I shopped around for several days searching for a specific type of foam-filled box, and had settled on one or two brands. After several days of shopping, I found an excellent priced on Ellis products from this vendor. I ordered on line and received the four tool boxes, drop shipped from the manufacturer to me in Ohio in two days. They shipped Fed Ex and I was advised by e-mail as to when to expect the delivery. The boxes were in excellent condition, and exactly as I had ordered. I suspect this company drop ships from the manufacturers a lot, but that is fine with me, as the manufacturers know how to package their own products. I will order from this company again, I am certain.

Lost $780 because an item was discontinued one month ago ... we have a receipt and they won't honor the return Jerry was less than sympathetic, claiming he couldn't do anything and the owners were all on vacation. I spoke with him before going in to do the return and he said No Problem!!! Different story when we drove an hour to get there. Horrible customer service!!! Found Costal Tool with Google Shopping looking for a Milwaukee Drill 2401-22 and Bit set 48-32-1500. They had the best prices anywhere on the net for both items. I made the order and had it 3 days later. Easy website to use, super fast shipping, great packing and low prices. Will definitely do business again with them. Costal tool is 5 stars in my book.

I have to agree with few of the below comments, reaching this company is little diffuculy. I had to change the ship to address and ship it directly to the client and tried to reach them but was unable. I sent an email to [email protected] and they finally changed it and for the inconvenience to reach them they shipped the order overnight at no extra charge, so experience was not so bad.

Placed an order with this company through Amazon Marketplace on 12/10 for an in-stock item. Delivery was to be between 12/16 and 12/19. Never received an order acknowledgment or shipping status from KVM. Have written to KVM twice through Amazon inquiring about order with no response at all.

I have bought a lot of reconditioned tools from this site. I have never had an issue with any of the products purchased. Recently I bought a disc sander but didn't try using it right away. When I did I found that it was not able to turn on. I called them to see what I could do about exchange or replacement. They sent me a shipping label and refunded my money. Great service. I will purchase another sander from them for sure. great company.

You wanted to know how to better serve your customers next time due to my order cancellation... I ordered a simple Chicago pneumatic die grinder from your online site on the 19th... Says nothing on your site about stock levels and such. Received an email shortly after paying with my debit card giving my order number and one would assume the order went through fine... I paid for the 3 day shipping and expected the grinder in the middle of the following week as I placed the order on a Friday night after hours. After 3-4 days passed with no other contact or form of movement on my order or tracking information whatsoever, I contacted some service rep by phone (a female I don't know her name) and she informed me that the grinder was not in stock and it would be coming from northern California from Bosch and since it wasn't much of a distance from your establishment it should be in by Wednesday and ship out to me from there... At this point I expected to receive the grinder late the same week or by this past Monday the 29th at the absolute latest... I am a relatively patient person and was trying to be understanding and reasonable in the shipping times, etc... I waited days more and when I heard absolutely nothing and saw no movement whatsoever in the tracking or information on your site I called again Monday the 29th... This time I spoke to a guy that seemed to be on the ball and he informed me that the previous lady didn't know what she was talking about regarding the tool coming from Bosch, as it isn't even a Bosch tool, but a Chicago pneumatic... I agreed and told him I didn't understand that myself but assumed she knew her business... He then rambled about your store just started carrying Chicago Pneumatic not long ago and it must not be entered right in the system yet and blah blah... He then told me that he would personally fax Chicago Pneumatic and get the tool drop shipped from them directly to my residence, hence saving the time of shipping to you and then on to me. I was grateful when it seemed things were handled and I expected to get the grinder later this week. Then today at work I got a voicemail message from the same guy telling me some bullshit about my card was declined and I would have to set up a paypal account and pay through that and to call him back... I called him back after work and was put on hold by some asshole that I could barely understand or even hear and sat on hold for almost 10 minutes. Some other guy then answered the line and began rambling almost incoherently about Carbide Blade sharpening and I had to interrupt him twice to try and tell him he was speaking to the wrong person and or line. He then placed me back on hold for a couple minutes until I hung up and called back and was again placed on hold, only for a couple minutes this time before a lady answered and told me my debit wouldn't run and wanted to know if it was the right address. I informed her that it was a good account, set up correctly, and that I utilize it to make in person purchases as well as online purchases and gas and grocery stores and food and on and on... I also prepared for the bullshit by personally checking on my account through my bank before I called after work and they verified everything is fine on my end. The money is there for the purchase and has been since I ordered on the 19th. She supposedly ran it again and mumbled something about paypal. I at this point gave up and washed my hands of your company and bullshit ordering practices. I then canceled the order with her and demanded a cancellation email notification to cover myself on this end. In researching your company record online before ordering, I found several instances and reviews of just this type of bullshit, even including a couple different people that actually had the payment taken from their accounts and then never even received the tool or product and then they had to fight to get resolution. I dismissed this as just an isolated incident and then it happened almost exactly the same to me. I have wasted over 11 days fucking around with this whole deal and now have to research another place to buy the grinder and have been borrowing another coworker's grinder at work for over a week. Your company had the best price I could find, I will freely admit that, and take some responsibility for trying to find a bargain, however, it does absolutely no good, if the product cannot be purchased and shipped out in a reasonable time and manner. I had told several coworkers about your site and they have been chomping at the bit so to speak to order their own, but have been waiting to see how this all turned out for me. Tomorrow morning, at work, I will be filling them all in on this experience and what a bunch of bullshit it turned out to be. You have lost my sale, and the potential to sell similar tools to a shop of over 700 people. I realize I have raved on, and normally wouldnt even bother,

