Truly awful customer service. I ordered an item that was delivered to me the incorrect size. I returned the item at my own expense and was told I couldn't have a refund because the box I sent the item in was 'damaged'. I asked what the damage was to the cardboard box and they told me I'd damaged it by writing the address on the cardboard box! I tried to reason with Levi at customer service who was absolutely unhelpful and refused to refund my money. This is a professional organisation selling audio equipment that can't take a returned item and put it in a new box to resell? Pathetic. Have shopped with these guys for years and then to be. treated like this because the was something wrong with the cardboard box I returned the item in.. it's daylight robbery. Not a small sum of money too. Avoid.. use Gear4music or Thomann instead any day.

I purchased the Williams Legato 88-Key Digital Piano from Music123 through Walmart. I recommend buying it directly from Music123 and not Walmart, because if you need to exchange it for any reason, Music123 will make you pay for the replacement (because it was purchased through a third party) and then they'll refund you the amount when they receive the defective one. The first keyboard I received had 3 keys that were making a bad buzzing sound so I returned it, purchased the replacement, and waited for my refund, but they only reimbursed me $150 when it should have been the full $200. It took me four phone calls to finally receive the right amount which they had to send through the mail as a check because Walmart (third party) was involved. What a pain! Music123 customer service wouldn't give me all the information until I asked the right questions - they were vague and everyone I talked to told me something different. I haven't even opened the second keyboard yet because I'm terrified something will be wrong with it too and I'll have to start this whole process over again. As for the quality of the keyboard: It's pretty quiet and the headphones aren't any louder. If you plan on singing and playing, forget it, you won't hear the piano. I tried plugging in an amp but had no luck getting the sound to come through, not sure why yet. It is beautiful and if you don't mind it being quiet, it sounds nice, but I can't recommend it or buying from Music123.

Ordered a Martin 0017s whiskey sunset on 2/27/2019 at 8:43 am it was listed as b stock. I recieved item on 2/28/2019 at 2pm..i was totatly suprised at how fast i got it!!.. i cannot find a flaw or scratch etc etc on it anywhere..i am totally pleased with my purchase and im looking forward to future puchases

False Advertising. Purchased 3 guitars that were backordered. Apparently reserving an item just puts you on waiting list, and the eta got moved back another month. Customer Service just read scripts and patronized me. Told them to change their shady ways, but it unlikely. They even treat their employees horribly, how can they give true customer support? Take your money and time elsewhere.

Have used MF for years, they used to be the top dog for music purchases. Recently their shipping times are worse than competitors, their return policy for instruments is absurd, you lose the cost of shipping from your refund and you have to pay to ship it back. So basically you cannot test an item, where as with other competitors it is a FULL refund. Trying to return items is also horrible, I have waiting over 20 mins on the phone just to talk to someone and you're lucky if the chat ever responds. Ive sometimes waited over 35 mins for an answer. Just buy it from ZZounds or amazon.

i purchased a marshall origin 50 combo ($688.99 w tax), it died a few weeks later. i purchased it in a store, due to covid the store was closed so i could not return it. i contacted them, they sent a return label, i ship the amp to them. i have an email confirming they have the amp and i am due a full refund. but, they just wont give the refund. when i call i get a new excuse every time. to be clear, they always say should get my refund or they don't know why i don't have it, but alas 4 months later still no refund. now i have had to go to my bank for action of this matter. the worst customer service ever. no wounder they are going out of business. do not buy from sam ash!

I placed an order for an "in stock" item on 8/15. The order status went to "Shipping" and eight days later after hearing nothing, I had to call them and wait on hold for half an hour. When I finally talked to someone they said the item had to be ordered from an alternate location and would ship in a couple MORE days. Finally, on 8/30 I received the item.

I was purchasing a pair of Yamaha CM500 headphones, and when I found that Woodwind and Brasswind offered the best price, I went for it, though I read quite a few negative customer reviews about the company. While placing the order, I was told that my item may take 3-5 weeks for delivery. I was mentally prepared to wait for 5 weeks and then to make some angry phone calls, going by the reviews I read about the company and its customer service. Nothing of that sort actually happened. Within less than 2 weeks of placing my order, I got an email telling that my item was shipped and it arrived 17 days from the day I placed the order. It was a brand new item and there was nothing to complain. I was very happy with the purchase, and in the future, I will confidently do business with WWBW.

