Recently, I bought a preowned computer from DV Warehouse, This is not the first time that I have made purchases with them. Several years ago, one of my MACs that I bought elsewhere years before went on the blink. I bought another exact copy of the same computer from DV Warehouse and a few parts. Both computers that date back to 2002 are still functioning perfectly in 2013. My recent purchase from DV had an OS 10.6.8 operating system and for $19.99 I was able to upgrade it to mountain lion! I bought this computer for 2/3 what it would have cost any place else and there is no computer that I would rather have! DV Warehouse has always shipped promptly and stood behind and replaced any products that I have had problems with (which did happen once), and they promptly sent me a replacement without any complaint. I trust DV Warehouse much more than (in my opinion) the money hungry Apple stores.

I'm in Australia and I ordered an Xserve G5 power supply on 16 June 2015. I specified the fastest shipping, and it arrived on 22 June 2015 in good order. It was packaged in a well-padded manner and worked when it was installed. I'm very happy with the product and service. I was also impressed by the DVWarehouse website which provides much more product information, and in particular product compatibility information, than other vendors. This is one of the main reasons I chose DVWarehouse. The only issue was that their order form forced me to ship to the credit card billing address. That was a PO box and the order was then held up because their shipping carrier doesn't deliver to PO boxes. So I had to phone them to sort it out and supply another address. They were very helpful and efficient about this and my order was not significantly delayed because of it. This should sort this problem out though.

This was an excellent experience from start to finish - everyone was very quick to respond. I worked with Hilary Ledebuhr who was excellent. Very helpful in advice re the video we made and very helpful in walking me through some of the initial technical issues with getting the photographs downloaded. The final prduct was terrific!

CyberLink PowerDVD is a program that plays all video formats, including modern HD. It has a simple, clear interface. There is support for 3D format. There are also multitasking features - for example, playing several films. And also I shot a freeze frame there for myself, cutting a film in a photograph. The program has very broad capabilities and it alone will replace absolutely all of these. For me it is the best! Recent versions also support Blu rey formats.The program works on modern computers, on old ones it will slow down. So its only drawback is the requirements for system resources. And so it is a wonderful program, the best! There are only few cons:it does not support custom resolution and may be a bit difficult for beginners or regular users, but you would get used to it quickly, for sure. After AVS4YOU was dumped by me, I started looking for another video editing, DVD production suite. I found cyberlink PowerDirector 13. I am finally able to produce a reliable video that actually plays on a DVD player. The price was right at $55 on Amazon. Cyberlink has a great website with many tutorials, and also have an active forum at forum.cyberlink.com It has a bit of a learning curve, but it works.

I purchased a license of DJ Music Mixer more than a year ago, then I upgraded my pc to Windows 10 and had to reinstall some programs including DJ software. Then the license did not work due to security reason (avoid piracy and using on a different machine). I sent Program4Pc a message and they reset my activation code within 30 minutes, yes it was only half an hour. I really amazed how fast they act. Happy with my software and will recommend it to everyone who need their software.

I purchased iSkysoft Data Recovery for Mac (V 2.4.0) because my computer recently crashed and I lost a lot of files, including some password (will never store on computer again)...So, when I finally got around to running the "Recovery" program the first time all it came up with was what is already on my HD. I wouldn't call that much of a recovery, would you. So i let it go and a couple of days later I ran each of the options in the order suggested .. My computer crashed while the "recovery" was running and I had my basic "brick" again, which took me and a lot of Apple techs to get up and running. And again I lost the files i had been able to put back together..Some recovery! I would like a refund for a number of obvious reasons, but the first person I spoke with online kind of blu me off. Am at peace now with the loss of so much personal info..but as they say "Buyer Beware" I sure will check out anything before I download it again. Regards to all you scammers online, Elise Rexinger