I paid for 2 day Fedex service and received the tool in good condition. Also, the shipping prices were VERY reasonable, unlike many places. I will definitely shop here again.

I purchased a max 3001 harness kit from the people. It was supposed to be "Full body universal fit harness". It did not fit. It was too small. Hardware Sales did not respond to my emails for a refund or replacement. Now I am stuck with something I cannot use. Do not exepcet any customer service from Hardware Sales

Applied online for trade account, filled in form and submitted, email confirmation received advising that they will get back to me with 48 hrs / 2 days to confirm status of account. 1 week later I needed to hire so logged in to account The account showed as active so placed ordered, received email back to confirm order. I then received a call from customer service advising that the branch I ordered from did not have the items in stock, the customer service agent arranged stock from a different branch, Iater that day I received a cal from the Heathrow branch advising that they could not release the items due to an accounts issue and asked me to ring the account team at head office. I rang the accounts team at head office and they said there had been a back log but I would receive a call within the hour to advise on account status, I did not receive this call. Next day I called to find out what was happening, spoke to same lady who advised I would get a call within the hour day before, lady put me through to David in accounts/credit control. David asked if anybody called yesterday I said no that,s why I am calling today, David then advised that the under writers were unable to provide a credit account due to the company be newly formed and with no financial history. I said okay I understand but questioned why it had taken so long to get back to me and that I had wasted an whole day trying to get an answer and that the website should not have allowed me to place the order and confirm the order. David then became rude and started suggesting that my own personal finances were the reason, i said to David that he was wrong to divulge such comments over the phone and his tone was unnecessary. Overall this service was poor, I have concerns that I will raise with relevant authorities over Speedy Hire practices, particularly that that David in accounts/credit control divulge personal financial information over the phone but failed to carry out any security checks to verify who I was, I consider this to be a breach of data protection as they could have been speaking to anybody and information they provided was sensitive financial data. I was willing to continue to use Speedy hire on a PAYG basis however I will not use them what so ever, they are unprofessional and slow to deal with. You would have thought that speed of be able to set up an account and hire was the essence of their core business, their company name alludes to this, shame they do not live up to their name.

Ordered a jointer with a 3 month back order. When time for delivery approached I called to find out when it would be shipped. They told me there was a 2 month further delay. As the revised delivery approached I called them again and I was told of another 2 month delay. Ridiculous. I cancelled the order and ordered from a well known high end brand. Yeah, it cost more, but I received the jointer promptly. I've totally lost faith in Grizzly. Even if I had waited for their jointer, I'd be concerned that parts would be unavailable if I ever needed to make repairs. Grizzly didn't just loose one customer. It will be my mission to tell all of my woodworking friends, acquaintances, and students of my unpleasant experience. I don't like the way I was treated.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE MY SHIPMENT TO GET HERE! Every time I order directly from ToolOrbit it takes too long to deliver. On this particular order the parts were damaged. I sent an email with pictures and didn't get any response!! Not even a sorry!! I placed an order thru Amazon and Amazon ordered it thru ToolOrbit! That made me worry, "oh no! I'm not going to get my order for a few months and I need it right away!" But it was delivered in a timely matter. Why is it when I order thru Amazon it delivers it alot faster? Not sure if I will ever order thru ToolOrbit again.