I purchased 50 six-cd cases and had to add some filler to get to the minimum $25 order. The filler consisted of 1 Ridata DVD-R, 4 Ridata DVD+R and a free CDR. When the shipment arrived 2 cases were cracked and they wouldn't credit me the money, instead they said I had to order with them and they would take $1 off. I was unhappy with that but it was only 2 out of 50 cases. Then I started using the media. Every single disk including the CDR were defective. I initially found this out by losing some family video trusting the DVD would work. After that I set Nero to verify the data after burn. Every single disk failed. In most cases when I inspected the disk there were visible flaws. I am very disappointed with the the quality control and the customer service.

Placed an order online on Nov. 30th and paid extra for 3-day shipping. Received confirmation and a note that I will receive tracking information very shortly when the order is shipped. 4 days go by and not a word from Performance Audio. So I decided to call to see what's the order status. The customer service rep said the drop shipper is not responding, and the rep promised to update me the next day on the status of the order. It's been 2 more days of waiting and hearing nothing from Performance Audio. During this period I sent an email requesting an order status update and as you may have guessed, no response whatsoever. Do yourself a favor. Save yourself from the headaches and time wasted shopping at Performance Audio.

I bought three CD+Graphics from this company. Unfortunately, I didn't play them right away because I wanted to wait for my son to visit as this was my first karaoke system. One 3 CD set does not work at all. The second CD set has one CD that does and represents the songs it says, one that doesn't and one that is the exact duplicate of the one that works. I called customer service and was given no recourse as it was past 30 days. Ace was, after all, just the distributor I was told. I asked the guy who answered the phone if there was a company I could speak with me because obviously there is a problem in Quality Control. He said look at the back of the box which listed chartbusterkaraoke.com which brought me back to Ace Karaoke's phone number. I called back Ace only to get the same guy (cocky, once again, I might add) who once again said he couldn't help me. Personally, I don't know how they get could good reviews or still be in business. I guess I must be one of the unlucky few to have this problem which I find doubtful. Doesn't anybody care about making or DISTRIBUTING a good product these days????

I just had my seven year old KOD-800 hard drive karaoke machine repaired and could not be happier with everything about the service and work of this company. I was prepared to buy a new model, but dreaded the reprogramming of the songs on my old machine that I had spent hundreds of hours downloading. Hearing this, the service guy told me to send mine in and they would be happy to see what they could do to repair it. Most companies would quickly ring up the new machine, but these guys not only took a look, they fixed it and returned it across the country in very reasonable time. It's working like new and I am completely amazed that they could get it back in shape. When it eventually dies on me, there is no other karaoke supplier I would consider calling for the replacement. On a scale of 1-5 stars, you've earned a ten from me!

After I ordered and paid for a digital piano, I didn't hear anything for 2 weeks. I had to ring up and ask about my order 5times. Every time when I rang up, I had to explain each different staff who answered my call. They said the person who started my order would call me back, but didn't receive a call back. Finally I received the digital piano I ordered which was left in our garage without any note and also the keyboard box was standing on top of the bench box. I paid nearly $1330,not $50 products. I was very surprised the service I have received, very disappointed and never used this company again and also never recommend to anyone.

I was looking to order a Rode VideoMic and Rode PG1 Pistol Grip so I began shopping. I had seen the VideoMic at MusiciansFriend.com for $149 and at Amazon.com for $135. I then did a Google Search for the product and FrontEndAudio.com came up listing the VideoMic at $119. I'm always a bit wary when I see prices that low, but I decided to go ahead and add it to my cart. When I did, I realized they threw in the PG1 pistol grip as well, for free! I was getting both the VideoMic and the PG1 for $119! The same package costs $168 on Amazon.com. So I placed my order on a Sunday with free 7-day shipping, so I expected to see it a week later on Monday. I got a bit worried because for the next few days I checked the status of my shipment and it said they hadn't shipped it yet. But on Wednesday I got an email saying they sent it out. To my surprise, when I got home from work on Thursday (the next day), my Fedex Ground box was waiting for me! The free shipping only took 4 days! I opened the box, and there was my new VideoMic in its original packaging, and my PG1 in its original packaging. No scratches, no dents, just mint condition. I had a great experience with FrontEndAudio.com. I am definitely looking there first when I need any other audio products. You just can't beat the prices, and they ship reliably. I didn't have to deal with their customer support, so I don't know how that is.