I recently decided that I wanted to get into creating logos for bands/artists which is when I found fontbundles.net. I needed some fonts so I could start making logos, so I bought a bundle and shortly after purchased a singular font as well. As I was looking at the fonts, I saw that they came with a "premium" licence which covers me for "commercial use" which was essential because of the intention of using the fonts in logos for bands/artists. Once purchased, I noticed a rather odd clause in their premium licence not permitted list, which read: "Using products downloaded/purchased from us in TV, film, music video, or any other broadcast production". I was very confused by this as this is what I would consider standard "commercial use". With my intention of making logos for bands/artists, it's quite probable that clients will use them in music videos. I then look into it more and after corresponding with the website it was clear that I would have to purchase a further licence, a "corporate" licence. This didn't make any sense to me as the use of the fonts in a music video clearly isn't corporate use, but standard commercial use. I then find out that a corporate licence is an extra $104 for the font that I wanted to use. After this I contacted the creator of the font that I wanted to use and asked him to clear things up. He replied saying that I would need to purchase an "extended" licence off of him for $49. This started alarm bells as I was quoted $104 previously. It was clear that fontbundles.net were trying to con me out of an extra $55. I contacted fontbundles.net asking for a refund as I was unhappy that they were trying to scam me out of money, they replied saying no. I do not recommend fontbundles.net at all.

Ive looked for several days to find the fastest way to transfer all the 1000 photos from my iPhone to my Mac. They have taken too much phone storage. Ive downloaded and tried several software but none of the make me satisfied. Then luckily I have found MacX MediaTrans. I downloaded the trial version from CNET. The trial software worked super well. It was exactly the app I want so I bought it. I transferred 1200 photos from my iPhone to Mac in no more than 10 minutes. The photos havent been compressed and all keep the fantastic image quality. The operation is easy, you just need to drag and drop. Next, I have used the video and music transfer features to copy hundreds of videos and songs to my Mac. It also works well, fast and steady. It can also move videos and music from Mac to iPhone if you wish to enjoy them on the go. I have freed up 7g iPhone space with this software. It is worth the pennies.

The reason why I ditch away itunes is that I hate its complicated operation and the constant itunes error (itunes always not connecting with my iphone). Yet, when I connect this software with my iphone, there is no response, either. I contact the support team and Ricky gives me feedback within 5 mins - change another USB port and it works. That's not the end. He also patiently gives me more useful suggestions on how to better protect my files after sync. I'm an outsider. These are really helpful. I'm very satisfied with his service. Thanks, Ricky and Digiarty team!

I now own 4 of the Mastin packs and LOVE them! They have been a game changer for me. Post processing time is cut by more then half, my work is more consistent and my clients love their images. Not sure why the bad reviews, if you reach out MastinLabs is extremely helpful & there is a Mastin Labs Community on Facebook that is amazing. Photographers, Mastin users and Kirk Mastin himself are always willing to help, encourage and educate. The presets aren’t a magical bandaid for a poorly shot image. The magic starts in camera with the proper exposure & WB. I shoot sessions knowing which pack I want to use and rarely have to do more then adjust exposure, WB & tint. I’m a Mastin girl for life! ????

When I first began using Kizoa several years ago it was quite functional. Not completely user friendly, but it was possible to learn your way around and create a fairly nice movie/slide show. But recently it's function has declined markedly, stopping my projects midstream after a great deal of effort, with no support from Kizoa. Constantly unable to upload critical photos and collages after putting in a great deal of work. Very, very frustrating. If you are looking for a dependable media production application I can no longer recommend Kizoa. Definitely look elsewhere because this one has become a dead end.

I paid for Kizoa last year & created an amazing video for Fathers Day. I was so impressed I chose to purchase one of the upgrades and it was supposed to be for 12 months. A few months later I was denied access to my account which kept telling me my subscription had expired. Not happy!!

It didn't ask me to sign up, to download anything you just upload the file you want to convert and it downloads the final file to your PC. Perfectly. So far I have not experienced any weird viruses or havne't noticed any other suspicious downloads from them. Hopefuly i never will. So far they work like a charm without having to thru all kinds of hassle like on other sites. Awesome tool. Thank you online convert guys!

