I was with helbing almost 3 yrs. Paid them 12,222.60. in that time they just paid off one card at1730.00 and was making payments monthly on another. Which why weren't they not just paying it off. I was living on 3 paychecks a month! Couldn't do it anymore! So i cancelled. They only paid out 4,500.33 for debt and Around 2300.00 or so of that was lawyers fees from that 4,500.33. I told them I wanted to break down of all my money! They only gave me the breakdown for $5, 875.52. I canceled and they only gave me back $1,375.19. and refuse to give me a breakdown or show me what they did with $6, 347.08. I still have most of the debt after almost 3 years. It was all supposed to be paid off by October. But then they said they had to go another year of payments. I told them no I'm a single mom paying for everything! They took advantage of me They ripped me off royally! And they need to be sued by a lot of people!! I am definitely needing to do that myself. Cuz they have no right to take advantage of people like that! And I want the rest of my money back. They literally said they were bank fees and stuff like that and that's all I heard about it.

I signed up with helbing law group 7/2018 and have paid them over $27,000 for them to settle $34,000 debts and four years later they are still asking for more money. I also received three 1099C's totalling over $8000.00 that I had to pay income taxes on. I can only say if you find you are to far in debt try to work with your creditors you will save alot of money and head aches

Philip Landau represented me when he was with Landau, Zeffertt, and Weir (Oct-Dec 2013). I am a US citizen and I was working in England on a Tier 2 visa sponsored by my UK employer. I had submitted a formal grievance for what I contended was harassment, bullying, defamatory performance ratings, and discrimination along with citing contractual breaches in Duty of Care (Health and Safety Act + Equality Act). I believe that my grievance was whistleblowing. Landau immediately recommended negotiating an "enhanced" settlement agreement and not follow my legally guaranteed right to follow the grievance procedures under law and contract. A year after I left the UK I submitted a subject access request citing the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA). I received the contents of my personnel file which had inaccurate defamatory documents supporting a performance based settlement agreement. Can a sponsored Tier 2 visa holder simultaneously be sponsored and placed on a performance improvement plan (PIP)? Philip Landau has been asked many times to explain if legal and compliant processes and documents were used to process my termination from employment. He has remained silent. I have reported to ActionFraud, but there has been no investigation. This is a true story. In terms of the 12-month limit for review, in September 2018 my former employer bypassed the Confidentiality terms of the referenced settlement contract which provided whistleblower protection and filed criminal defamation claims for my blogging in Thailand, where I now live. (My Thai wife was also sponsored as a Tier 2 dependent and I believe was also owed a duty of care, along with my dependent children.) My employer dropped the criminal claim(s) when I signed a new settlement contract without whistleblower protection. I now believe that the new settlement terms violate the Public Interest Disclosure Act (PIDA), Clause 43J. I do not believe the claim in Thailand was legal, but that my employer did not want to rely on the Landau settlement contract. But, I had to deal with this in Thailand, anyhow. This is the drama and saga that doing business with Philip Landau added to my life!

I guess "lucky" is one of the words I'd describe my working career so far, lucky in so much as I've not needed to instruct a solicitor for any reason and I've been employed now for about thirteen years since graduation (wow, I'm getting old!). Back in mid December last year I found myself in a situation with my employer whereby I very much felt the need to seek impartial, professional legal advice. When I originally contacted Landau Law it was smack bang in the middle of the Christmas period and even though their company was on shutdown for their Christmas break, Philip Landau (the founding member himself!) got back to me to inform me they'd be in a position to help me out, incidentally the only one out of five companies I contacted during that period to actually bother even replying to me. I was initially quite panicked by my work situation, having not been in any position quite like it before I was very concerned my job and therefore my career were at risk. After a relatively short period of time I'd sent off all of the documentation they needed and they quickly assured me that not only was my job secure, should I feel the need to, there were options that could result in a fairly healthy payout should I wish to pursue them. I ended up dealing with three different members of staff at Landau Law, all three of which were professional but also a delight in dealing with. I have done some GCSE and A-Level maths and physics tutoring to family members as favours previously and I have found it a nightmare trying to convey concepts to them. Not only was everybody I dealt with at Landau fantastic at explaining the law behind my situation, they did so in a very non-condescending and friendly manner, ensuring I understood every aspect of the associated law or laws that were relevant for the aspect of the situation being dealt with. As I started this review, I’ll finish it off by repeating that I have been lucky enough to not need to instruct an employment law solicitor up until very recently, but should I need to again, or should anyone be looking for one, I would recommend Landau Law without any hesitation whatsoever. Thank you for your help, especially Sanya who was genuinely superb throughout my entire dealings I had with Landau. Many thanks Philip, Emma and Sanya!

