Totally disgusted with this company. Never use this company. They aren’t the cheapest either, but I thought the reviews did not look too bad. How wrong I was. Never again. I usually never write reviews, but now I know the importance of reviews. I have warned all my family and friends never to go near this company. Please avoid or your holiday will be full of stress and worry. I booked an arrival and return journey from Doha thinking this would save me the hassle and airport taxi fares which are usually extortionate. However, before boarding my flight to Doha from the UK- (7hour flight) I received an email highlighting that the driver had turned up at the airport to pick us up and we were not there. Ridiculous Hoppa had mixed up our evening arrival time with the morning time and had the cheek to blame me for it, even though I had given them the flight details. I rang Hoppa’s emergency number after being put on hold and going through so many options which was so unclear, I finally spoke to someone who was more useless then a chocolate tea pot. They kept shifting the blame to me like a broken record player and said the flight details were wrong and so was the timing. I asked Hoppa to contact the taxi firm to confirm they could re-arrange the pick-up for us and for them to investigate this before I boarded my flight. She put me on hold for 2mins and then said she just spoke to them and they did not have the capacity to do so and the taxi firm could not find the flight details either. I asked to speak to a manager who was even more useless then the first person I spoke to. I asked Hoppa to arrange with another taxi company and they refused stating they only have one company they use in the whole of Qatar- Doha. Ridiculous. They did not even have a contingency plan for emergencies. She kept shifting the blame and did not want to help at all. The pathetic thing was there was x7 hours before my arrival and they could not even arrange a taxi for us? I then sent them an email to cancel my return journey after I landed, and they did not reply to me at all. I contacted the taxi company they had arranged with in Doha directly and they told me that Hoppa had not even contacted them about the missed transfer nor spoken to them about re-arranging the pick-up which they could have done. Furthermore, the first contact they had from anyone for my booking was from myself. They also informed me that the flight details I had provided were accurate and it did say evening flight, so they attempted to contact Hoppa, but no one picked up. As a result they had no recourse but to cancel. Basically, Hoppa lied about the whole thing to shift the blame and did not even contact the taxi company as they said they had. After I directly cancelled in advance my return transfer with the taxi company in Doha, Hoppa replied to my email and cancellation request via email x3 days later. Totally useless. 5 months later they still have not resolved my issue or complaint nor gotten back to me even after numerous promises to do so. The icing on the cake was: the airport taxi fare to and from the airport in Doha was less then half of what I initially paid to Hoppa. Uber was cheaper! How ridiculous and it was so straight forward. Will never use this transfer company again.

Worst customer service. Booked a holiday with a travel agency where Hoppa Go was responsible for the transfers from the Airport to Hotel and viceversa. On the departure day I have received a phone call from Hoppa Go representative to confirm my booking but at the Airport there was no one waiting for us. Called the local emergency number just to find out Hoppa Go didn't payed for our transfers so we were just left stranded in the Airport. We had to hire private taxi to travel to the hotel and back to the airport. I have written an email to Hoppa Go asking what happend and they simply replied they have cancelled my bookings and to address my issue with the travel agent. No excuses, no empathy for letting us stranded in a foreign country. Absolutely disgusting. Never ever again we will use their services.

I will never rent a car from Turo again. I rented a car using Turo in San Francisco. When I turned the car in, there were a small amount of food crumbs in the back seat. Even though Turo's policy says that I can't be charged for this, the renter tried to scam me by telling me that I would be charged $100 for not vacuuming the car out myself. I even volunteered to take the car the gas station across the street to vacuum the car but the owner said it was too late and I would be charged a fine. Turo went against their own policy and fined me. Plus, the car had a large number of scratches and paint damage that was not disclosed in the description and I would have never rented the car had I known. I tool over a dozen pictures of damage on almost every panel and bumper on the car. This was my first and last time using Turo.