I made a $250-ish purchase on the website; the item didn't work as advertised. When I tried to return it I was met with the "it's against our return policy" routine. It would've been nice to know that BEFORE I made the purchase. From the product screen through the check-out process, they never tell you whether your purchase is returnable or not. It's up to you to scout out the fine print on the website, which is actually quite vague once you find it. I'll never do business with them again. If I could give negative stars for service and returns it would be -10 on both.

Whenever I need DJ/PA gear, this is the place I head to. Huge warehouse with a great selection of amps, speakers, mics, lights, needles, cases, etc. Strictly gear, no music. Great staff--super helpful and knowledgeable. Be firm and bargain with the sales reps and you can walk away with some killer deals. Also, they price match any authorized retailer (including online stores). FYI, Six Star is also the Marathon (ATA case maker) warehouse, so you can get their entire product line at a discounted price. I have purchased in store and online. My last purchase was online and shipping was SUPER FAST! I'm impressed--they have a loyal customer in me.

Ordered two replacement bulbs for strobe lights on Oct 19th. I called the seller on the 22nd when I noticed the item had not shipped and the charges kept coming on my bank account, then erased the next day. I was told that there was no one there that could help me with my order! After this I immediately contacted paypal and disputed the order and had it voided. A week later I was informed that the bulbs were out of stock and that my order was canceled. It would have saved me a lot of trouble if they would have let me know in the beginning or list on their website that the item was out of stock. Too bad for Six Star DJ losing out on a client... My business goes through various replacement bulbs every week, fog, and just ordered a dmx controller with 10 new scanner lights.

Even though I do have a longstanding issue regarding a returned item that in my opinion was handled incorrectly, I fully trust LP gear and I have truly enjoyed their knowledge regarding cartridges and stylus' and tips on upgrading carts with a better stylus. I am not afraid of spending my money at LPG as my record will confirm. I have not had a decent opportunity to listen to my FUNK FIRM platter mat but I am sure that it will live up to it's reputation. Thanks to all at LPG for continued good service and products.

I just received installed and aligned my 95SE upgrade stylus (running on a Technics SL-1300.) I've always liked the 95, I think it has a nice vibrant, upfront quality, and this inexpensive upgrade utterly changes the sound of a great (inexpensive) cart. At 1.8 grams it tracks great and brings a lot of extra detail, clarity, as well as super enhanced soundstage to every record I can throw at it, even older, slightly rougher vinyl (which is odd, considering the needle is finer? Though: I am not a doctor of sound, so grain of salt...) I can't recommend it enough, LPGear and AT rule, I'm going to be ordering the other 95 series styli for sure, and the student discount is very welcome. Also, I never write reviews, ever, but felt compelled to drop a line about this awesome improvement to my musical situation. Get it!

(No explanation) It arrived within a couple of days. (I recently ordered a trumpet from Thormann in Germany. Trumpet arrived within three days. Emails advising me every step of the process along with a face and a name to contact at any time.)

This is my first time buying at this store. I bought a 7x8 DW tom and clamp from cymbalfusion.com last Dec 19. Thinking that it was available, I expected it to come before new year. Unfortunately, DW was backed up and so my shipping was delayed a couple of days. I was so disappointed but Erik kept his promise and got the other gear I ordered on time. He stayed on top of it and offered the best help anyone could get. I highly recommend getting all your drum gear here. Quality drums at unbeatable prices, not even the "big" stores can match. Still disappointed with DW but cymbalfusion.com took care of me like I'm a regular customer. It's amazing what great customer service can do. Want drum gear? Get them here!

