Honestly the worst customer service I have ever encountered. It takes a month to respond to an email and they aren’t capable of posting a cheque to refund me the balance of my account the took from my previous supplier. When I was transferred to them by ofgem they were described as “supplier of last resort” which I would wholeheartedly agree with! Stick to the reputable suppliers it is much simpler!!

I'm not with bulb, representatives came to my door and essentially tried to guilt me into switching, no introduction, nothing. I thought it was some kind of elaborate prank at first and then realised they were serious. Also upon further investigation, they lied to me about the prices I would have gotten with them as I went and checked myself. They were far more expensive

Whatever you do, do not buy from this company. They are rude, disrepectful and do not know how to talk to their customers. I had a small enquiry and thier response shocked me. The company is cheaper but it is definitely not worth the hassle they bring with that price.

I also left a review under charter cable because they are the same company and now go by charter spectrum. They falsely advertised to me internet service of 400/30 (400 download and 30 upload speed). However, after they installed it, i noticed that the speeds are nowhere near what they promised. This was especially true on the upload speed which never went over 17mbs. After working with three technicians and the customers service line, they all confirmed that only 400/20 was available and that 400/30 was never a legitimate offering. When I asked the sales rep for help, she was nasty and rude and basically said too bad. They said I can cancel the service and go elsewhere but they charged me $50 installation fee also which they will not refund. The sales rep said her director and company instructed her to sell 400/30. So they know they are lying but don't care. They are shady and cannot be trusted.

Do not buy from this retailer. Sent damaged goods and they didn’t respond to emails or telephone calls. I had to enter into DISPUTE RESOLUTION WITH PAYPAL and they still aren’t playing ball by confirming receipt of a tracked delivery. I’ve had to upload additional photos, to evidence the damage and the failure to respond and proof of return, to allow PayPal to assess the dispute. They’ve found in my favour. It’s an absolute disgrace. Save stress and money and time by not buying from this retailer. Genuinely the worst experience of buying online.

We visited The Lighting Centre Guildford in the later part of 2020 looking for suitable pendant fittings for our kitchen. The staff are extremely helpful, very knowledgeable and courteous. We proceeded with the order and the items were delivered speedily. There were a number of small manufacturing issues with the fittings which required some attention. The test of a good retailer is their post sales customer service. Lighting Centre Guildford resolved all the issues speedily and with great care and attention. A superb company and very highly recommended.

I needed a new doorbell and discovered Byron are the ubiquitous brand however there were too many poor reviews especially regarding the ease of installation. Finding a different brand proved surprisingly difficult until I came across Jeani sold by Lighting Spares. The doorbell was very easy to use install despite the fiddliness of small items. Regarding the company, I found Lighting Spares to be efficient. The package was well wrapped without being excessive. In today's world of big vendors, it's nice to find a smaller company who provides a good deal and service.

Excellent customer service! I was very impressed with the customer service from this place. I had a problem with one of the items in my order (a slight manufacturing defect). I sent them an email explaining the problem, and received a proper (human) reply in 3 mins offering to sort the issue out! Not long after I received a phone call to arrange the replacement, followed by an email with a tracking number. Amazing and rapid customer service! I'll definitely be ordering from them again.

I have tried reaching out several times to fix this issue but they are impossible to get a hold of. Additionally, the fixture quality was terrible. Ordered a 50 pack of 4x DVD-R's knowing they had a less than average rating. Still they did there job. I got a confirmation email and another email to tell me they shipped it. I ordered some Phillips DLP TV lamps from Discount TV Lamps (Discount Merchant). The transaction was cleared as of December 14, 2011 and the item arrived on January 7th, 2012… 3.5 weeks??!! I called several times but unfortunately wasn’t able to get in touch with anyone and therefore had to leave a number of messages. When I finally got a hold of someone, they gave me excuses to why the processing time was delayed and why the package hasn’t been shipped. On another note: I provided an alternate credit card, requesting that it be charged to the new credit card provided and they still charged it on the original credit card. Before I order from here, I would think twice about purchasing from this company.

