I was sorry to see that Moorings has no office any more in Martinique. Finally we have received a different boat, not the one we were offered originally. It was the same type, same size, even most of the extra were the same, but not completely. A problem was that it was 110V, without converter and in the Marinas we could have access to the electricity. But the main problem was that we have not received (even for repeated request) for a water hose, making much more difficult to find places where we could re-fill the water tank. Otherwise it was OK, we will continue to be client of Moorings. And we have not received snorkelling set either, it was a big problem.

Upgraded to a 40.1, L’Albatros, due to unavailability of a 38.2. It was superficially clean but even on the first day it was obvious the boat had not been sailed for some weeks/months. When unfurling a very stiff Genoa for the first time I found a gecko lizard at home on the sail! At the first mooring I had to spray the mast with WD40 to ease the lifting and dropping of the mainsail. The bathing platform was very grubby, stagnant water where the life raft should be. I had to unblock the drain hole, which took almost an hour. The next morning the electronic plotter and vhf failed to work correctly. Service call made on cell phone. The were further issues with the vhf and stereo tuner which took another three service calls to partially resolve. The service guys who came out, usually between three and four hours later, were really helpful but were unable to solve the vhf issue, we were eventually given a handheld vhf a week into the charter. During the debrief, the Moorings employee was quite shocked to hear how the charter had gone, especially that the boat wasn’t thoroughly clean and that the vhf wasn’t operable. I should have taken photos of the state of the boat to illustrate the problems, not sure you would have been keen to publish them. The sailing itself was excellent, and were the people as always. But if cleanliness and safety (faulty vhf) are compromised, confidence in the company is challenged. We appreciate The difficulties after Irma but we trust the Moorings to provide us with properly serviceable equipment.

I have been chartering from BVI Moorings for many years. Each year the quality of the boats seem to be declining. See attached below. My prior charter had a faulty transmission which was never addressed even when called in. There are to many charter companies available in the BVI to put up with poor quality boats. Next year I will certainly consider other charter options. I discussed this with the manager in Tortola. She said someone would contact me. No one has.

This was our fifth bareboat charter with Moorings and it was the best yet, largely due to your excellent, attentive and professional staff (Sophie, Chris, Patricia, Laurent and Steve) in Raiatea. From the second we arrived to pick up our boat until they saw us off to the airport at the end of our charter, your Tahiti team went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Pre-arrival communication, provisioning, chart briefing, boat condition and cleanliness were all perfect. We also want to compliment and thank Roland and Paula who spent a great deal of time with us, answering our questions, and giving us the benefit of their experience when we made our booking and again several times before our trip began.

This was my 6th cruise with Uniworld. Service is always good. Staff always friendly and helpful. Food was varied and good. If you wanted a certain type of food all you had to do was mention it or ask if we were going to have it and they would prepare for you the next day. I would definitely recommend Uniworld and would choose to sail with them again.

We were taken on our booking journey by Jonathan, he listened to our request, where we wanted to go and what we wanted to see. He then started to sculpture our holiday. We booked an excursion through Shore Excursioneer for our return to Miami after a cruise. They say they guarantee a refund if you are unable to attend the excursion due to issues with the ship. (Please see below for their terms & conditions, directly from their eticket). This is completely dishonest, as when our ship was held up by US Customs (so we could not legally leave it) they told us "Too bad, this is not refundable". We have had to contest the charges with our credit card company as the company is completely unhelpful. This 'guarantee' is worthless & I advise you NOT to do business with this company. If your cruise ship does not visit the port of call or makes other changes that do not allow you to attend the booked excursion, SEE will guarantee a full refund. All changes must be communicated to SEE as soon as possible, no later than 14 working days after your booked excursion date. Please do NOT open a dispute or claim with PayPal for a simple refund process as you may be charged up to $80.00 in fees by the payment company or similar, it is much better to just contact us and we take care of you.

This is a cruise for those who want to have everything planned and have their hands held at all times. This is not an adventure where you get to choose anything. You cannot eat on your own. Viking cruises ruined our trip early this summer, In Budapest a Viking cruise boat killed all except seven people when colliding with a South Korean chartered boat. Later on the Main a different Viking boat was not tied down properly and broke one of the locks on the Main stopping all traffic between the Rhine and the Danube. I asked for an upgrade that cost $1 less than what I was paying. Now it is not on their site. If you go to their site all tweets are positive. How can that be? I believe they are blocking anything that is not positive for them. This is not fair and does not give consumers a clear picture of what they are comparing when determining which cruise line to us.

