I was in the market for a smaller drill for use in the house & came upon Makita's 10.8v tools. The CBI drill & impact driver set was ideal and bearing in mind it comes with two batteries and a charger it's going for a great price. The tools are tough and reliable and charge in less than an hour. I'm very happy with them.

Excellent delivery - next day to N Ireland which was very unexpected. I will definitely be buying from them again on this point alone. They wear so helpful my parcel turned up this morning it was broken was no one fault phoned them they said do a email with a pitcher and within 2hours they got back to and someone was getting product the same day. So friendly helpful cannot fault them at all. At the price was best around.

Ordered screws which were apparently in stock, took my money, was told the screws are not in stock and I will get a refund. Many phone calls and a month later still no refund or screw. I have never experienced such incompetence how are they still in business? My Bank is now in the case trying to get my money back? Not happy!

Avoid this company like the plague. They have reviews like this across the internet. I ordered items mid-September. 10 days later I rang to see why I'd had no despatch confirmation only to be told goods were "out of stock". I cancelled my order right then but didn't see a refund so after a couple of weeks I rang and was told "it hadn't been processed properly" but it'd be done straight away. Fast forward another week and still no refund so I called again and was fobbed off with the same excuse and promise. After nearly 2 months I've still had no refund and my bank is on the case with Trading Standards and Merseyside Police also aware.

I am a pretty serious DIY person, but don't have a ton of experience with diamond tools. I needed to bore a 24" hold through a granite boulder. I purchased the EDiamond tools higher-end 1.5" boring bit, 12" extension, adapter and water adapter. Worked like a charm, and can see no discernible wear on the diamond blade. Follow the RPM recommendations on their website and don't put a lot of pressure on. Let the blade do the work. My big HD drills were too slow RPM-wise, so I ended up using a cordless Ridgid drill on high speed. Went through three batteries but it worked great. There is no pilot so you need to either use some form of Guide to get it started without the bit walking. Or do what I did. I started with a regular Home-Depot 1.5" tile hole saw so there was an 1/8" deep circle for the Big EDiamond bit to get started.

My order was canceled less than a week ago, with NO EXPLANATION as to WHY ?? This leaves me in a bit of a gift crisis, having to scramble for gifts for 3/4 of my family, 9 days before Christmas.. Northern tool at crown point... Don't try to explain anything to repairmen or the assistant manager. They will totally disregard any suggestions and do what they want. If you insist they get things wright the assistant manager will ask you to leave and take your business elsewhere.

I ordered a heater element for a inferred outdoor heater. The element arrived broken. I contacted customer service to make a claim. Customer service never followed through with a replacement element or returned calls or emails. Was forced to claim through my credit card company. I do not recommend doing business with The Tool Warehouse.

Ordered 2 18V Craftsman type Nicd batteries from them. They shipped me 2 Nihm batteries, that won't work in my charger. I contacted them, and they said they would work in my charger, even though a note in the box said specifically Not to use that type of charger. I begged them to send the batteries I ordered, but after a month of haggling, they agreed to credit me back including return shipping. I knew this was going to be trouble, but I returned them anyway. BIG mistake. They received them over a month ago, and the customer service people admit this, They now are ignoring my requests for action on this fiasco, and I'm out around $100

First of all my experience with the sales consultant was fabulous. I am a single mother with two children and the hope of me getting a house of my own was unlikely. However, Omar encouraged me not to give up and gave me advice no other company had given me. He also worked within my budget and didn't force me to purchase something that would make it difficult to pay off. He was very professional and kept in contact all throughout the process. My experience with the rest of the team (Zoe and Emily) was also fantastic. They we exceptionally helpful and prompt with attending to my enquiries. The home itself is fantastic!!! Placed an order for 2 garden tools. They notified me that it would take up to 20 days to process my order and another 1-2 weeks for delivery. I chose to cancel my order. After multiple emails and replies, they still have not refunded my money for 12 days. They kept saying that it would be in my account within 24-48 hours. I still have not received it. They are the worst business to order from. It has taken weeks to receive previous orders. And they always come banged up and packaged poorly.