I was very disappointed to learn of the performance by Mary Monson Solicitor’s at my brother’s second trial in 2016. His first being in 2014. Unfortunately even though we didn’t know it at the time, it is illegal for the same judge to chair two trials with the same defendant with similar charges, especially charges that bring custodial sentence’s, but instead of acting professionally and raising objections to stopping the trial, Mary Monson Solicitors (whom were easily influenced by both the Jimmy Saville scandal and the ongoing war with the British government over legal aid payments), just stood back and let the judge continue intimidating and bully their client. My brother was given 6 years. They also advised him not to appeal, which later transpired, was so that he wouldn’t discover the illegality of the 2016 trial. Unfortunately it is too late to do anything about it because in 2018 my brother died in prison. When I wrote to Mary Monson Solicitors (several times) requesting that they not only explain their actions but to justify them, they’re only response has been through my review with Trustpilot in which they object that my brother ‘didn’t complain of bad service’. Rhetorical Question: How does a solicitor explain inaction when the judge has gone ‘vigilante’?

I had previously applied for flight delay compensation but was rejected. After a 3 year delay I saw that Bott and Co were very successful in this field and knowing that I would have to pay a percentage of my claim I felt that this was the route to go down. All of the application process and paperwork were so easy to follow and in no way time consuming. A lot less stressful than my previous experience and I would recommend anyone who is in doubt about claiming to think again and let the experts take the all the hassle away.

I would like to say that I accident Lawyer has been the best firm I’ve ever retained in my 54 years of life! Let me start off with the basics, I was involved in a car accident that I thought was pretty open/closed. The guy who hit me admitted he was at fault and we exchanged information. A couple days later I began feeling soreness in my back and neck and being 54 years old that’s not very pleasant considering I work as a foreman. Around the same couple days later, I get a letter in the mail saying that the guy who hit me said I confessed and now they were trying to pin the fault on ME! We had a witness who saw the whole thing! I am so glad I got their information as well. I knew I needed to act quickly so I googled car accident lawyers in my area (Los Angeles) and saw this firm pop up. Once I saw they have well over 300 reviews (mostly good with a few bad ones which shows they’re legitimate) I decided to take my chances and call. It was fantastic is all I can say. They had a private investigator come to meet me and sign me up so I didn’t even have to leave the comfort of my home. The first couple of weeks were quiet but I later found out that there is a process of sending and receiving letters between the firm and the insurance companies so that everything is documented by USPS mail in the unfortunate event that one would need evidence for a civil suit. Well that process took a couple of weeks and things got quiet as that scenario played out. I was updated once something new developed but generally I let them handle the situation. I went to treatment for my injuries and once everything was complete I was told that the insurance company offered to settle my case due to witness affidavit that was obtained. I was very happy with my compensation from the settlement check as some money went to pay back the medical providers and then the attorneys got their cut. In all honesty I was very very pleased with what I received. I was not looking for a humongous sum but was very comfortable with my modest amount. I would recommend this firm to my entire family (including in-laws though they don’t deserve such kindness haha) and to friends who are in need. Thanks again for all the work and should the need for your services arise again I have comfort in knowing exactly whom to call.

