I placed my order shortly before the Covid 19 lockdown came into being and had pretty much forgotten about it when the windows arrived. I received my order in good time,materials were 1st class as expected.However I did think 4 bulk bags were actually what would be required,silly old me,listened to my partner,concerned about our bank balance,suggested we just order 3 bulk bags.I did scroll the internet to see if there was a company closer to my home in Lanark to compare prices,perhaps cost for one bag might be less than your £192.32/bag?I did find Gravel Master who would supply the same material incl del and VAT for £177.I have not ordered the material until I check my bank account LOL.I am retired you know,its a lot of cash for me.

I have been looking for David Sylvian albums for a while and they are difficult to find, I have a few on CD but want the vinyl, I found a couple but not what I wanted and the prices were very high too, I am on your mailing list and so had a look, you seem to be the only place with his work in stock and at reasonable prices, I didn't realise either that this is a double album, it arrived within a few days and is perfect, very good quality and beautifully packaged, the quality is excellent as expected, but the music is sublime and gratifying to listen to, you close your eyes and just drift away, thank you for having his works in stock.

I would have give this transaction a full 5 stars if the CDs arrived. I understand the implications of COVID 19 but it has 34 days since shipment via "air mail" A few days after this order I placed an order for other items from a different vendor. That order was from China and was delivered 4 days ago. I still want the CDs and hopefully check the USPS's informed delivery emails daily hopefully looking for a delivery update.

Came up for a weekend trip for my brother's bachelor part. Had an absolute blast 100% of the time we were there. Breakfast was awesome, hospitality was great, dinner was lights out, and the beers were awesome! We CRUSHED white water rafting during high water and the experience could not have been better if it weren't for our guide MATT. He made an automatically fun day incredible and unforgettable. I can't wait to bring the rest of my family up for another adventure. 100% professional through and through.

I have used Northgate over the last couple of months and they have been excellent. I have used their headoffice, who were really helpful in securing us some fantastic deals and have also dealt with individual branches over the UK who have been so helpful and efficient. They deal with all the paperwork including booking forms, inventory/condition reports which is very useful and cuts down on all the paperwork. The costs involved are very reasonable, and they beat all my other quotations (of which I got 6 different quotes all together). The big advantage for our business was no upfront payment (no 3 month or 6 month advance rentals) and the ability to build flexibility into our business in times of uncertainty. Also having many different locations around the UK, it means the depots are in the right location to where our area sales managers are. Most important is our Area Managers are chuffed with their new vehicles. Thank you Northgate.

As a landlord with only one property being managed by Northwood through the Guaranteed Rent scheme; they have always been highly professional, efficient and friendly. I have been with them for eight years now and true to the promise of the scheme have never had any interruption in payments. In addition, I have had some health problems recently and a long stay in a hospital and they looked after everything for me with no hiccups. Just knowing all is being taken care of is priceless. I hope to carry on being with them for the foreseeable future!

I actually checked on amazon first because I needed a specific set of things really quickly - Amazon didn’t have any of the pasta making tools I needed as it turned out. So I started googling to find a specialist who would hopefully, not only gave the tools I needed but could deliver in time for Christmas Eve.... 2 days away! Pasta kitchen had everything I needed (all in stock) and with a next working day delivery promise. They didn’t disappoint- everything turned up in time for me to make an authentic Italian supper for my family! I’m delighted and will be back again ????????

Instead of renewing my policy for a further 12 months you managed to cancel it. This was discovered when I enquired as to why you hadn't taken the relevant payment from my account. You then had to open a new policy for me for which the new premium was £111 more expensive for the same cover. You agreed to reimburse me for the difference, which you said you completed on 15th Oct, but which has not reached my account. On enquiry I was told that this was due to an IT malfunction. The new policy commenced on 8th Oct and it is now 29th Oct; the premium I am now informed will be deducted on the 7th Nov, and the reimbursement of the additional premium will hopefully be effected before then.

I ordered a leather journal in mail. When it arrived, it had scratches along the golden boarder. It looked like «nail scratches». I got in touch with Pen Heaven and described the issue accurately, attaching pictures. I received a response where they referred to «tones in the leather» that are individual and may vary. But, there was no problem with the letter, I had not referred to the leather at all. So I wrote again, with the same information. I received a lazy response that the same would apply to the paper. They are individual and handmade. The response had typos and didn’t use whole sentences. This seems little reliable, careless and nonprofessional. I sent a further e-mail where I asked them to please sharpen their communication in the future, pointing out concretely these mistakes. I received the response «Sorry you feel this way», instead of responding to the concrete issue or taking responsibility. I can almost just laugh at this point.

