I did the three day PME sugarpaste course and it was absolutely fantastic! I am not artistic, but the tutor was patient. The class was small and the tuition included different ways of covering a cake with sugarpaste and how to model figurines. We were also given ideas on how to decorate the cakes once they were covered. It was a fantastic three day course!

We bought £44 worth of fudge. 12 slices. My wife and are extremely disappointed. The product is unlike any fudge we have had. Smooth, gooey and like a previous reviewer stated - “claggy” in your mouth. Slimy and cloying. Pretty gift boxes and speedy service. Very well packaged too. I’m not going to bother complaining as their website spouts on about product variations and that it should be embraced. I know I’d get nowhere. Inconsistency in my opinion is not a good thing. It’s poor quality control. We’ve got 12 slabs of so called fudge that is somewhere between disgusting and delicious but in truth nearer to disgusting. It might end up in the bin. I feel as though I’ve had my pants pulled down.

I bought 4 slabs of fudge in Cambridge for a friend who loves fudge. I was embarrassed to discover within a day it had melted out of shape and could not be cut, it looked disgusting. I was told not to put it in the fridge so stored it in a kitchen with other food items, no heating. Even at room temp it was out of shape and melted. A complete waste of 17 pounds. Also the staff told me it lasted at least 3 weeks yet I see your leaflet says 'up to 2 weeks' and the box says 10 days. Normally fudge can be cut up and keeps its shape. I would never ever buy from Fudge Kitchen again. Very misleading advertising!

1-800-Bakery has just earned another satisfied customer. This A+ BBB rated company delivered a clutch performance. I had a company-wide event to push a safety initiative and we wanted to go outside the norm and add cookies for each attendee. We had a tight deadline, but after researching other companies, and seeing their product samples showcasing well-known companies, we placed an order for 300 individually wrapped butter shortbread cookies with a custom logo - and they delivered with hours to spare. Next year, we will plan further in advance so not to place undue pressure even though they've proven they can work well under the confines of a tight deadline.

My daughter can't have sugar for medical reasons so for her 8th birthday we got her 1-800-bakery's sugar free chacolate truffle cake. It was much better than I had expected! Well done. I'm not sure I would order baked goods online every day, but it's worth a try.

I have been ordering cupcakes from Hayley for a few months now as a treat but when I saw she does cakes in a jar I just had to try knowing her cupcakes are so good and was hopeful the jars would be too. We needed 150 branded cupcakes for a mobile app launch activity at our company. We reached out to a few suppliers and from looking at the images on websites, Amore Bakery appeared to be the company with the best looking cupcakes. In reaching out to Amore, they were very fast to respond to our questions, the process of ordering the cupcakes was pretty simple and straightforward. We also had a few additional requests which included nut free, vegan and gluten free options. We also needed a list of ingredients for each type of cake which Amore were very open to help us with. The cupcakes arrived on time, the gentleman who delivered the cupcakes was very professional and friendly, and the delivery was made even earlier that we had expected which was great. The cupcakes were divine and very well received within the business. Very impressed with the service.

VERY DISAPPOINTING SERVICE 2 Weeks, multiple calls and emails later and still no refund for undelivered cakes. DO NOT USE. I ordered a friend a delivery of cupcakes from Cakes Today 2 weeks ago for her birthday. On the day of her birthday I received a text at 11.55PM that my cupcakes would be delivered in 10m time. AFTER MIDNIGHT! I couldn’t believe it and immediately tried to contact cakes today to tell them not to deliver these cakes in the middle of the night and wake up my friend who’s a doctor and working the next day but I couldn’t get through. Just after midnight I had a call from the courier saying he had arrived. Furthermore the courier told me he still had 5 more deliveries to make afterwards! I told him not to wake my friend and spoil her birthday. My friend didn’t receive the cupcakes on her birthday or afterwards, and despite my multiple calls and emails to the company they haven’t provided me with a response or refund for the cakes my friend never received. Absolutely appalling service. Do not use this company.

Customer Service: I ordered the cake for my husband's birthday, 8 days in advance. On the day, I called them to ask when the cake will be delivered and they informed me between 8-9 pm. I told them that's too late for us. They couldn't help me. Later I saw that on the invoice they are committing to deliver the cake between 11 am-8 pm. I called them back and told them if they don't deliver the cake till 8 pm, to not deliver at all, and to refund us because they are breaching the agreement. However, this was not respected and the cake was delivered at 9 pm. Quality of the cake: I ordered "Not a Cheesecake Strawberry Cheesecake". The description on their website "This cake is not entirely a cheesecake but possesses the beautiful flavours and creaminess of one." Paid £49.99 for 8 inches. What we got was two layers of sponge with whipped cream in between and a thin layer of jam. Like a £10 cake from any store.