I made an account and when I tried to download a sound it demanded that I sign up for their subscription service. Aside form being misleading, their prices are TERRIBLE! 5 Downloads for $15 USD! Personally I think this is an unacceptable intrusion, but you can delete or turn off the toolbar later. Deletion is always better. And as for Ask.com, how many applications *force* you to install the Google toolbar? ] Cute PDF writer is an excellent piece of free software and does exactly as advertised with no fuss. Worth mentioning here is the way that this and other PDF conversion apps of the same type get around the problems caused by "fillable forms" that you often find online. These are PDFs with data fields into which you type your content, before printing the whole thing to your printer. The problem is, fillable forms, once printed, often can't be saved with all your data in there. They will only save as blanks. So if you need to print multiple copies, you have to do the whole lot straight away, and if you don't have a printer but need to use someone else's, you're stuck unless you go to their home or office and fill your forms in there. CutePDF makes this all go away, because as far as your computer is concerned, it's just another printer. Send a document to it for printing, and it will create a PDF file instead, which you treat as any other PDF file. You aren't obliged to print it now, or at all. So now, all you need to do to save copies of a filled form, is send it to CutePDF Writer from your Printers menu. You get a form, with all the fields filled out. You can't modify it any more, not with the freeware version, but you can now save it to a flash drive, take it to the library or a friend's house or the office and print the copies out at your leisure. Apps that use the printer trick are amongst the most useful to have available if you do any document work at all. This one is nowhere nearly the most complex but for most people, it doesn't need to be. It just gets the job done. Recommended.

I purchased one of their products (FluidMask) in 2013 and since then I purchased a new PC. Now, I'm unable to use the software on the new PC even after contacting vertustech.com multiple times. At this point they have blocked me so that I cannot even log in to the support page where I submitted a support request. My software, which I bought and fully paid for, is completely useless. DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! (I have proof of purchase, but I will not include it here because it includes my home address)

great tool for photoshop masking - I used to use corel's knockout 2 for years and just got used to it, but I heard of fluid mask and this works great for masking, especially for doing backgrounds. It can selectively do hair as well which is very impressive. Download it yourself and check it out. Also very easy to use.

Fotoflexer is a free photo editing tool. Even though it does have great, useful features, the negative outweighs the positive. The negative side is that editing photos on Fotoflexer takes forever. There is more loading than editing. It freezes every now and again, and sometimes crashes. Not really recommended for those who want to edit large amounts of photos, but maybe one or two every now and again would be OK.

I used FotoFlexer all the time. I even gave several referrals to use it because I'm a writer and enjoy creating interesting photo covers for my stories. Here's the thing: If you are like me and like everything to be perfect after dedicating hours to creating something fantastic -- not for you. Not to say creations aren't fun -- when they work. But after working hard on adjusting color, cutting the picture out, and then having the system bug out it gets pretty frustrating. On the other hand, it's great for readjusting the size of pictures, by adding pixels, but the adjustment is fairly limited. In a nutshell, if you're using FotoFlexer for something quick and fun, it's like the cheap date you took out as a favor to your friend; but don't expect anything big to come of it.

I did, it seems, make a mistake in my initial submital to Retouche however my attempts to correct my error were ignored with responses totally indifferent of any effort to correct my intent. The final product although it did include a correction I had not requested was marginal at best even with the inclusion of some repeatedly requested corrections. Bottom line, I have received equal or better work for other more complex projects at a much less price and a more rapid response time. I used Retouche only because I lost tract of the previously used firms. I will definitely expend more effort to locate other sources for any future projects. Communications with Paul, who seems to be the primary spokesperson for Retouche, are difficult at best. He seems to be rude and totally indifferent to any thought of the customers wishes. W H Jones

First time I had a .cdr file sent to me from qa client that had it from many, many years back and wanted to use the image on their website. Well, no Corel Draw on my computer (use Illustrator, yes, Corel Draw is probably better) and I did not want to take the time to go to someone I know who has it to convert it. Found a link in a forum to Zamzar and dropped the file onto the browser and was done in 5 minutes as an illustrator file. OH MY GOSH. that was easy and no watermarks and not strings. Thank You! But the guilt ate at me. I should thank them or pay them something for their time and effort. But I do not need a subscription. It was my first .cdr conversion ever. I will probably never do it again. THANK YOU ZAMZAR!!!!

This isn't the most robust video converter for MP4, OGV, or webM, but it is FREE. You can't beat free. The codecs work fine and can help you be HTML5 compliant, however, you have little control over resolution, quality, and audio. If Mira video converter doesn't work for you, I would suggest trying movavi.com as your second option, but that costs around $50. That problem has far more controls over output.