For this type of business, it needs a strong mediator between parts that takes the time to listen and analyse and, the most important, to not allows illegalities happens on its platform. This is exactly the opposite of TURO. Everything is allowed there and TURO doesn’t care who is right or not as long as it has access to money; and they always have because you need a credit card to make an account. Our story: the owner we have rented a car asked for damage we haven’t done: the photos the owner himself posted before and after renting show that the damage was there before. We have written to TURO and they gave us a phone meeting (precise date and hour to talk on phone) that they never attempted, after that they was never answered to our e-mails. Another detail: you will see perfect or almost perfect reviews on TURO platform (five stars), because TURO allows you to make a review only after 10 days following your rental and you cannot change this review after that. Problems occur after this period.

I was unfortunate to have Kevin from Glasgow branch . He was aggressive and rude and took great pleasure in charging £570 for a tiny chip on windscreen... Which was there when we picked up the car . Myself and my 10 yr old daughter were very upset to have used Easirent . We will not forget this very unpleasant experience and will do as much as possible to let people know about this bunch of crooks in a shonky car yard in Glasgow .

What a scam of a company, I book and unfortunately paid in full almost 2500 dollars on July 28th to August 25th. I went to pick up my car, the booking was locked from holidaycars side.... They never answer the emergency number and they replied by email after 3 days... They refused to rebook the car or refund my money. They ruined my vacation and stole my money... A case was raised with Master card...do not use their service, it's a scam.

Wisecars company refused to refund my $280 deposit paid for renting a car at FOX rent a car, which, in turn, refused me because I am a holder Ukrainian passport and a UAE driving license. In three years of renting cars in the USA from different companies, I have never encountered such a problem. Moreover, the failure to return money for a service not provided is a violation of my rights as a customer, doesn't matter that the company does write in small script in they own policy. Avoid as much as you can. They charge extras after the event, and when you try to get it refund the attitude of their customer service (Jay) is absolutely out of tone and close to be insulting. Of course, the final outcome is that they are refusing to accept evidences that the additional charges are not legitimate. Better work with the global players who have some key values such as transparency and Customer Service.

My husband and I and another couple were traveling to the UK for two weeks from Canada. We were looking for a vehicle that would be comfortable and large enough for all of us and our luggage. I found 4x4 vehicle hire on the internet and contacted them for a quote. Riaz got back to me very quickly and I found him very helpful and friendly. Not only did he do his very best to try and help me find a vehicle that suited us, he helped me stay within my budget. Riaz truly went out of his way to help me and I can’t begin express how much I appreciate that. The Land Rover Discovery 5 was a perfect fit for us. The vehicle was beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Our luggage fit perfectly and it handled the weight with ease. It was a luxury to drive, excellent to handle and made our travels a pleasure. The company, 4x4 Vehicle Hire dropped it off with us and picked it up from us, eliminating any extra expenses and mostly time. This was something that was extremely convenient for us and a bonus. It was so easy. Everyone we had contact with was very nice. I can’t recommend this company enough. They are definitely top shelf with their vehicles but also customer service.

I have used Affordable and Tesco vouchers for the last 4 years and this is the first year I have found difficulty getting information on dates beyond a few weeks of the date you input data information. If there are restrictions which I know there are (no recognition of Tesco pricing) they should be highlighted to explain either no availability or prices unknown. It is very frustrating being presented standard pricing when you have been pushed towards Tesco voucher pricing and constantly get presented standard pricing..

1Cares was amazing! They helped us arrange a tour to the French town from which my family emigrated to the United States in the 1800's. Based on the scant family information we had, the customer service representative helped us pinpoint the location, and our driver facilitated a visit to the actual site where my ancestors lived. They helped provide the exerience of a lifetime, and I am so grateful to them! I appreciated their helpfulness, prompt responses, and professional service. While they delivered exactly what was agreed upon (type of car, English speaking driver, fee, etc.,) they went above and beyond in service! They do not provide guided tours, but I would highly recommend them to anyone who is planning a customized driving tour.

Dealt with the Seattle location only. Easy process for pick-up and return. Friendly staff. We took some food/kitchen supplies at pick-up, which helped us in the first few days. Campervan drew some attention while travelling, especially from the kids (they said it was "cool"). We had the Kid Fish van and although filling up the tank was a bit pricey, it travelled about 450-500 miles between fill-ups. I would definitely recommend this company should I be travelling out West in the near future.