I ordered a custom cake topper from wowminime a few weeks back and the package arrived this past monday. I checked the package to see if there was any damage before opening and there wasn't so I continued to open the package. After unwrapping the package I noticed a chunk of my hair from the cake topper was not attached, the color I requested was incorrect and the hair style I requested wasn't correct either. In the beginning phases of ordering they were very accommodating , answering all my questions and concerns. Now that I have recieved my cake topper it is as if they are done with them. I emailed them my concerns and pictures as proof and was told to just use super glue to glue the hair back onto the topper and was told the color that was painted on the doll was a royal blue Even though it is not. Even though their were other things wrong with the cake topper I was willing to overlook the flaws because they were so accomidating at first. I am very disappointed in my purchase and don't recommend this company to anyone wanting something special for their wedding day.

My fiancé and I ordered a custom cake topper from wowminime and although the company was fairly accommodating during the process (changes, suggestions etc) when we got the dolls they were packed in a box that was slightly too small for them and they arrived broken and we were charged 30$ delivery. (Also noticed it arrived from Japan NOT the UK like it's listed on their site). When we contacted the company with our concerns and multiple photographs they asked us to try gluing it back together (we paid 240$ for something special for our wedding... gluing it together was NOT the answer we were looking for). I asked for a refund and they offered around 25$. I said no then they offered 50. I said no again and they gave us back 60$ and that was all they were willing to do. Needless to say were pretty disappointed with the cracks and glue all over our cake topper and will need to get another one which is disappointing considering the amount of money we spent on this one!!

Absolutely amazing! I got a bespoke cake made for my son's 15th birthday which I wanted to be unique. It was of a spoof of "Bob Ross" in the Dead Pool Avengers. Beautifully crafted & every detail matched the character, surprise of the night & tasted delicious. All guests were left amazed at how well the character had been copied, even the ones who didn't have a clue who it was! As long as my son knew & was happy that's at that mattered & he loved it. Vanilla sponge with Jam filling, the rest of the cake was finished the next day & was as soft as it came.

We ordered a cake for my Granddad as a lockdown surprise. Unfortunately the delivery firm left the cake outside in the sun on the hottest day of the year and didn't notify us that it had been delivered for 4hrs. The cake (which was filled with buttercream) was inedible. What was worse was the reaction of the company (Amy) who was incredibly condescending in her responses and essentially told us it was tough and the cake would have been fine sat in the sun all day! AVOID!

Waited 20 mins by the till point waiting to be served at the Tamworth branch, numerous members of staff walking past us, wondering around the shop or behind the till point and nobody aknowledged us or said that they’d be with us in a moment. When we asked if anyone was serving we got a response of “no we’ve gotta do these first”. Very poor service start to finish which is a shame as I had a brilliant experience in the Lichfield branch.

I was bought an afternoon tea for Christmas so I took my daughter with me today to the Wolverhampton branch, we had booked in advance, greeted on entering and asked to go to a table, we were given a menu to look through but had to ask one of the staff what the procedure was as it was afternoon tea. They explained we had to decide which savoury waffle we would like & if we wanted a cheesecake or doughnut. We made our choices, chicken bacon & egg waffle & cheesecake. It wasn’t too busy in shop (4 tables)but waited about 20 mins before it arrived, plates followed a couple of minutes later , we had to just sit there looking at it. After eating the waffle I had to go to counter to ask for clean plate for my pancake & fruit, I wiped my knife as no extra cutlery was offered. I had to go up again to ask for jam for my croissant, we questioned why we had been given a doughnut when we had asked for a cheesecake & was told they could only give us what they had ( there was cheesecake in display counter). Finally went back to counter to request second cup of tea, the staff were very polite at all times but I believe they could have been more attentive. There was only one other table occupied as we left so they were not busy at all, I have been to this shop before when it first opened & we had to queue for nearly an hour to get a seat but after this visit I definitely won’t be returning anytime soon.

I have ordered this cake online 3 weeks before my mom's birthday, just to be sure about the delivery date. The parcel came in a very nice box, wrapped 3 times so it could remain perfect and the surprise was huge :) My mom was extremely happy about the presentation and about the taste. As soon as I asked for a slice photo, I was informed that the cake had been eaten, it seems it is too delicious to resist longer. The reviews website does not allow me to post photos, however, I can assure you the delivered product exceeds the expectations. Therefore, I am a happy customer and will definitely come back to this shop. Highly recommended!