We used Boligadvokat24 to help purchase our 1st house in Denmark. As a U.S. Citizen and not being able to read/speak Danish, buying a home here can be quite intimidating. Boligadvokat24 basically "handheld" me through the entire process....literally every step along the way. They were highly thorough and extremely flexible in walking me through (even translating) the many legal documents. They provided us a full suite of services (sales contract, negotiate terms and conditions, deed filing, Danish Ministry of Justice filing (for non-Danes buying property)), all in at very reasonable price. I cannot say enough on how EASY Boligadvokat24 was to work with and how 'stress free' they made the entire process! Take note, you will not have a live face-to-face meeting with your lawyer. Everything is done on the phone and email. If this is important to you, you can ask if they will meet live. Honestly, I don't think this was needed. Instead, you will be assigned a case manager (not necessarily a lawyer) who will be your single point of contact. My contact was Elena Vinther. Elena is a ROCKSTAR!!! She was extremely helpful and responded to all my questions within a day (usually, same day). When she needed to bring in a lawyer, she did. I had a claim for Dental Negligence that went on for over 3 years I would say that Dental Law were more than helpful, they kept me updated with everything very professional and even though the case did take a long time due to my ex dentist being very difficult they won the case in a very beneficial way, I would say stick with it and don't give up, even when you think its not worth the hassle, my lawyers that worked on my case were very sympathetic and understanding the whole time.

I subscribed a few years ago after watching the Swiss French TV program ABE which rated Dextra as the best Legal Protection Service. I did well. For the second time Dextra proved impressively efficient to assert my claim and obtain reparation in a situation where I felt powerless. Claim 500 staff are really helpful and stay in contact regularly...However Kingston Law the people who dealt with my claim, there staff are a bit crude for example they will call you and go strait to " Im calling from Kingston law did you get so and so paperwork can you sign it and send it back" very little manners cant say hello at the start of the call cant say thank you at the end only once did they use my name when talking to me and they must have called me more than a dozen times over the months it took to process the claim....and if you asked them a question they would sigh over the phone as to indicate I called you to give instructions on what to do not for you to ask questions I found them to be dismissive and patronising when on the phone and typically not even a goodbye at the end of a call they would just cut off having said what they wanted to say.

In 2010, while assigned overseas (Lima, Peru), I was the victim of anti-Veteran discrimination by my employer: the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Before signing with HomeLegal I informed them that I would need to complete within 3 months, and was told this shouldn't be a problem. They then passed me over to PCS Legal, and after 7 months I still hadn't completed and had to pull out of what was a very simple purchase, with no chain, since my MO expired. Throughout this 7 months I attempted to get a response from PCS Legal, via both phone and email, dozens of times and received no replies. I repeatedly informed them that my mortgage offer was expiring and I would need to complete, but again no responses. I attempted to make contact with them through Homelegal numerous times, and after PCS telling them they would call me, never did. I am now £8,700 out of pocket and after making a complaint to HomeLegal, I received a weak and disrespectful response where they essentially copy & pasted their T&Cs and said its not their problem as they transferred me to PCS. Despite signing the contract with them and paying a deposit. They also pointed to PCS's good TrustPilot score to show that they were trustworthy. However, TrustPilot have put a flag on the account to say they had been posting fake reviews. This again shows PCS Legals lack of integrity. As well as HomeLegals, for continuing to use them. If you want a company to take your money and then wash their hands of you when you experience issues with their service, then HomeLegal is the place to go