I spoke with Ed on the phone last week, and placed an order for a new steering wheel and some other items for my e92 M3. Great service, nice guy. When the wheel showed up, it was just as pictured on the website. One of the items was missing from my order, so emailed and Gavin got back to me in less than 5 hours and explained to me it shipped in a different box. He was right, it arrived the next day. EDIT: Just received a call from Mike regarding my incident after I had emailed them.He told me that he reviewed the call and that he was glad I brought this to their attention. He profusely apologized and stated that this behavior of this particular employee is not representative of Bimmian as a whole and that he will take disciplinary action against this employee. I have updated the ratings. Original review below: --------------- I called the sales number to inquire about a license plate holder and it's fitment on a specific bumper. The person who answered (I forget the name, it was a man) seemed nice enough at first. He seemingly puts me on "hold" (but fails to mute the phone) to ask his coworker about the "junk plastic part that goes on the front end". He then states "here it is under the scroll down menu... ZHP bumper... is this kid (referring to me) ****ing stupid or what?". I did not continue the call and immediately hung up. Just wanted to throw it out there that there is an employee in your sales department that refers to customers as "****ing stupid" and calls products listed on your website as "plastic pieces of junk". If it's junk, why is it $100? Unfortunately, you lost a customer because of this and I'll do my best to make sure others in the E46 community aware of this maltreatment by Bimmian.com employees and refer them to your competitors. In fact, I called a competitor website and the person was the complete opposite in terms of behavior and answered all of my questions respectfully.

I placed an order November 9th, they took my money, now it is January 13th and I still have no bulbs, no refund, no communication whatsoever. Google now shows the location as "permanently closed" but their website will still take your money. All of their voicemail boxes are full so there is no way for me to get my money back. YLighting advertised a sale starting 29Feb with a mailer catalogue to me showing specific fixtures, lamps and discounts. I called and talked with Sales at YLighting a day before the sale about the Tolomeo Classic Lamp that they advertised. The agent checked the item and gave me the earliest time I could place my order for the sale discount. I was not told however until after I placed my order that it would take 4-5 weeks for YLighting to ship the item. At this point, I half expect YLighting to notify me in a few more weeks that the item is no longer available, and to then offer me a substitute fixture. If that is the case, then it is really not worth the effort and insignificant discount to even open YLighting's mail flyer.

The picture showed a light fixture, but the small print was describing a battery. I think the picture of a battery would have been a better choice for making sure that the correct product could be ordered. My LED lights had wolves on them which makes them intrinsically sweet and worth 5 stars by themselves, but once I tried them on, that's when the magic happened. After checking to ensure that the LED lights would properly cover my girth, I walked from my trailer to Wal-mart with the wolf LED lights on and was immediately approached by women. The women knew from the wolf-lights that I, like a wolf, am a mysterious loner who knows how to 'howl at the moon' from time to time (if you catch my drift!). The women that approached me wanted to know if I would be their boyfriend and/or give them money for something they called "meth". I told them no, because they didn't have enough teeth, and frankly a man with wolf-light LED's shouldn't settle for the first thing that comes to him. I arrived at Wal-mart, mounted my courtesy-scooter (walking is such a drag!) sitting side saddle so that my wolves would show. While I was browsing tube socks, I could hear aroused asthmatic breathing behind me. I turned around to see a slightly sweaty dream in sweatpants and flip-flops standing there. She told me she liked my wolf-light LEDs, I told her I wanted to howl at her moon. She offered me a swig from her mountain dew, and I drove my scooter, with her shuffling along side out the door and into the rest of our lives. Thank you Holiday LEDs!. Pros: Fits my girthy frame, has wolves on it, attracts women Cons: Only 3 wolves (could probably use a few more on the 'guns'), cannot see wolves when sitting with arms crossed.

I have been a customer of Andrews Light Up for many years. Whilst preparing for house renovations the electrician recommended another lighting company at Brendale. I considered this option but returned to the Carseldine shop. A new staff member assisted with my selections but unfortunately did not process the order correctly. The impact of this issue could have meant a delay in the renovation timeline. But thanks to the staff at the store, especially Sharon my lights and bits and bobs arrived in time. I have found Sharon very personable with a thorough knowledge of lighting products and ability to offer other suggestions for lighting options 'outside the square'. Just one 'but' ... in all of the previous weeks dashing in and out of a variety of stores, making purchases for the house renovations Andrews is the only store where there is no sanitiser provided for customers.

I ordered 7 Casablanca fans complete with controls, blades and light fixtures from Del Mar Designs. After talking to many web retailers, I settled on Del Mar Designs. They appeared to have more knowledge of the product line than other retailers. In retrospect, I made the right choice. Their Sales Person, Ron, was very helpful both before and after the sale. He arranged to have my fans shipped by UPS Freight, rather than UPS or other method. This meant that they were shipped on a pallet. The shipment arrived intact 2 weeks after placing the order. In installed them all myself. Casablanca really makes a quality product, and I can think of no better place to order them from than Del Mar Designs.