After he moved into the 7th grade, and planed to continue Trumpet as the instrument, so we decided to purchase a trumpet instead of rental. I purchased a LJ Hutchen flute for my daughter in Dec 2013. On May 15, 2014, my daughter came from school and advised something appeared to be wrong with the flute. The sound was not good when certain keys were played. We needed immediate solution as she was performing that weekend for two events. I called Hyson Music and was greeted by very friendly staff who advised the President was on the other line but he would call me back asap. I received a call back within 15-20mins from Jesse. He was more than willing to have the flute serviced. The problem we were faced with was the short time frame to get the flute serviced and ready for that weekend. Jesse offered to have the flute serviced by a nearby music store/repair shop but this was not the normal practice for instrument repairs/service needed. Jesse was willing to make whatever needed to be done happen. He just wanted my daughter to have her flute and have two great performances, especially after finding out she was a Senior in HS and this would be her last performances. Jesse made a few phone calls to places in my area to see who could make this happen for me, but was unsuccessful. We had one other solution I could try. Jesse told me he would call me in the morning to find out if I was able to find a trust worthy place to take the flute for service. I did find a music store/repair shop that I was able to take the flute that same day. They were to have the flute checked the next morning and I would receive a call. To end this long story... the flute was repaired and she had it in time for her two performances that weekend. The flute sounded beautiful. Jesse also called me and was pleased to know there was a solution to the problem and he agreed to absorb the cost. He demonstrated great customer service and willing to go above and beyond to assist. I would recommend considering Hyson Music to anyone looking for a reliable, friendly and accommodating business.

As a player of guitar and many guitar-related instruments (banjo; mandolin; bass; charango; etc.) it has behooved me to learn to maintain, repair, and otherwise service my instruments. StewMac has been my go-to for string instrument tools and parts for a number of years. They have the right tools, and are continually innovating to develop new tools various luthier tasks which come up. Additionally, they have a phenomenal collection of free tips; how-to videos; and suggestions for instrument fixes. Their service is impeccable, and on the few occasions I've needed to return something, or something got lost in the mail, they've made good immediately. Their tech support people are also great at answering questions by email, and suggesting the appropriate parts, tools, and procedures to make everything work. I do have to say that their prices can be a bit high. Mostly I write this off as the cost of the overhead they maintain to keep a great selection, and to provide free tips. But occasionally some of the same tools can be found elsewhere for a lower price. On the other hand, thanks to their innovation, some tools can only be had from StewMac. At any rate, whether you're a professional luthier, or just want to try your hand at making a new bridge saddle for your favorite guitar, this is the place to check out first.

I tried to place a simple text 1-star review on a product they sell. Only commas and periods and no links. When I clicked submit I was redirected to a page-not-found broken link. Thinking this was maybe a server issue I waited then tried again. Same experience. After 4 attempts I contacted StewMac. The customer support replied that their tech department was working on the issue. Suspicious this excuse was not true I did a test by posting a similar post only this time giving 5 stars and the post was published live immediately. I then tried for a 5th and 6th time to post my 1 star review and again was redirected to a page-not-found broken link I complained a 2nd time to StewMac. This time they did not address my complaint at all. Instead I received a lengthy and irrelevant explanation of how their review process works and saying there is no guarantee my 1 star review will get posted By blocking 1 star reviews for the products they sell StewMac is misleading customers into believing the products they sell are higher quality and have better reliable than they really do thereby boosting sales

With most companies, owner manuals being dificult to understand, ofen due to translations to English, technical jargon or simply confusing from the outset, tyros tipsters sid you to get started straight away with their easy to follow videos. Keep them coming boys!!! All staff at epianos are really helpfull & delivery of my tyros was received next day! I have now purchased two guitars from Alto, sight unseen, through their website and both transactions have been perfect. My 812ce DLX Taylor was used at the NAMM expo and they made sure to let me know of even the slightest imperfection to make sure I was absolutely confident in my purchases. The staff is always extremely friendly and eager to answer any questions as well as each guitar was shipped/packaged quite well. It can be pretty daunting to purchase high end items off the internet and before playing them but they make seamless. Fantastic selection, great staff, what more could you want. I will be back ;)

I ordered a grand piano cover from Vanda King for about $200. First they sent a vinyl cover instead of Mackintosh. I returned it. Second was in wrong color and wrong dimensions. Returned that one as well. Third one was relatively better in size but the slits were 4 inches off so I couldn't fold the lid. After two months of train of failures I didn't want to deal with them anymore and I paid a local tailor who knows what he's doing $100 and got it fixed. In the last package they accidentally sent me a print out of the correspondence the sales dept. had with the factory about my complaints/requests; I think it was very unprofessional and rude.