Ordered cake. They sent an email saying order received. Took money from bank account. No cake on day required. Supposedly they say some technical fault occurred so order not processed but they still took my money. Now trying to get money back and they are not being helpful. Would advise not to use this company.

We have ordered from here 3 times. 1st order (Pre-C19): Tasty brownies, arrived on time. 2nd order: (Pre-C19): Delivery slot booked for a specific day and confirmed via email (non-automated). Delivery cancelled on the afternoon it was due by email and rescheduled for the next day with no consulation. Was for a birthday, so had to go buy a cake, and was due to be out all of the following day. After many emails back and forth and a call, I eventually got a refund. Brownies never arrived so doubt very much they had ever been sent as advised. 3rd order (March 2021): Mistakes happen, so we decided to try again, for a birthday. Ordered 6 weeks in advance for a day before we needed them. Got an email confirmation, again non-automated. Day for delivery arrives and we hadn't heard a thing. My partner (who ordered) contacted them to query what time we could expect them as we had waited in all day so far (was about 3pm). Got no response. Gave up at 6.30pm and went and bought a cake. Got a response the next day telling us we should expect delays and that we should have called UPS. It was news to us that it was being delivered by UPS - we had no tracking info. We were then told we should have ordered at least two days before we wanted delivery, despite having confirmation that the order would arrive on a set date - it was never communicated to us that the order may not arrive on the selected day, which had then been reconfirmed. (Since we ordered, they have put a warning on the site, but not communicated directly with customers who had already placed an order.) Later that day, we got an email from the courier saying the now had our order. We got a confirmed date two days away. We asked the company for a refund and got a rude response telling us they had done everything they could. (All they had done was blame us). The order then arrived a day before expected. Good? Not really when we were out. When we finally got our order, the package was damaged. The blondies looked like they had been shoved hastily into the package and box. They were soggy and average at best - certainly not worth the cost. We are still waiting for a refund or goodwill gesture. I have been a quality manager for two national customer service centers (200+ people). I can honestly say that I wouldn't hire a single person from the Brownie Heaven customer service team as they all have been rude and unhelpful. They need a lot of training and some better policies. We are not unreasonable. We know mistakes happen. A genuine apology and a refund for the delivery charge, or an offer to cover the cost of the birthday cake we had to buy would have gone so far, and would have turned the terrible review into a good one. Even the promise to change their delivery from a confirmed day to 1-2 day slot would be an improvement. Don't order if you want these to arrive for an occasion. They won't. And the company won't care.

Ordered myself last month, for a set day delivery and when I emailed it hadn't even been dispatched, came on the Monday after and was dispatched on a Friday so my food spend the whole weekend in transit. My husband has since ordered something advertised on the website and been sent something completely different, when hes queried it, they've tried to say that it had been changed at the start of the month, on the 16th July, yet the photo and description he clicked on to place the order aswell as his order confirmation states otherwise. They then changed the photo to the correct one 3 hours late. Now they are saying they will refund him if he sends the one they sent back within 2 days, and its now a Friday. As it was sent incorrectly in the first place, you'd think that they would rectify the order and offer a refund as a goodwill gesture considering he spent just short of £100 on this and some other products. Very poor customer service and will not be ordering again.

On Friday January 26th, my family and I visited your establishment to celebrate my dads birthday. With a party of seven, we are generally used to waiting for seating during peak times. However, on this occasion the service we received was unacceptable. Our party arrived at the restaurant in South Side just before 6pm, and received a buzzer with a wait expectancy of an hour. My family patiently waited in the designated area among a crowd of individuals for an hour and 25 minutes. By the time we finally were seated our group, which included my 77 year-old grandmother, was famished. We had thought that upon being seated our orders would be quick to follow. To our dismay, it took another almost half an hour to receive bread and place our orders. After waiting again for almost another hour, we finally received our main course. With our wait time totaling nearly 3 hours, what was meant to be a celebratory evening turned into a hunger-filled gathering. Overall, we were greatly disappointed in the entire situation, and were very dissatisfied in the length of time our visit took. Nothing was done to aid the situation, and upon our departure it was decided among the group that we would not be returning in the near future.

The food was not tasty-my son's chicken teriyaki had a lot of fat in it and the teriyaki sauce was not good; my daughter's Santa Fe salad was average but the dressing had a weird taste; and my Dad's shrimp was overloaded with a salty sauce. Also their prices are very expensive! My extended family graciously paid the bill.