Being informed by a Del Mar sales rep that the Wave is a very quiet fan suitable for a bedroom as well as a study, we ordered 2, being told that we could return them. After installing the one in the study, we found the fan way too noisy for a bedroom and returned it. We were not prepared for a $60 FedEx fee. Could Del Mar not have sent a return label at their rates? Even deducting the postage cost from the refund? Not a very transparent process. Perhaps fans should advertise decibel levels at different speeds?

My original web order was easy to submit and was processed quickly. The bulbs I ordered arrived quickly. Unfortunately I discovered that I ordered the wrong product by mistake. I contacted customer service to arrange for a return. There was a slight delay before I was provided RMA instructions, but I now understand that this was due to a third party. In the end electricbargainstores did provide the RMA details and I returned the items. I will be reordering the correct bulbs and look forward to working with electricbargainstores again. I do recommend them.

I received the wrong finial. I emailed and didn't hear back, I phoned and was told to email, I emailed and did receive word that I would receive the correct finial. I waited two weeks and did not receive the correct finial. I emailed and did not hear back. I'm not able to get through using the phone number on the website. Extremely dissatisfied. I would like the correct finial so if customer service can assist I would appreciate it.

Unfortunately, the shade I received was described as "off white" and it was pure white which was not what I needed. However, I returned it w/o a problem and got a quick refund. Good company to deal with.

I ordered two track lights, gave the sales rep (who shall go nameless, 4 letters, starts with a D) the number of the one I needed to replace. She then sent fixtures that didn't fit the track. (Company handled the return and credit very well.) Three months, several photos and many calls later, I spoke to a different rep, Brian, who seemed to find the proper fixture within two minutes. They're on order. We'll see, but I'm hopeful.

I bought a twin pond oxygenator which was faulty, my phone call was directed to email only. Three emails have been sent, non have been replied to or have the decently to acknowledge receipt and I’am out of pocket with now redress. Not to be trusted !

Gave the Team here a 'FIVE' from a first time buyer. Super responsive for my samples request and order fulfilment even during such extraordinary times we are in. I ordered some LED bulbs from Maxxima style last week. The bulbs that arrived were not as described on their web page. They were worse in wattage, light output and dimmability. I looked up the web page and their order confirmation. The order was in their system correctly. In these days of bar codes and automation, such errors are rare. It sure looks like they shipped me what they wanted to get rid of, instead of what I ordered. So .... watch out.

Having lived in Devon for just 30 years now we have found it hard to find a Retail shop that offers a wide choice of quality lighting and furnishing's. We now consider we have that outlet - Amos Lighting and Home at Topsham, which means less travelling up Country. The layout is superb it allows you to wander and not feel intimidated. The staff there are courteous, with great knowledge of the products. At no time have we felt pressurised to purchase anything, in fact we feel we are more able to visit the showroom and come away to consider what we feel we would like to buy. With changing stock it is also a shop to re-visit for new ideas and products. All staff that have assisted us so far need a mention and would recommend anyone to visit and give them a chance to show you that you do need them to advise you on lighting!

Since moving to the area in December 2016 we have visited Amos Lighting on many occasions, sometimes for the purpose of browsing and others for purchasing. We always had 1st class customer service. I will particularly mention Ashton and William who advised us on numerous occasions. As another reviewer has already commented, at no point were we put under pressure to purchase. William in particular provided us with much advice and when we were really struggling to sort shades for lights in our lounge he was most helpful. Following his suggestion we took photos of our lounge and when he viewed them he was able to offer great advice, the end result being purchase of 2 shades. We also purchased display units from Amos and even though there was an issue on delivery this was swiftly resolved by William. He always kept us well informed about delivery and the progress of issues to be resolved. I would not hesitate to recommend Amos to anyone looking for lighting solutions just a bit different from the norm. The showroom at Topsham is a real Aladdin's Cave and is well worth a visit. Parking is always available.

What a rubbish company What a rubbish company. Made a purchase for a set of lights and ended up with nothing. Upon further queries, it was found that they DIDNT PROVIDE my full address to DPD who also couldnt deliver. DPD have had to send the shipment back, according to them, to Germany and then to Spain. I am now waiting for my money to be returned. I lost out on a contract as a result of their incompetence. Avoid at all cost. If only I had read reviews earlier

?Purchased from Ledkia UK, didnt know items were coming from Spain. Was told courier failed to deliver (impossible! We're open 6am-8pm 7 days) then LEDKIA refused to entertain the notion of a refund until they had received the items back and checked them. I ordered these now over 2 weeks ago and i'm STILL waiting! Since them I have found a better company to use from Amazon with much better quality tape, and cheaper! GET IT SORTED!