The service was good - delivery time could have been a day or so quicker, but the switch on the magnifying glass was difficult for my 91 yr old mother in law to push on and off. I took the cover off and put some Vaseline on the parts that slide which made it ok for her, but I think you should consider a different and easier light switch bearing in mind these are mainly used by elderly and quite often arthritic people.

Please do not book with this company- I booked a wedding in Mexico for 40+ Which has had to be changed due to Covid. We were sold the dream of a full package, someone who would help us with every aspect of our wedding booking. The reality has been so different, as soon as the deposits were taken the lack of communication has been shocking. One of the reasons we booked was because We were promised change the date save the rate at the time of booking but this seems to not be the case as this doesn’t include flights which we were told it did. We have verbally been given w new date but I have asked for written confirmation of this and they have not done it. All I get is ‘trust me it’s been changed’ Customer service is shocking we have to chase them for every bit of information. Literally to the point of calling them everyday for the last 2 months. No one ever calls you back. They are not helpful at all. When you question them as to why they don’t have answers their response is they they go through a tour operator- which was never explained when we booked this. We were sold this as a package holiday but it isn’t. Be aware of things like transfers they said they were included and after we have found out they aren’t. They do not reply to messages on the wedding profile. Honestly has been the worst experience booking my wedding, the stress they they have caused us has been unbearable. I am now in the position where I have to potentially tell my friends and family they may have lost their deposits, they were really helpful until they got everyone’s money. There lack of empathy and professionalism is shocking.

Refusing Full Refund Please do not book with this company! I was supposed to go to a wedding in April 2020 & paid £960, but due to COVID-19, this was unfortunately cancelled. The couple decided to cancel their wedding at the end of May & I’ve been trying to obtain my full refund ever since. I was reassured by Perfect Weddings Abroad that once they received the money from their tour operators, a full refund would be made. At the end of August, I received two random payments of £300 & £34.72 from Perfect Weddings Abroad, without an email or phone to explain what these payments were for. I contacted them & they said this was the correct refund amount, however they had now added cancellation fees & change of dates fees which was not included in my booking confirmation. They are now refusing to pay my full refund. I would really advise people to not make any bookings with this company after my poor experience. Lack of communication, poor service & several false claims are just a few things that spring to mind about this company! Do yourself a favour & avoid them at all costs!

I don't like leaving bad reviews, especially for small independent businesses, but the absolutely abysmal service I received from this company has made me want to share my experience. I ordered an item (a set of cork coasters) but when they arrived they were appalling: they were crumbling round the edges, they stank of smoke, and they left everything black with soot when they were touched. They were meant as a gift but they were completely unusable. I contacted the company 3 times over 3 days to ask for their help, before finally receiving a curt reply that as long as they hadn't been used I could return them - or I could clean them and wait for the smell to go! I pointed out they were faulty, and I would like to return them but needed them to pay for return postage (which is within consumer rights). They didn't reply - to that, or any further communication asking for help. I raised a dispute with PayPal, and the company also ignored them too. I managed to get a refund from PayPal, but I'm still out of pocket because I had to return the item so that I had a tracking number before PayPal could refund me. (Note to self: if this ever happens again I shall add in the cost of return postage when raising a dispute with PayPal!). It is illegal for a company to expect a customer to return a faulty item at their own cost; they must pay for return postage or arrange collection. It states on this company's own website that they will refund postage - but it's a lie. They don't. They ignore you. They have a high handed attitude to customers, and absolutely appalling service. I will never buy from them again, and I advise you don't either. I shall be reporting them to trading standards.

As first time buyers of a shared ownership property with a rather niche financial situation (one normal salary, one PhD stipend income), we had nearly given up hope that we'd be able to buy our dream home and make it onto the property ladder. It was at this point - after another mortgage broker had spectacularly failed us - that we found RockHopper. Troy Clayton and Nick Cornforth were fantastic from beginning to end. Not only did we get our mortgage in fantastic time, but the two were also amazingly responsive and kept reassuring us throughout the stressful process of the mortgage application. The quality control team at RockHopper went through all our documents meticulously before submission to the lender and made sure there was a minimum of stress for us. The fees for RockHopper may be higher than with some other mortgage brokers, but we can wholeheartedly state that every penny was well spent on them. If you are trying to get a mortgage and have some special requirements, we definitely recommend you work with RockHopper!