If I had the choice,I wouldn't even give a 1-star to rate their customer service or support team.I have worked for uber for a while in England and then I moved to Scotland and contacted them to update my details in order to be able to see the promotions in that city and organise my time properly. By the way each city has its promotions that drivers can benefit from but when you work in another city apart from the one you signed up in ,you won't be able to benefit from the promotions in that new city unless you change your permanent address and update your information with Uber. It is the driver’s right to update his details when he permanently moves to another city and it is Uber’s duty to do so.They refused to update my details in order to work for them Without taking advantage of the promotions. They deceive and lie in order to steal the drivers' rights and effort.Just work for us and we pay you almost nothing.absolutely 100% rubbish company. I have screenshots that support my claim and wish I could upload them here. Don't work for these demons.

Uber eats needs to stamp out drivers servicing 2 customers at once. My food that is usually a 6 minute drive is now a 12 minute wait, so 6 my food will sit in a bag for an additional 6 minutes to go cold. Yay!!

Europcar took TWO YEARS to notify me of a missed payment when returning a vehicle to one of their rental depots in Amsterdam.It was rented and dropped off in good faith that my card details were on file and Europcar would deduct the amount. It's not the customers responsibility to ensure payment is taken correctly, the onus is on the organisation to ensure payments are processed correctly. Utterly ridiculous that it took this long. When they finally decided to get in contact, it was over email, with spelling and grammar errors, which was assumed to be a phishing email. Will not deal with Europcar again the future nor recommend their service to others.

Paid for an airport pickup...no one showed ..did not find driver with name board..even after walking around for over an hour and a half. Ended up paying for another taxi. Which was cheaper to take me to the hotel. Contacted Rideways and all I got was nothing but excuses..no refund...they took the driver's side of the story.. since he claims he was there...but no one could find him ... wouldn't recommend them to anyone...they can keep the money..which they said they wouldn't refund. Would NEVER use them again!!!!

Quoted for a hire including delivery and collection from our address. Spoke to them on the phone it was no issue and they took payment. A day before the hire they contact us demanding to nearly double the hire charge. They are not listening that they agreed a contract to supply a service, or that we have costs we can't recover now as a result. Crazy, possibly the worst customer service I've ever encountered.

I booked a van for moving to be delivered to an address where I was dropping off a hire car days before the delivery date. At 5pm on the day before delivery (due at 12pm) they called me and said there was a problem with delivering to the address and could I do a walk-in somewhere nearby to get the van. I said yes, that would be fine. I was told that they would email me back with details. They sent nothing that day and their phone lines were closed. The following day, nothing and all calls were met with "We'll call you back". I drove an hour and a half to drop off my hire car and pick up the van, and 15 minutes before it was due, they called me back to say they couldn't do it now and there was no availability until 10am the following day. This left me stranded with no vehicle, an hour and a half from my home in a remote location and with no way to move out. Basically, they messed up, did not seem to care at all, offered no attempt to help, no discount, no recompense; not even sympathy. I find it hard to believe that a company can get away with treating its customers like this.

This website is a scam!!! I'm shock and mad that I've rent or even enter on your website. Nothing it's clear, you think you are renting the cheaper car in Fuerteventura but you are just being a scam. You have to leave with this very serious people a caution of 1200€ that they just refund you 30 days after you gave the car back. if you don't want that solution or maybe you don't have that money since you are not rich (and that's why you spend almost 2 hours in line to have this stupid car) you have to pay 4 times more, and that value isn't refundable. So what you think it's the best offer ends up being the most expensive one. If you ever think or for some unfortunate you end up on their lovely website just run for autoreisen!!!

I booked a transfer with GetTransfer in Rhodes, Greece in August 2022. The car did not come without any advance notice. It was very difficult to find an alternative solution soon, and finally I could not visit an attraction which I was very much looking forward to. I requested refund to my credit card, but GetTransfer only gives me a credit toward future transfer, which is according to their Terms & Conditions. Such credit is useless for me. Who wants to use such an unreliable service again. I only ended up losing my money. Please be careful!