I’ve a lot of makita tools they are hard to beat. Plunge saw , compound mitre saw various drills. Heavy duty breaker. Jig saw . They are brilliant. The only disappointment is their screw gun for fixing plaster boards. Constant jamming. I bought the mains version and theN the battery version and ended up binning both of them . Bought the senco screw gun and it’s brilliant.

I have been using Makita powertools for as long as I can remember and was never let down for their quality and efficiency. I mostly use their tools for working with wood, surfboard manufacture and DIY around the house which involves some drilling. Furthermore, Makitauk have always answered my questions and have an excellent customer support. I also use their tools in other European countries and have contacted Makita in other countries with a quick response. Their warranty is valid all around Europe as it has the CE certification. I'm very happy with Makita and would recommend them to anyone needing excellent tools for an excellent job done!

Faulty Item - No replacements given to customers Tool arrived with fault. (Dewalt) I had the tool a few days but this was the first use. Toolden refused to send replacement saying THEY NEVER REPLACE FAULTY TOOLS. The item has to be sent back to be repaired even though its BRAND NEW. The staff were ignorant, rude and had no consideration or understanding of consumer rights. As far as they are concerned their terms and conditions are law. Dreadful service leaving me without a brand new tool I paid for. I have no idea when it will be returned. Terrible company - stay with the professional tool suppliers who give a knowledgeable backup.

I Order a Dewalt 12 piece kit, We had a couple of issues but the staff are so polite and work really hard in the back office to locate (DPD) and or replace the missing item and the damaged item by the delivery company, I would recommend Toolden to my staff and friend in the trade.

After an exhausting attempt to locate or even get a possible future delivery date for a Ford 11050 dual fuel generator locally I expanded my search. Found Acme Tools online and after establishing they were not where Wiley Coyote buys his tools, just some humor to break the ice, I found them extremely helpful and courteous. Casey Pearson, their sales associate, knew there was a problem getting generators everywhere but were able to promise delivery in three weeks. They kept their word, generator arrived, free shipping, in two weeks from date ordered. Packaging was great received with no damage. After some minor assembly, wheels and handles, just hooked up a 20lb propane tank for a trial run. Pressed the electric start and it fired up the first try. Ran smooth and surprisingly quiet for a large generator. Very pleased with Acme Tools, Casey Pearson and delivery service.

In the middle of a home bathroom remodel project when my air compressor pressure regulator failed. Ordered a pair of regulators from Buckeye Tool Suppy using Prime. Great price. I'd think it was pretty reasonable that an item which comes with a battery would include the charger if it was necessary. When I voiced my disappointed they suggesteded I read the listing properly next time. Definitely wouldn't recommend them.

Don’t use this company. They may be the cheapest but.... I spent £270 on a Makita drill set (£10 cheaper than other suppliers) but when it arrived the picture on the box didn’t match the content so obviously not n original unopened Makita product. The drill developed a fault after a week and after some email exchanges they said they would collect it. I waited in for two days and eventually they said I would have to send it back myself. Then I heard nothing for over 2 weeks so I called them and they said they couldn’t replace it as it was longer than 30 days. After an argument with them they said they would send me a replacement that day. Then they returned the original saying there was nothing wrong with it. Probably just needs replacement brushes but after being used twice??!! Use a proper company and pay the extra £10.

Virtually all of my cordless power tolls are dewalt and for good reason, I have a dewalt kit I bought in 1998 ( torch, drill, circular saw, jig saw and aligator saw), among other newer technogies. I changed the batteries in 2011 ( yes you are reading correctly) and the charger in 2015. I use them porfessionally and ALL are still working today! Can't say fairer than that!

Avoid as they miss lead you on there advertised stock .I ordered a Milwaukee ads drill stated it came with grease and HD box and after looking around only company offering HD box ,grease so decided even though it was more expensive than others wanted HD box so brought item of them and no HD box or grease contacted them told me they would resend and pick up item so another week wasted so put of job ,replacement came no HD box etc contacted again only to be told it was a mistake on there advert .If you look it states on website they can change or item may not be as described so basically no come back

Ordered a new hardware floor nailer from them which had a 50% off coupon. Shipping info was sent later that day but the tracking info has never been updated, the nailer hasnt arrived (it is now 2 days late) and they arent answering emails. Edit: They finally answered my email but only after threatening to do a chargeback and was told that the nailer is being dropshipped from the manufacturer. They should never have said it was shipped since it clearly wasnt. Edit2: After a glitch with Fedex delivering my package to the wrong address I have the tool in hand and it was packaged fine. I have updated my scores appropriately.

