? Somebody tuned this up, played it before they shipped it! Family owned business, great communication getting you past the "buy my guitar by mail" problem. I've played this out 3 times- got many compliments on look/sound. Value- great- they sell their own guitars no markup for what I consider a fair price. This sounds as good as my $2000 Martin

Received my ZAD900CE the other day and love it. Absolutely beautiful guitar with amazing sound. Started learning to play a couple of years ago and decided to upgrade from my Epiphone Masterbilt DR500. Hopefully my ability will catch up to the quality of this guitar. Denny Jr. was extremely helpful in assisting me with the purchase. Have to say I love the Zager but than you cant beat Rosewood.

This guitar is a real beauty maple binding all around flawless , I did adjust the string height to 3/16 at the 12th fret , plays and sounds wonderful deep mellow and rich , easy to play , I am 70 years young and have always played back porch stuff Country and bluegrass and I play a little fiddle , The guitar was in tune out of the box ! Very nice it will be and is my new favorite ! Really great case came with it ! It also came to me fast I ordered it Saturday and received it Friday around noon time , so I received it on the fifth working day not bad !

I received my ZAD 900CE on 3/7/20. It is a beautiful and well-built instrument with rich tone and great volume. Indeed, it is the easiest playing acoustic I've ever played. I've never seen an acoustic guitar with action as low as the 900CE's, and it does not buzz anywhere on the neck. It's a work of art. Shipping was fast. Dennis responded to emails within less than an hour. Tremendous experience.

Being retired gives me time, time to play my Zager! Being retired also means my hand strength is somewhat diminished due to arthritis. That's why I love my Zager so much. It's extremely easy on my hands and fingers, looks great, and sounds fabulous. I've played Martins, Gibsons, and Taylors and my Zager equals or surpasses them in every way. Zager customer service is also top notch. The few times I've had a question I've received an answer within hours. I am one satisfied customer.