Please avoid because the quotation they send you is not what you really have to pay at the desk!!!. Hereunder my story. I booked a car through AirportRental: 10 days car rental with ACE company at Cancun airport with the maximum additionl insurance, the so called Protection Plus. Total 260USD+120USD=380USD. When I got to ACE desk @Cancun airport I was told that, by law, they could not give me the car without one of these two additional insurance: - Basic insurance: 220USD (189USD + VAT) - LDW2: 324USD (279USD + VAT). I decided for this, the equivalent of the Protection Plus I have already payed to Airport Rental. Moreover I had to pay additional 60USD for an Airport fee! Obviously none of these expenses were in the quotation I had received and booked from AirportRental!!! After approx 20 emails and 2 months with customer service AirportRental gave me back 120USD of protection plus and 60USD of airport fee. So at the end of the day I spent (approximately) 380+324+60-120-60=584USD instead of 380USD! I don't think this is correct.

OMG I wish I'd read these reviews before choosing these crooks! Nearly everyone here has been charged additional insurance. In my case I was already fully covered through the broker Autoeurope with whom I'd booked the day before. Autoeurope advised me that the only thing I'd be charged for on my credit card would be £150 deposit (to be refunded upon return of the car). Like others, I was exasperated with the appalling customer service agent who kept me waiting over an hour - he couldn't remember his PC password. He handed me the keys and asked me to initial the 4-page contract and sign at the end but never mentioned he'd sneakily added additional insurance for £101. I just signed without reading it through and got the surprise at home when I saw my bank statement. As you can see, there are several pages of people who've had this done to them. Avoid, avoid, avoid Firefly!!

Alicante Airport FIREFLY who is owned by HERTZ Car Rental have taken £332.78 From my credit card after I arrived back home in the UK - 2 Days after I returned the car back to Alicante Airport. The Payment seems to be for additional car insurance with the car hire company FIRFLY. A cost that Ryanair have since told me was optional but we were not given the option at the time of collection. It was not explained to me that this was an option or that we would be charged additional money. We had already paid RYANAIR the rental car cost and insurance cover on the 21st August 2020 when pre-booking the car. Why would I agree to another additional insurance cost with firefly if I had already bought insurance cover? We questioned the person on the desk at the time of pick up of the car, we asked them to make it clear to us that there was definitely no other charges as we had already paid the hire car cost and insurance - he said no there was no other charges. We were concerned about some of the figures in the right hand corner that was titled estimated charges - as this didn't make sense to us - the man assured us that there was nothing else to pay and he made it out that this was a holding fee on my card NOT AN ADDITIONAL INSURANCE OPTION. He didn't ask us if we wanted additional insurance, he disguised it as a holding fee that would be put back onto the card. We were not made aware about any options for additional insurance or that we would be charged it or could opt out of this on the document. IT WAS A PRE-PRINTED FORM! We had already paid for hire car insurance with Ryanair (Which can be seen on my statement and firefly was aware of this) It should also be highlighted that this charge of £332.78 was also not made until after we returned the car and left the country - This equating to 20 days after we picked the car up from Firefly. How can insurance be charged after the event? This is obvious Fraud and deception ! We have since found whilst looking on trustpilot.com that this is a regular occurring scam and that Firefly have conned hundreds of their customers by charging credit cards after the event for insurance they didn't agree to This is clearly FRAUD and ROBBERY I was given a pre-printed document to sign that had no options for extra insurance cover. I was deliberately manipulated by the FIREFLY representative to sign that document. I was told that the figure of 358.66 euros was a holding fee on my card in the event that I didn't bring the car back - NOT an extra OPTIONAL insurance that would then be sneakily taken from my card days after the event! I questioned this figure multiple times and the firefly representative assured me there was nothing else to pay as I had already paid for the rental and had my insurance with Ryanair. Can you tell me why insurance would be taken days after the agreement has ended?! It's completely obvious to me and many innocent customers that this is pre-meditated fraud on behalf of Firefly Car rental. You deceive customers into thinking the figure on the sheet is a holding fee and will be released when really, it's a lump sum of money that has been taken days after they leave the country and arrive home. I did not agree to extra insurance with Firefly, I already had insurance with Ryanair, I questioned the document that I was given to sign and then I was lied to Do you understand that this is Fraud? dishonesty and robbery?