I have been buying tools from Big Sky Tool for about 6 or 7 years. The name used to be something different other than Big Sky. I have purchased 5, 18 volt battery drills, a 4.5 inch corded grinder, one half inch cordless impact, corded jig saw, 15 amp circular saw, one half inch corded hammer drill and a three eighths corded drill. All of the tools were reconditioned. I am very and I mean very happy with all the tools purchased. Thank you Big Sky Tool. Big Sky did not ask me to write this.

I placed my order on a Saturday evening and first thing Monday morning received an email from them that apologized for their error, they had thought they had my part in stock but would have to order it and would ship it as soon as they could. I found it refreshing to not receive the run around or some other lame excuse/reason for the delay or worse no correspondence at all leaving the customer wondering what the heck is taking so long. It told me they likely have real, live, HONEST human beings running things there and sure enough I received my order that Friday. Excellent quality, exactly what I ordered/needed. Worked perfectly. I purchased a 1/8" $3.22 Bosch Jigsaw blade lock screw. The shipping was $11.71 and was sent in a letter sized mail envelope $.66 cents postage. I was disappointed the actual shipping cost was this high. Although the part was needed and delivered the cost to ship was way over the top. Not a good value for the money spent

I placed an order on 12th July, expecting my order to arrive 2-7 working days from then, as I’m located in the Perth Metro area. I was advised on the 15th July that there was a delay with my order as an item wasn’t in stock. After not hearing back for 4 working days, I emailed to find out the status of my order and explained to Andrew Watson that I needed my order by 26th July. He replied to advise me that my order would be dispatched that day and I would receive notification. When I received notification the following day, the ETA said 1st August. Confused, considering I had explained to Andrew the importance of receiving my order by the 26th July, I queried it. I was told that yes, that ETA was correct and Australia Post takes 10 working days for delivery... When I voiced my concern to Andrew about how I expected that considering the delay and the fact that the website says if an order item is out of stock that it will be marked as ‘priority goods’ and dispatched ASAP, I was in disbelief to have received no response. No apology. No express postage.

Placed an order 3 weeks ago and expected it to be despatched within a few days. Instead I had to wait for them to deposit money into my credit card and then verify the amount. This process took close to a week. Item was then despatched but it still hasn't turned up. Never doing this again, should have gone to Bunnings.

I was told by the rep. that MiraDust was obsolete/discontinued and so was steered to DiaGlo instead. What a disaster! I was only able to get back on track when I saw MiraDust on the shelf at a local business. That stuff is amazing!

I purchased a dewalt jigsaw from buyaparcel,the start of my problems .it has taken buyaparcel over 3 weeks to rectify.the item arrived after a few days with a clearly faulty battery,i notified buyaparcel and a swap it was arranged to replace faulty battery.delivery was arranged by buyaparcel which I had to take a day off work to hand over faulty battery but buyaparcel gave me tracking details that did not work.i stayed in all day no delivery.when I contacted buyaparcel the girl had to ask me for tracking details & could not track parcel.A return was arranged again by buyaparcel,parcel was collected nearly a week later when I contact buyaparcel im asked for tracking details for package this company arranged...eventually after over 3 weeks & down a days pay I received payment for faulty goods,,,in future I shall be staying with companys I can trust like toolstop & ffx to name but 2.i wont be dealing with buyaparcel again

It took me close to an hour to look for individual drill bits. I wanted small sizes, which I never did find. In the larger bits, you did not have 3 of the individual 1/2" drive bits that I wanted. I ended up purchasing a set of bits, that had 2 of the ones I was looking for. Your site does not recognize '1/4" drive drill bits" for a search.

I looked and looked for a beam type torque wrench for my VW wheel nuts. In the Army I had to calibrate click torque wrenches. They are for fools. A beam wrench requires "feel". Click torque wrenches wind up being reset to "zero" but not calibrated on a test stand. Good for you for carrying this wrench!