Smart DJ listed a product with an incorrect title and picture, deceptively making it out to be the new model of the product. I bought 6 items totaling about $2400, found out they are not what my receipt or their listing says, and now the want me to pay for shipping and a 20% restocking fee! Worst company ever, DO NOT GIVE THEM BUSINESS! You can find whatever you need cheaper elsewhere and you wont get scammed by these bullshiters.

I really enjoyed dealing with Ray. I had to wait a very long time on the phone until a business person (Ray) picked up the phone. I'm talking more than 15- 20 minutes. The purchase was great, great price. The equiptment arrived in a week but my box was damaged and had a hole in it. After opening up the box I realized I was missing many peices and my dj stand was impossible to assemble. I called up SmartDJ and I was told I had to call up the company the item came from - Odyssey , and take care of the situation myself. This got me really mad, I was already upset my item arrived incomplete. Now I am dealing with Odyssey and my fingers are crossed that they send me out all 4 pieces I need in a short amount of time. SmartDj told me that if Odyssey couldn't help me, I would have to return this item and I would have to pay for the return mailing MYSELF!!!!! I don't think I will ever deal with SmartDj again. Thanks but no thanks.

Excellent service from staff in the Newcastle shop , helped me with their advice to find that little thing that was missing of my rig. Was after a fuller sound with dirt while been slightly overdriven that would not die and that would cut through the mix with my modified Les Paul. Although what they suggested was an expensive option I was fully satisfied with the performance of the famous Friedman Small Box pedal and have left the shop with it as a very happy customer.

Richard was incredibly rude and difficult to deal with on all after sales correspondence. The process of buying a custom guitar took 7 months rather than 4 months quoted. Additionally The wrong value was written on the sales receipt which meant an additional 100 pounds had to be paid in tax. When I emailed to ask for an updated receipt I received no reply.

I collected my new Furch G24 2016 LTD yesterday from Richard. The setup on the guitar is fabulous, nice and low so very easy to play and not a buzz to be found. The tone produced is amazing, especially for a new guitar. Comparing it to my Takamine ENV-460, it’s smoother, deeper and even more defined so to say I am delighted is an understatement! Service from Richard was beyond reproach. Always available to give me advice and help me chose the right purchase, when I went into the shop to select the guitar he got the balance of advising and supporting rather than pushing just right. Summary, I am a delighted returning customer who can’t speak highly enough about Richard’s Guitars.

You can get strings, picks, etc. at dozens of places both locally and online, so why Strings and Beyond? My answer is that, beyond their great selection and good prices, it's like going back in time 50 years and dealing with the friendliest, most helpful neighborhood store you can remember -- or imagine, if you weren't around back then. Every order I've placed with Strings and Beyond has come with a handwritten thank-you on the receipt. I had a 20-minute online exchange with a very knowledgeable support person when I was looking for the perfect thumbpick for my playing style. It's not World Peace, but I would be a very happy man if every company I dealt with was like Strings and Beyond. They are a rare find.

Maybe this is only relevant to Canada. Ordered strings about 9 days ago and still have not received them. Maybe thats just how long it takes so I guess online string ordering isn't for me. A local music store has said they can get the strings I need in hand in just a couple days.

Order with them via Amazon, they use Yodel, parcel never delivered but claimed singed for looks like they never even tried or just kept it, no help after week from other company. Avoid if it goes wrong you will be left out of pocket.

I was shown four guitars of the type I was interested in, varying in price. I was allowed to play with the guitars, acoustically and plugged in, for over two hours. I was never put under any pressure to buy by the knowledgeable salesman, and in fact didn't buy until I returned three days later. I am really happy with my new guitar and haven't played my old one now for over three weeks. I couldn't fault the service I received.

I first heard of Pacific Radio over 20 years ago, when they were located in Hollywood, and have shopped them several times over the years. Pacific Radio has a very comprehensive inventory of electronic components. If you're having a hard time finding that cable, connector, or electronic part, chances are that Pacific Radio will have it. I was able to order my coupler online, pay, and then pick it up at the store. All I had to do was walk in with my receipt, and they had it ready to go, bagged and all. I was pleased that I was able to avoid shipping from other online dealers, and actually paid less overall. Great customer service as well.