Update from previous review (below): I was contacted by LightingTheWeb customer service this week (Aug 8, 2011). It appears they have had some challenges with one of their product providers who indicated to them that they had shipped replacement fans, when in fact, they had not. LightingTheWeb indicates they have credited my AMEX for the total amount. I appreciate that they took this action. It does appear that LightingTheWeb was trying to provide good customer service, but that they were being undermined by one of their providers who repeatedly dropped the ball. I appreciate that ResellerRatings.com and LightingTheWeb.com provided a communication channel to solve this problem. ______________________________ I purchased two ceiling fans from Lighting the Web. After installing the fans, the deep humming sound was terrible. I could literally hear them through the entire house. I called customer service and was promised replacement fans. Nothing came. I sent email follow ups- nothing. I called again and was promised the replacements had indeed been shipped this time. Nothing arrived. That is when I realized I was simply being played a sucker. I have several others fans from Lowes and Home Depot, and I would recommend you go there and that you not use Lighting the Web. My experience is Lighting the Web has no customer service, but instead just folks who make false promises hoping you just go away as I did. I buy a lot of products online and this is without question, the worst experience I have had.

I make nearly 75% of all my purchases online and Lighting the Web has got to be the worst company yet! Nothing NEVER happens like they say...Seven Days Shipping? Don't believe it! I placed an order on July 24...today is September 12 and I still do not have my product! When I look online my order says "processing" and has been saying this for well over a month now! Stay away from this Company!! Lighting the Web's response was not truthful. I was in the middle of a remodel...if the lighting was out of stock when I tried to purchase it, don't you think I would have chosen another item? Also, I was told the back order would arrive by 8/28...that didn't happen and no one called or emailed. As for emails referenced in their response...I did not get them either. I have my lighting now...very nicely shipped and very good product but customer service is extremely poor. If you have alot of time to wait for your lighting and don't mind calling THEM for updates...it's worth an order but if you expect to order and be contacted if there is a problem with the order shipping when expected...look elsewhere.

I recently purchased a triple pendant light and was so happy until I noticed one of the glass shades had a mark on it. I receive excellent customer service and the faulty shade was collected and a replacement sent out in days. Considering the difficult times we are all in I have to say how impressed I am with Jim Lawrence company. The quality of the light is outstanding and I would thoroughly recommend Jim Lawrence. I will definitely be returning for more products. Very satisfied customer.

BEWARE: The product is of cheap quality, all plastic. Korona sun shaped Led ceiling lamp, dimmable. Once installed via an electrician the unit was defective one of the filliment would not light up. Contacted company and was sent out another unit, was told to dispose of the unit as it does not make sense paying for the shipping back of a defective unit. A month later I now receive numerous emails requesting me to send back the unit and they are now threating me with dept recovery. So now I'm in a situation to now pay them for their defective unit. £79.90 for cheap plastic, even the chrome is plastic, appalling products. Good Luck.....

Ordered 2 lights for living room both were faulty got 2 more replacements both were faulty ! That’s 4 lights in total had to give up and go to b and q to get lights that worked. This company is selling low quality lights at inflated prices and it’s not a a uk company never ind the cost of the lights had to have 3 visits from an electrician as well . You have been warned

Thought I would try fitting LEDs to improve lighting of the heater control panel in my Fiat Uno. Also wanted a brighter interior roof light. My order was dealt with efficiently and delivered free within a couple of days. The result is excellent and achieved just what I hoped for. Only problem is that I ordered the wrong length festoon bulb for the roof light - entirely my own fault as measurements are clearly stated on website. Have managed to make it work by bending back terminals but need to be more careful next time!

I purchased a pair of LED bulbs to upgrade the lights on my vehicle, and although they "disagreed" with my auto headlights, a quick call to the company and additional parts were dispatched to make them "agree". Took no time at all to fit the new parts, and now they work perfectly, and are a huge inprovement on standard lights. Customer satisfaction is the number one priority for them, and they don't disappoint.

Also had to chase about returning due to all 3 glass shades being chipped... sent pictures and followed up time after time after time... nothing.. didn’t return calls or answer emails. Credit card company couldn’t help due to individual prices being less than the minimum... so unless your good are perfect when they arrive stay well clear.