very poor unprofessional. I booked Great Britain cars for pick up and collection from Stansted in April for a family funeral. we were on a day trip . Booked online taxi to bring us from airport to funeral and return journey that evening. On arrival, car was late and the company and they said the car had a breakdown and they would send a replacement which they did. I was informed by phone i would have paid this driver and the company would refund me by the end of the day. i emailed and rang the company in afternoon reminding them of pick up for departure and they weren't to be late as we had made the flight that evening. The taxi was over an hr later we barely made our flight and the company still has officially not said sorry for making a sad day more stressful. or provided a refund a month later. despite phone calls and emails and letters to the company. The company are totally unprofessional and unreliable

We returned the car 3 months later and David delivered us safely to Southampton to catch our ship back home. That is the second time I have used Traffic Self Drive as dealing with Paul is ‘hassle free’, and driving with David is a pleasure, as he is a good driver plus a very affable man. Horrible service in the airport of Malaga, Spain, the agent by the name Maria, thought she is the boss, trying to make a show there. First, they did not give me the car which i rented, second they had some extra fees which they wanted to charge and hide and most important, NEVER use AVIS, most horrible service i ever had in my life. Being such a big company, they should take care first of all of their employees, because they are the reason why they suck!

Miserable service, Van arrived 2 hours late despite saying several times over phone will be there in 15 mins. Finally after arrival they didn’t know any thing about dismantling a bed and bunk bed so I ended up doing those bits although I got that covered in my quote, the second person with the driver was just observing the driver doing the work and I had to ask him several times to do some work but was no good instead he damaged my new property dropping goods over the walls and scratching them. They spent an hour trying to reassemble the bed with fail so I finally had to ask them to leave which they didn’t like and the second person went outside my property and urinated next to my car on neighbours wall, when I raised the complaint with the company they didn’t take it seriously and instead rudely argued with me. If you don’t want to spoil your move then avoid this company at all costs.

I flew to Spain with Ryanair and their website has links to InterRent/Goldcar so i booked with them. Silly really because i had heard of the underhand activities of Goldcar before especially around the insurance hence i take out an Annual policy. Obviously they don't like this but using the new tablets system to book and sign an agreement they can't con people so easily. However they have a new scam !! The car provided was good in fairness and more or less new a Corsa diesel. It was only when i got home i discovered they have decided to charge all customers who get the diesel cars a penalty fee of Euro 20 "it reflects the additional benefits of lower fuel consumption, lower fuel price and usually a more powerful engine" well it would have been nice to be told this and given an option. So be aware and ask for petrol otherwise you will be automatically charged this penalty. Lets face it if they get away with it on 75 hires a day that makes them just over Euro 10000 per week !! For nothing be careful

Booked car with Auto Europe UK5002555-1 but flight was cancelled 24 hours before due to coronavirus. Immediately told Auto-Europe to cancel car but was told less than 48 hours before pick-up would mean no refund. But as a gesture of goodwill they would only charge a penalty of £60.00. The car that waas booked could not be provided in any case due to the Spanish government declaring a sta te of emergency.After much correspondence and extra costs, Auto Europe agreed to a reduced charge of £25.00 which is the amount included within their own terms and conditions for such circumstances. Why did they not do this originally? The airline, the hotel and the pre-booked attractions all made a full refund but not Auto-Europe. Most other car rental agencies offer full refund in the event of cancellation due to coronavirus, but not Auto-Europe. Although I have used Auto Europe many times in the past, my trust in this company is at a low time ebb and I will look to other organisations before considering using them again.

I have used Auto Europe many times over the years and have found them to be excellent. I do strongly feel that it is mendacious to advertise free cancellations and then charge a "small" admin fee of £20 to cancel during pandemic.Other companies such as Holiday Autos are processing truly free refunds albeit slowly. Why can't Auto Europe?