Becky was an absolute rockstar! She was so warm and accommodating to each request I had. With me living in California and the time difference between us she still was very diligent and quick to respond to my emails. Although I pay to have my lawn treated & fed about 4 Times a year it started to look a mess. I decided to remove the thatch by scarifying it, however, with the thatch & dead moss removed my lawn looked worse than ever. Following advice from an on-line video I over-seeded it using Roland Medallion seed. The bare patches have gone & I am looking out at a fantastic lawn (what a relief).

I am the Keyboardist and DJ for the legendary pioneers of Hip Hop, The Sugarhill Gang. I also have Erbs Palsy with only the use of one-hand and was in search for a keyboard that would adjust to my "touch" and feel". I got the ROLI Seaboard Block and Lightpad and was blown away, however I needed to apply "pitch-bend" to my "after-touch" "pressure". I contacted Elizabeth from your Brooklyn, NY office, who moved immediately and sent me the parameters to tweak which enabled to do what I also wanted to do with a keyboard. Elizabeth also put me in touch with Brian Bonz, Artist Relations, also from your Brooklyn office, who has helped me tremendously prepare for my up-coming Singapore Tour with tips and solutions. I purchased a van from Tony, He helped me at every turn to complete our transaction. They shipped my van from Savage to Conroe Texas by way of Denton Texas, where Justin took over and delivered it. Justin was great as well, processed the paper work and went over the use of the lift, electric doors and so forth. All in all, a top notch purchase. Way to go Rollx Vans. I will highly recommend This company if you need a van.

My son rented a flat through Romans. When he moved in the flat was filthy. The heating, shower, curtains and microwave were all broken and Romans didn't care. The electrics were in a disgusting state and hadn't been checked for years. The flat wasn't fit for human habitation. Complaints were completely ignored. When he left they kept a large amount of his deposit with no justification. They exist purely to exploit and rip off clients. Disgusting company.

Never deal with roofing megastore. When I placed my order they told me 5 working days then I received a email with a delivery date 5 weeks away. Phoned them to be told nothing they can do! Delivery date came and past with no arrival so I called them once again to then be told delivery was a further 4 weeks away, asked for my money back and have been told they do not do refunds so £4000 worth off velux windows and in total nearly four months from order date and my job is still on hold.

Don't use these bunch of charlatans. Sent me out a load of rubbish and refused to offer me a refund or replacements on the damaged items (malformed soffit boards) because their t&c's state that you have to notify within 48 hours. In my opinion this is a staggeringly short amount of time given that I was working away at the time and so couldn't have checked the order in that time anyway.

Ordered a bed from this company. all the pictures displayed had underbed storage. However the bed had no storage. had to order a different bed. Waited over a month before receiving an email about delivery and that was only because I kept contacting the company to find out what was going on. I do appreciate the situation we are all living in at present though, but the customer service is shocking. No communication and no good will gesture or receiving our delivery charge back due to the wait and as the furniture was supposed to be delivered to a room of our choice. When the delivery men came they nearly damaged my car by opening their lorry door which they swung open! I contacted delivery company and men had to come back to deliver it to the room. I even showed the men the email stating that was to happen but this was disregarded. Very disappointed with the whole experience. Furniture isn't cheap, however although the bed is sturdy the drawer isn't and is off alignment every time you open it and the chest of drawers feels cheap. I would not recommend this company.

Good delivery service only it would be helpful to know in the morning if the intended delivery is for the morning or afternoon - our bed arrived in the evening. I did get a call 45 minutes before the delivery, but I had to wait in all day. It was good that logistics/customer services called to check that the proposed delivery day was suitable and I changed it as it wasn't convenient for me.

Was happy with item when it arrived so called back a few days later to order more and was charged around £10 more for exact same product. Was told they would not honour the original price even though I was a repeat customer. I decided to go with Lamp Shop Online, even though they charged me slightly more, I was happier because the custom was better. Also the product was slightly better quality when arrived.