ACQUISITION BY DECEPTION - MISLEADING & DECEPTIVE COMPANY It appears home legal direct are somehow getting people to leave a positive reviews for a reward!!! Once you experience the lies and tactic this company adopts to rob you of your hard earn money, you will realise they do not even deserve a 1 star!! I found them on a price comparison site disguised amongst other Conveyancing solicitors, I instructed them in Dec 2021 because they have great reviews on “trust-pilot” and I was given a “fixed Conveyancing quote” of £646 excluding searches or disbursements. I also spoke with their representative who confirmed that this is the only fee I will pay excluding third party fees etc. I can confirm that these are all lies and it is what I will call a “Legal Scam”. Home Legal Direct do not even carry out any of the work on the alleged “fixed quote” they reel you in with, they are simply a Marketing Company that take a Commission disguised as a “File Opening fee”, once you pay them this fee (I was charged £180), you are then thrown to the wolves to take as much bite as they please. The term “Wolves” are Conveyancing solicitors that also pay Home Legal Direct a commission to acquire customers like you and me to be taken advantage of. In my case, my file was passed onto DM Davies & McGrath Law without my consent. This is a solicitor I will never have instructed otherwise as they have appalling reviews on Trustpilot but my freedom to choose a solicitor that will handle my case was taken away by Home Legal Direct. Within a week of instructing Home Legal Direct, I was now at the mercy of DM Davies & McGrath Law who took 7 months to complete my purchase and charged me approximately £1700 in conveyancing fees alone. (A huge difference to the Fixed fee of £646 that Home Legal Direct quoted me). DM Davies & McGrath Law is another extremely “crafty solicitor”, they kept the fees hidden until a day before completion. This is a tactic they adopt to put clients under pressure to find a way to pay their extortionate fees or they will not complete the purchase. They even cheekily charged me an “Expedited Completion fee”(if the timescale between exchange & completion is less than 5 working days) of £48 even though they purposely chose to complete on this day (a day before the lenders deadline). Despite my instruction to Home Legal Direct in Dec 2021 that the purchase will be through my Limited company, DM Davies & McGrath Law were not made aware of this until May 2022 (6 months into the purchase) which meant all the paperwork I have previously signed had to be re-signed again. A purchase which was meant to take no more than 3-5 months was purposely dragged to 14th June 2022 a day before lender deadline. I will be referring my case to the SRA as I feel cheated and this tactic of Acquisition by Deception is very unfair to those that have worked hard to save a deposit to purchase their home only to be deceived into parting with more than they had planned to.

Mr. McMillan selflessly took time while having a busy day himself to help my attorney friend who was in a big bind with getting a expert witness last minute. Made a huge difference for the client"s case. He didn't know either of them nor benefitted in any way, but simply helped out the best he could. If attorney had missed deadline kn submission of expert it would have been rather problematic. Besides this incident that I directly witnessed I have seen him have an open ear and interest in obtaining justice for vulnerable people and stir them in right direction. My boss signed up with them in 2016. Fast forward a year later in which we had not gotten 1 referral from our listing with ProbateCounselors.net. My boss said to cancel it. I was told it was too late to cancel that we had to pay for another year because it auto renews. I said well that is frustrating, but a contact is a contact. The annual amount, $5,000 for which we garnered nothing. I explained that we will make sure to cancel it on time next year and paid another $5,000. A good business would be working hard to keep you as a customer. We received no email, phone call, or even a letter trying to keep us a customer. Fast forward to the end of the contract and now we have spent $10k and received NOTHING for it. I sent an email to cancel the subscription, per their instructions and asked someone to respond to confirm the cancellation. A week goes by and no response. I send another email and finally received a response. Horrible customer service. Shady, at best, practices. DO NOT sign up with this company.

My experience did not start of great, the woman handling my case at first took ages took time off and what not and did not pass my case on, it took about 8/9 months for my medical!! Absolutely ridiculous! Absolutely no contact with me at all, I was never aware of what was happening! I understand that everyone has their own lifes and issues but your job is your job so it right or pass it to someone that will do it right! So thankfully that woman left ( hope she found a job better suited) and then Debbie Martin took my case, Debbie was amazing, made me aware of where my case is at, what I need to do, always a phone call away if I didn't understand something, she also emailed and texted me keeping me updated on paperwork and other things! I wish Debbie handled my case from the very start! She's great, very professional, understanding and helpful! Thankyou so much!

The sale of the house took nearly 12 weeks to complete which seemed a long time considering there wasnt a chain involved in either party. However Graysons responded to my queries during the process in a timely way.