Dates travelled: 15 September 2018 - 22 September 2018 Yolo Cruise - Santorini to Mykonos En-suite Fleet, Hera Ship Price: circa £280 I was unhappy with the service Sail in Greece provided. Administration: When we reserved 4 spaces we were told that we could be in two double cabins. We therefore booked on the basis of this representation. Before the cruise started, the company informed us that there was only one double and the other couple would have to be in a room of 3. This resulted in lengthy correspondence to try and resolve this issue. The company initially said that we would have to make do relying on their terms and conditions to state that the types of cabins are not guaranteed. After reiterating to them that there had been a misrepresentation that we would be in two double cabins, they offered to incentivise the third person by way of a discount to share sleeping quarters with the crew or for them to sleep on deck. This did not provide a guaranteed outcome. Luckily this situation was resolved because the company said that they would now be using a different ship (Hera as opposed to Aphrodite) which had two double cabins that the two couples (us) could inhabit. I don’t know whether this was by accident or design, but this poor administration caused us a lot of unnecessary stress beforehand. Sleeping: In Ios where the boat was docked the water was very choppy creating frequent vibrations making it very hard to have a continuous night’s sleep. In Ios we noticed that there were other boats docked a short distance away where the water was a lot calmer and where there was unlikely to be this problem. I don’t know whether different docking stations vary in price based on this factor, but with the cabins being below deck on the Hera Ship, beware that you may not have a smooth night’s sleep. Hygiene: When you flushed the toilet on these ships, pieces of faeces ended up flowing back up the toilet. The Yolo Cruises do not have a daily cabin cleaning service so the bins with all the toilet paper (as you cannot dispose this down the ship’s toilets) get rather full. Despite their not being a daily cleaning service, my girlfriend informed me that the cabin was poorly cleaned prior to entry. For example there were some bits of tissue she had to pick up off the bathroom floor. In addition there were occasions where the table on the deck had not been cleaned. This was a bit off putting as it was a surface where you placed your plate and drink down to eat breakfast. Clear instructions: On occasion there was a lack of clear instruction with regard to meeting points and times that we would depart making it difficult to plan. An example of this was on Sunday 16 September where there was no clear instruction of what time we had to be at the old port in Santorini. The same situation occurred where due to not being able to sail from Ios to Mykonos (further details of this below), there was no clear information provided regarding being at the ferry point for departure. Unable to sail: We were unable to go to Naxos and Paros. This was due to alleged poor weather conditions. Sail in Greece are entitled to vary the route due to poor weather, and to sail or not to sail is at the captain’s discretion. The weather was pretty windy on some days but due to our experience of the poor administration we are sceptical as to whether this discretion was properly exercised. My advice is to be wary that you may not cover the entire itinerary advertised. Management of behaviour: Whilst the company cannot legislate for the behaviour of their tourists on board, there could be better management in some respects of the tourists on board. Whilst a BYOB policy has its advantages, individuals having access to alcohol 24-7 from the boats fridge leads to certain people drinking too much and this can lead to accidents. For example on our ship one individual was pushed overboard and ended up suffering concussion. Nicholas

Condor ferries cancelled both our crossings to Jersey, and don't appear to be available to discuss our refund . The phone line is occupied for at least 60 mins waiting and their email promises of getting back within 3 days is absolute nonsense. I'm extremely concerned about getting my money back since they do not appear to be contactable.

I made a RETURN booking with AFerry for the 2nd May and understandably It was cancelled due to COVID 19. AFerry offered a refund VOUCHER but only for the OUTWARD journey. Apparently they are treating it as two separate bookings which they were not. How am I supposed to use the return booking when I have not travelled there? I understand that if I had booked directly with Brittany Ferries both journeys would have been credited and a cash refund would have been available. I will never use AFerry again! I purchased tickets from Aferry to travel from Japan to South Korea. When I purchased the tickets from Aferry I MADE SURE to read all the information provided to ensure that I wouldn’t miss the ferry. In regards to the departure of the ferry, they gave me only two pieces of information. 1. Ferry’s departure time 12:30 2. It was mentioned in this exact wording “Check in is at least 90 minutes prior to departure.” Based on this vague information. I turned up at the ferry desk at 12.12 and was refused to board the vessel. A laminated sheet of paper was shown to me by the ferry staff which said “Check in time: 10:30am-12:10. Check-in closes 20 minutes prior to departure" Even though I was only 2 minutes late and it was physically possible for me to board the ferry the ferry company would not let me board. The information Aferry provided was vague and not even correct. Check in time started 120 minutes before departure (not 90) and ended 20 minutes prior to departure. This CRITICAL information was NOT given to me by AFerry. A cut off time for boarding you would think is important? When I book train, plane or bus tour tickets etc this information is always provided. But with Aferry, apparently it's ok not to tell people about this. I have sent several emails to Aferry asking for a refund but they are saying it’s my fault. This situation obviously caused me enormous grief as I was stranded in Japan for an extra night and my contact was waiting for me in South Korea to pick me up from the ferry terminal. I booked the tickets in advance to save money and now I was forced to pay more than double to book tickets on the more expensive ferry the next day. AFerry you are NOT the worlds leading ferry website, you are a sham, dodgy company with no consideration for the damage you cause to people through your lax business practices and it will come back and hit you in the head one day and I'll be laughing. You can still refund me AFerry and avoid the bad Karma before it's too late.