I am new to Elite Metal Tools, and they certainly won over a new customer. Thanks Scott! As for the Dake SE712, well, its just OK. I selected a Dake, as (I thought) they were all made in the USA...but not the SE712 or SE912 models. They are just another import machine; so I was a bit naive in my selection, but that is completely on me. The pallet arrived via FedEx Freight in perfect condition. The saw was well packed. Once unpacked, I found the configuration slightly different than the manufactures website description...the unit pictures at Dake had a front handle and the saw that arrived has this feature omitted (for safety purposes according to Dake and they have since removed that picture from their website). The instructions are nearly useless, you can tell they were not written in the USA. The saw teder-totters slightly on my shop floor, as the four wheels have no "slack" or adjustment that my previous saw's adjustable feet had. I'm guessing the fabrication of the base is not completely square, and there is no adjustment. The head bow blade guard cover was slightly warped, which cause minor interference when the saw closes and comes to rest on the base (which also has scratched the paint). I was able to bend it back in place to an acceptable position. The vertical table was missing the support bracket and hardware...of which I'm still trying to resolve with Dake. When opening up the saw head to the vertical position, there is a slight rocking of the entire head on the axle connecting it to the base of the machine. There is not adjustment to correct and the motor is so heavy, I am guessing the tolerance is not tight, hence cause the slight yielding. And with the machine on (4) wheels, it moves freely when working the head to align up for a cut. Again, it the front had footrest vice wheels, this wouldn't occur. Short of that, the saw did come equipped with a Lenox Classic bi-metal blade and a gallon of Trim Sol concentrate coolant solution. The operator controls are sealed in an industrial enclosure with industrial machine control buttons. In the initial test cuts to break in the blade, the down feed works well, but the auto stop needed slight adjustment. Although flimsy, the chip brush does an adequate job removing chips. The vice works well and fairly set up for accurate cuts. The belt guard cover is only attached with a pair of machine screws to the casting on the head, so it vibrates when the machine is running. I have made about (20) cuts in some mild steel square tubing to break in the blade and the saw has performed well. Out of curiosity, I compared my Dake to a Grizzly G0561 and found them to be the EXACT same machine (with some minor features like the control box, front handle, paint color!). In fact the parts manuals are the same exact document with the same numbers! To think for $900 less, I could of had the same machine in Green versus Black :( For now, I will settle for my purchase. And don't forget, Scott and Elite Metal Tools are AWESOME!!

I purchased an Oliver 4420 16' thickness planer from elite tools. Although I havent received the actual machine yet this is more a review of Elite Tools than it is the Oliver 4420. I will post a complete review of that machine once I get it. I contacted Elite Tools along with 4-5 other companies while doing research on the Oliver 4420. I had a very hard time finding information on this particular machine. I talked with three different people at Elite Tools at various different times and all three were polite, knowledgeable, and most of all helpful. I was given a very detailed quote by email within minutes after hanging up the phone. They were able to beat every other price I received. Other companies were $100-$500 dollars more expensive! So we are not talking just a couple of bucks here. Not sure how they were able to offer such a low price but I am not complaining. I was able to get my machines delivered to a residential area with lift gate service. I do not anticipate any issues but I am confident if there is an issue with the shipping help and a solution is just a phone call away. I would not hesitate to both recommend or use the company again if need be. I will update the post if anything takes place that changes my opinion but I don't anticipate that being the case.

I just retired and took over a lot of our yard work. I could not handle my husband's commercial grade trimmer & blower - they were way too heavy for me to handle. I purchased the battery operated light weight trimmer & blower. Best purchase I have made in a long time. I can now mow and finish up with the trimmer & blower. Before I had to rely on my husband to do it when he had the time since he is still working. Both do a great job!!!! Would highly recommend!!!!!

Catalogue clearly stated a Cordless Hedge Trimmer came with a Battery and Charger. A member of Staff later confirmed it, stating "it comes with everything listed in the catalogue". When it arrived 10 days later (not the promised 3 to 4 days) there was no battery or charger supplied. According to their Customer 'Service' they do not have to stand behind their advertisements, their catalogue or what their staff say!!!

I contacted Tool Nut 2 weeks ago about prices on Makita 18v Accessories that I was interested in. I also asked in that email NOT to put me on a mailing list! What I got back to my inquiry was advertisement about Tool Nut sales. So, against my wishers Tool Nut put me on their mailing list. I ordered $50k in modular platform components online. shortly after placing the order, I called the branch and main office to make sure the order was being processed. I check again 22 days later. The website says the items are available for pickup, so I call to arrange for pickup of my order at the branch. Guess what......the items had not even moved from the manufacturer.