The Parlor is suitable for short or smaller olayers but Im a large guy and average to large hands fits well on the strings. Coming from a ukulele this is perfect for me. Strings indeed are smooth and easier to fret. The workmanship is quality and not from overseas with solid components like a Fishman pickup. It came with the ABS case knowing the guitar is protected in shipping. Set up is spot on and the company says wait 6 months for everything to settle before making adjustments which is a good idea.Great customer service

I am 77 years old and have played, mostly just for my own pleasure since I was 15. Age, arthritis and fingers seemingly fatter have made playing much less rewarding recently, not helped by 'economically' priced instruments! I stumbled across Danny Zager's website and after initial scepticism, realised that maybe here was the solution. I read some of the reviews many of which mention playing with arthritic difficulties, read about his design philosophy and realised I had to give it a try, my wife agreed, eventually! Nine days later FedEx delivered to my home in the UK a splendid, beautifully made, Zager Parlor E. That was three days ago, I've played for an hour every evening since, it is very different to anything I have owned before, I'm an engineer and the instrument feels very 'stiff' I guess this is gives it the tone and volume. I love it, easy to play and no more buzzes playing B7th! With the returns deal Zager offer they are well worth considering, my Parlor E certainly does what it says on the box.

I really love the instructors Steve Eulberg and Jim Deeming for learning beginner, and some of the artists are good for furthering your skills. I think it is good that you can talk to a live teacher if you are having trouble. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to play the guitar. Very affordable.

Having found a great deal online, I ordered my item... The item hadn't arrived after a few days and the 'schedule your delivery' button did not work on the automated tracking email. After getting stuck in a phone loop multiple times and after much Googling I found a number for the correct depot. If you've ever tried contacting Northampton Geodis you'll understand how tricky this is. They were very pleasant and helpful and advised when the parcel would arrive. So I waited 2 days at home for it (after the second day being told there had been an accident). Being that I work, and couldn't waste another day, Geodis recommended I pick a designated day that week, which I did... HOWEVER... Update (1 day later - 3 working days late): Have just had a David Lynch moment and received a notification saying that my parcel has been signed for, by 'myself' however I have not been home all day (this was not my 'new' designated delivery day). I will not be happy if this has been left with a neighbour as it clearly states to check the item thoroughly. Very stressful experience thus far. Update (later that evening) Well... Not to worry, it wasn't responsibly left with a neighbour as I just got home to find my £750+ digital piano hanging out, on my doorstep (in South East London) in the drizzle, in full view of any Tom, Brian or Harry, with the name of the product on full display and the box battered like a good piece of Weymouth cod. After unpacking the piano, everything seems to be ok, however it does sound a bit like soggy bagpipes, hopefully this will resolve itself as it dries out. A lesson learned. Buying stuff from Woodbrass.com is ok, however good communication, customer service and peace of mind are not included in the price. The courier company that Woodbrass.com use (GEODIS) are TERRIBLE. If you hope to be able to contact customer services, give up now. If you want your goods dropped on your doorstep for all to see, whatever the weather, go for it. Bonne chance.

To add to the excessively long wait for my purchase and the exceptionally useless customer service I also had to pay over £5.00 in call charges for the privilege of speaking to them about issues of their making as they use a high-cost per minute (0845) service number. On balance, any of their apparent purchase deals are outweighed by long delivery times and the worryingly poor customer service. They are also not in the UK.

Purchased the Donner Wireless Page Turner just over 6 months ago. The devise will no longer turn on. After emailing back and forth over several days, their attitude was very much "oh well". They do not have a warranty page on their web site for good reason, they do not stand behind their products. A 6 month warranty does not instill much confidence.

Tom Hess cannot be compared to any other guitar teacher out there. His knowledge of music and guitar is in a league of his own. I've been taking lessons with him for a little over a couple years and my technique has drastically improved. It's crazy to think about how much better I am now than before when I was learning on my own/with online videos/etc. Tom is very clear in his teaching methods and good at keeping you on the right path to achieving whatever you want to accomplish on guitar. Every lesson I feel inspired and excited to be making progress!

Over three months I am really learning how to play the piano. Its fun, easy to work at your own pace and a positive experience. You can buy a yearly or life subscription. I am 3 months in and feel like I might be all the way in a year so .... but my partner has a subscription too which is a small extra fee. I called from the United States and asked if I could order a ukulele for a friend to be delivered to her place of work on her birthday. Roberto was so kind! He offered to speak English, but I wanted to try in Italian (since I've worked hard to learn Italian) and he was very patient with me. They took care of it.