This company sells lights that they don't have in stock and take your payment but keep you waiting with no delivery time scales at all. They also dont refund when lights are delivered damaged. I have had to open a paypal dispute to try and claim my money back for a damaged light after purchasing 5 lights from them. Customer service is shocking. They have now had my return since the 16th and have still not refunded me the £114 and havent responded to paypal. Avoid buying from this company

I ordered 3ft. of rope lights.When they arrived I discovered that they do not fit my project.I called your company for return information and was told that they were not returnable because they were custom made.Problem?For starters,your web site DID NOT mention that the lights had to be custom made and,as such, were not returnable!I found this out when I called your company for return instructions.I should have been advised by your company of this information BEFORE your company went ahead and custom made the light string,OR the information should have been,OR should be on your web site.I still believe that I should be able to return the lights for a refund,minus your restocking fee based on the these facts.As it stands,it is an unfair business practice.I should have had the return information BEFORE I made the decision to buy.Further,I never authorized the light string to be custom made.No one called,or wrote me advising of this.Someone else in your company made that decision for me and it is WRONG from start to finish!---David L.Biskner,A.A.S.

I had problems with my kit when I first bought it,then had one of the Representatives tell me that the extra lights I wanted to order for my kit wouldn't fit on my car and he wouldn't let me order them. Really. I ended up talking to a manager and after 45 minutes on the phone they let me order my lights. Then I had a light go out and I needed a replacement light and I paid for their priority shipping offered on their site which is usually 3 to 5 days but after 5 days my light is still in New Jersey. I call USPS to find out why it's still in New Jersey but can't get anyone on the phone so I call Ledglow to see if they can help me and all they can tell me is you'll have to wait for it to show up everybody's having shipping delays. Wait your website told me that if I pay this money here I'll get my light sooner and now you're telling me sit and wait you won't even put in a phone call to find out where my light is or why it's still in New Jersey after a week? Absolutely ridiculous horrible customer service will never purchase another light from these people again!! Oh and the control module for the lighting kit always goes out on me! $75 for it to not work properly but it started going out 3 days after the warranty ended much like the light bars that lasted 2 months after the warranty ended which is why I had to buy the replacement light to begin with. FIND ANOTHER COMPANY TO BUT LIGHTS FROM!!

Be sure to video or photograph your entire installation complete with photos of voltage tests with a voltmeter at all points just in case one of their components is faulty. They will want photos of actual voltmeter readings or a photo of their burned out lights trip before they will help you. Taking photos or video along the way may save you lots of time when dealing with product support. Or better yet, buy from one of their competitors instead.

I wish I could leave 0 stars. This is a TERRIBLE company. Avoid them at all costs. They sell junk and if you try to return it they claim that most of your purchase price was a non-refundable "shipping fee." I wish I'd checked the reviews before buying from them.

I ordered a mirror and immediately realized it would not work. I called to cancel the order but customer service was closed. I left a message via email. I called again first thing in the morning and they were still closed. I called a third time and finally spoke with some one who told me that the shipment was already on the truck to transport to Fed Ex but she would put in an expedited cancellation. Much later in the day I got 2 emails saying they couldn’t stop the shipment. I then called fed ex when I got the tracking number to cancel via them. I was told there was a Special instruction that I could not cancel the shipment only lamps plus could. I tried to stop delivery via Fed Ex and got the same response. I have concluded that lamps plus wants ME to pay for the return shipping even though at any point they could have called Fed Ex and stopped the shipment but refused to do so. They have lost a long time customer. I’ll NEVER purchase from them again!

LampsPlus is a great resource for both lighting and decor accessories. I've purchased several lamps AND fixtures in a wide range of prices. I expect something to look like it cost considerably more than I paid! LampsPlus absolutely meets this expectation offering an easy to use website and ginormous selection and prices for every budget. DO NOT waste your time buying ordinary and boring lighting at big box stores when LampsPlus offers so, so much more. I recently ordered my first item from their accessory line. Decorative candle holders which happened to go with my bedroom decor. They were on sale for $19.00 each and I was admittedly suspect of the quality. To say I was surprised and delighted was an understatement. I felt like that tv ad lady who thought she got such a deal she might be arrested. Joking! But you won't be disappointed with LampsPlus. I used them to update a home we were selling and light our entirely custom dream home and now another life transition and renovate an existing home. I was invited to share my views so here it goes. I purchased a sample of the LED strip lights over the phone after speaking to customer services. They were very helpful in helping me choose the correct size, wattage and the colour for my patio. The 2 metre sample was well packaged and worked straight out of the box as hoped. I must admit the light blew me away as it was better than I had expected. Decided to purchase another 50m and could not be happier with the results. The only thing I will add is that the profiles are a must as they really compliment the neon strip light and hold it in place well. The one advice I was given is that the ends of the strip needed to be made waterproof with a waterproof silicone as it was being used outside. So, well done guys for the support and I would highly recommend this company to anyone without hesitation.