We booked a bus for 21/11/2015 through their Sydney company & we are still waiting for the bond to be refunded to our bank account. Booking the bus was fine, the bus turned up & was good for what we needed it for. The driver wasn't good at navigating to our destination so we arrived late. I have been emailing to arrange for the bond to be refunded & have NEVER received a reply. I have made numerous phone calls to the mobile number of the driver & he NEVER answers! ONCE he actually did answer my call, I asked about our bond & he claimed that he would have refunded it the following week after we hired it, this is what usually happens. He said he would look into it & get back to me. I still haven't heard from him. He finally answered another one of my many phone calls & admitted to not having refunded the bond yet & asked for me to email our bank details to him so he could arrange to refund it for us. I asked him if he receives my emails because I have been emailing for MONTHS & have never received a response! His reply was "Yes, I have been getting them" I then asked why he wouldn't have replied to any of them regarding this matter & he said "I have been busy!" We are still waiting for this bond to be refunded. Very unprofessional, I would NEVER recommend to use this driver from Sydney.

I recently used Night Cruiser Party Bus Tours to surprise my partner for his birthday. The whole experience was terrible. Firstly It took 3 days to get through to the call centre to pay the final amount via Credit card, the service was shocking. When it came to the night to my own surprise a competitors bus turned up for our tour (one which i had already looked at and didnt like the company) I was then told I owed more money when I didn't and there was another tour on our bus which I was never informed about at all. I was also under the impression there would be a tour guide who would come with us for the night - there wasn't. After all of this the bus left the whole tour on the side of the road at the end of the night!!!! I still have not received my bond back after many emails and attempts at calling (which are never answered). I was very very disappointed in the whole experience and will never recommend them to anyone!!!

We were rented a car in Copenhagen in mid-November and not told that it did not have snow tires, even though we were clear that we were taking the car to Norway and Sweden. Apparently snow tires are an upcharge but we were not given that option. We ran into snow and the car went off the road a number of times, and we finally had to turn back from our drive to Bergen because the car wouldn't go up hills on the highway in the snow. Our lives were certainly endangered, and part of our trip was ruined. The car was so bad that we couldn't even visit some of the museums in Oslo because the car wouldn't go up the ramp into the parking lot. When we explained this to the manager when we returned the car we were told that we should have known there were no snow tires, and given a tank of gas to compensate us for a ruined trip. We always use Enterprise for all of our rentals in the States, but apparently international Enterprise is not the same caliber of company, and we certainly won't be using it again.

We rented for one week whilst in Estepona. We found Espacar to be flexible and efficient. They dropped the car at the time and place arranged and then were there on the dot when we dropped it off at a differerent place. The car was nearly new and very clean with half a tank of petrol. We were very impressed and will now use them every time we visit the area. The insurance policy was included in the price and there were no hidden extras. Having hired many cars in various countries - we found this company competitive and we would thoroughly recommend them.

Very bad experience with keddy by europcar in Gran Canaria airport I rent through rental cars but I did not know that I had one hour to get my car I put 4pm instead of 6 and no flight number they played with me as they knew they can cancel the contract. They proposed me 200 euros at the end starting from 500 euros I asked the manager on duty who was in bad faith As it was late night he told me he was there until midnight waiting for my answer I know as well as when I booked that small cars are difficult to find in this peak season I do not want to accept this money racket I contacted rental cars and choose top cars next door who had a car available refund has been made but it took me 100 more but never again with europcar Please Change management at europcar agency very quickly for customer care

Rented a car at Barcelona airport for 29 Days. Had to wait because of a line at the terminal, but staff was very friendly and helpful. Five days into rental car had mechanical issues. EuropCar replaced it with a larger vehicles and a newer one. EuropCar was great and I will definitely use them again on my next my next European trip. Thank you EuropCar.

Overall the experience with your company is good, few notes: Better English speaking communication with PIC Till today I haven't got any update on the invoice . The condition of the car can be better ,the Panamera overall condition is good, but the wiper blade was old and not cleaning the windshield properly. The exact returning point has to be assigned