5 min too late with check in because one guest in the row had problems handling the automate. We had to pay a second amount of 96 Euro...bad service!

Seemed unable to influence or help with the charter company lack of flexibility until the last minute. Had used Late Sail twice before and been good but this time far less effective I lost £3000 as a result and the holiday was a disaster The good news was that Top Yacht and EGG yachting were able to help, showing flexibility and responsiveness. Whilst £3000 was lost with Latesail, at least we got 8 people on the water It seems I'm not the only one to have been let down in this way Booking direct would have saved me £3000

One of the main attractions was the price offered for such an extensive trip, the only downside was the crazy schedule for returning home...some 48 hours ridiculous. I would rather pay extra and have the shortest traveling time possible. Why would you spoil the enjoyment of a holiday by having a nightmare travelling for 2 days in the end?

Booked a cruise from Westminster pier for two with dinner and entertainment from a lovely helpful girl Danni.she arranged drinks ,window seat ,and priority boarding as special treat as for my wife's birthday. We arrived at the appointed time and Danni escorted us to the front where she handed us over to the reception staff.Unfortunately they had no record of our booking and thought we must have booked the dinner and jazz cruise for another boat,we insisted that we had not and as it was getting embarrassing holding up everyone else from boarding we decided to find Danni to clarify things. Danni confirmed on her computer that the booking was correct and took us back to the boat and showed the boarding staff the booking,they called over the captain to ask could we be accommodated he refused point blank and told Danni it was her problem and she should deal with it leaving the poor girl in tears,this man would obviously be better suited working for the P&O line rather than in the pleasure cruise business.Thankfully the captain of the jazz cruise boat was more than helpful and between him and Danni they arranged a wonderful evening which we thoroughly enjoyed with an excellent jazz band.It's just a pity that the experience was ruined by one arrogant bully.

We booked and paid for Friday to Sunday evening stay in Guernsey. On arrival at hotel Duke of Normandy,an email was waiting for us ,informing us of change of return trip.from Sunday evening 4-25 sailing arriveing at POOLE at 7-00 to leaving Guernsey at 10-35 all night sailing and arriveing at PORTSMOUTH 6-30 on the Monday morning,with s 1/30 hour drive home. Not excepable !! As we both had work that morning ,plus my dog was in kennels.so we had to come home Saturday 4th .your poor excuse was "storm brewing" looked on internet and no such thing.

We had a very nice time but are having trouble recouping the expenses for the extra days we had to stay due to storm Gareth - we had to pay for an additional 2 days which we were not expecting to as we could not get home. The hotel was very helpful but we have had little luck with getting our money refunded!!

We have not ventured on our cruises as yet, as it is for February and March 2020 Sydney to Perth then Perth to Sydney. Have been told when we looked at these cruises that there was on board credit, since this was booked we have been told no on credit. We have since seen the cruise from Sydney to Perth has a flight and hotel stay included in Sydney. Have paid $2000 for deposit non refundable.

Total let down in Gibraltar the coach never turned up for our excursion. Several upset people contacted their emergency number but offered little or no advice as to what was going on. Continued on our cruise sent numerous emails back to the UK. Finally received an acknowledgement email stating further time was needed to investigate, Not sure how long it takes to phone their operations in Gibraltar but ha ho. After getting back it took further emails without any replies. After my online searching, I finally started emailing the heads of departments directly. Within 24 hours I received a refund and an apology, but no explanation as to what went wrong. They defiantly need to get their Customer Services upgraded. Will seriously think twice of ever booking with this company again. Our short time in Gibraltar was totally ruined.

My wife and I booked a number of guided tours with Cruising Excursions throughout our Italy and Greek islands cruise. However, because of high winds, the schedule was changed repeatedly - sometimes at the last minute. Cruising Excursions kept pace with all the changes and replanned dates and times to suit - keeping us fully informed along the way. All tours were extremely interesting and well planned with friendly and very knowledgeable local guides. I will certainly use them again and highly recommend that you give them a try!

We just took the Montenegro coast cruise in May 2019. It was wonderful. The captain and crew were totally dedicated to making the 12 passengers as comfortable as possible. We were very late arriving due to flight delays and our crew had full meal waiting when we arrived after mid night. The chef was amazing. Swimming off the boat was unforgettable. The boat was so much fun. Met terrific people. Just a great experience. DM Yachting staff all terrific.

I would definitely recommend an Emerald river cruise. It is very relaxing. The meals were excellent and there was a great selection of both buffet food and at dinner. The entertainment was good and the excursions were well organised. The ship was very clean in all areas. We had a great nights sleep in the comfortable beds.

firstly recorded messages in Spain only are useless when one only speaks English. also do as you say you will do, if you are sending a service person for a one hour journey then they should be there within say 2 hours, not 4.5 hours later and also with no updated phone calls. we had problems with the vessel which spoilt our holiday