This is a free video converter for iOS devices, which takes on its simplicity and support for a large number of formats.The work of Miro Video Converter (MVC) is very simple. Aiseesoft Screen Recorder really has saved me from headache during the virus-hit learning period. Since I own an iPhone and learn online classes on a Windows computer, manually writing down key points to my Windows computer is always an issue. Fortunately, this software has helped me out. After a couple of days of trying different free & paid versions, Aiseesoft Screen Recorder appeared well ahead. However, when i bought it on my iPhone twice repeatedly due to internet issue, then i contacted the customer service quickly and easily got the refund. I love this recorder. Just use the hotkeys to record the computer sound and narration.

I've got over 2k DVD's & Blu-ray's and let me straighten this myth of doing a few 1000 rips with software that can't even recognize half the $#*! you're trying to conver. First off, I have an i7 coffee lake, 32gb 32000mhz RAM, SAS drives for 6TB on a quality controller and the rest is mixed JBOD and 2 other enclosures fitting 20tbs of storage and it's barely even dented after running a month with this demo. Don't buy it. Don't bother testing it, move along, there is nothing to see here. But if you feel as if you must, here's some facts about this 50$ piece of rubbish I've experienced. For every 50 Blu-ray's 19 ripped (all my movies are ripped into full 1 for 1 clarity ISO images and totaled 40 Blu-ray's, 8 were dvds out of 4 silos holding 200). Of those 19. 2-4 were consistently off on some random point be it audio not starting till 15 minutes in or maybe subtitles not appearing at all, so another 2 as well failed the rip. Mind you I'm going drive to drive, my heart goes out to those of you going disc to drive. The processes hang. They then lock up the files you are trying to convert and make it almost impossible to convert anything. So if you really want to sticker your system with something that does absolutely ****all then this is for you. Also, most other apps are 20-40$, have trials as well, don't lock your system up, so what they say they are capable of doing...even windows movie maker 10 supports mkv... also, yeah all my ISO's play great and have 0 encryption, don't buy this trash.

This is a really good piece of software. It is free to rip DVDs and you get a 30 day trial for ripping bluray discs. To unlock the full features of this program, it is about $60.00 USD. It is well worth it to me. I have easily ripped my who dvd and bluray collection in mkv format. It took about 6 days to rip about 1000 discs. The program is a tad harsh on your components. While MakeMKV was in use, my processor was running at about 99% usage. MakeMKV is also limited by your dvd/bluray drive. My drive is on the lower end of the quality scale (8x), so ripping discs takes a little bit longer than my room mates 16x drive can usually rip faster. The user interface is super easy to use. Literally click what you want and hit "save". Thats it! Kids could probably do this with their dvds. I recommend this software. It is easy to use and at a good price. This, as far as i know, is download only and not available on discs.

I'm finding YouTube Converter to be a great little product. I've been looking for a way to augment my music collection with tunes from past album, cassettes, and 8-tracks that have long-ago worn out. Many times these only had one or two "good" songs that I cared about. If I can find it on YouTube, I can rip it. It's easy. It's fast. I then use Waltr2 to transfer all the downloads to my phone. These are perfect tools for managing music on my iMac and iPhoneX.

I have at least 2 of their products - Waltr and YouTube Converter 2 - both very intuitive - especially the converter/downloader - in fact you'll end up downloading so much there will be no time to watch them all. So selectivity is required. Had issue with downloading another product that in fact was not Mac compatible, as there was no obvious indication it was WIN only >> but I have received a refund the same day almost, in Australia, on a Sunday. So, little products with minimum hassle from this small company.

I found this website online and paid ignitedesign.tv to create a lyric video. Luckily the transaction was through Paypal, they never answered another email again after I paid and I was forced to dispute the payment. specifically I spoke to [email protected]. Don't work with theses guys, it seems like they have great prices and services but its all a scam.

Warning dont subscribe to these guys emails! Although in the UK I think it is illegal not to be able to unsubscribe from emails, when I try to unsubscribe from theirs, I always get HTTP500 Internal Server Error, and if I log in and manage subscriptions the page is always not found. They have clearly made it impossible to unsubscribe.

Be very careful they will find any excuse to up charge you and steal the money! If you don't make decisions fast enough they will attempt the up charge you $500 for inactivity. They will site the agreement and the terms of service as reason for the penalty. I reviewed both carefully and showed them that there is no such clause but they will insist on charging you the penalty to "reactivate" I now spent $799 and got nothing from them.

Please learn from my experience and run away from these people. Video proficient took my money and has not returned ANYTHING. Nothing. A website with a video. They first charge you and then tell you that you need to buy more services to be able to use a video. So, you spend more money. Then more. Its been 2 years and I have not received my website, my logo, my video, my copyrights of the video. In addition to the above FACTS, my OPINION is that many of these people are fake. They send you emails with different names and when you show them email on a commitment, they say, well Jeff is a different guy. If you can understand a fake american accent, you'll share my opinion. Its funny but not funny in a way. Just save your money.

Before I decided to go the community college route, I did look at going to kaplan for the easier schedule and the ability for me to still keep my day job. Looking at their graduates, it appears they struggle to find a job. Just do a search online and you will see that a kaplan degree doesn't mean too much. community colleges have much better local connections to get a job. If you read this do yourself a favor and check all of the local community schools and even if it is more challenging to fit them into your work schedule it is worth it in the long run.

I sent them 45 hours worth of YouTube videos to transcribe... twice. In both cases, work was done in under 16 hours. At the end of the process, they advised me that a few of their captions didn't meet their quality standards and gave me gift cards that more than covered those costs. The transcriptions they told me didn't meet their standards were still pretty decent, and I had one of my employees touch them up in about half an hour. My videos average 8 minutes, so 4 videos needing touchup out of 90 hours indicates a 99.5% rate of good captions. I haven't found any other problems besides trivial capitalization issues on brand names, and that's my fault for not uploading a more comprehensive glossary. I see some reviews of how they treat their employees on here. While I like to imagine my vendors and service providers all have happy staff, I really wish that things like that wouldn't control the star count of the business on this website. I wish there was a separate page and score for persons who currently or previously worked for the firm being reviewed.

Since I started researching ways to make money online last August, I've definitely made the most money through Rev.com. It's not something you can do while watching TV, unlike some other mindless survey sites, but it does make you money. $875.85 so far, to be exact. Pro Tip: If you are living outside of the U.S., you might need to use a VPN to pretend that you don't. I've been messaged by people who said they had their accounts cancelled for living in the Philippines. I was able to re-sign them up, and I think that might be because I live mainland. (October 20th, 2004 -- Email sent to Roxio regarding Order ID #200410190820ROX585033:) When Roxio sent me the special invitation to to upgrade my Roxio CD Creator version 5 for $40 for a limited time only, I thought Roxio was offering the latest version, so on Tuesday, 19th of October 2004, I jumped on it before Roxio had a chance to change their minds. So, I'm asking, "If do decide to still get version 7, is it possible to upgrade from this to the new one for another $40. Still considering 7.0 but not for $120 ($40 + $100-$20." Somehow this seems kind of sneaky. Watch what you are upgrading to, before you accept an offer as being a must accept. It looks like Roxio fooled me into upgrading to version 6.2, hoping I will pay another $100 to upgrade next week to version 7.0! (sent to Roxio on 11/8/2004 4:40:09) I've tried out your Roxio Easy CD & DVD Creator 6.2 and have found it is not for me! The Disk Copy does not like my DVD/CD Reader (all music CD's are seen as incompatible blank DVD's in version 6 -- but seen fine by other peice of software, including the EOM version 5, of Roxio) and the Sound Editor really doesn't seem any better that the $7 RIP Vinyl program I already have. The rest of the program is of little use to me, as my program of preference is still Microsoft Media Player versions 9 and 10 for most storing and burning of CDs. And, For RIPping cassettes, I still prefer RIP Vinyl. Is there a process for returning Roxio 6 and getting my money back? I have already uninstalled version 6 off my computer and put version 5 OEM back onto my computer. I have Roxio 6. Seduced by Roxio's emailed barrage of how great version 7 is I ordered it. However, it turns out that version 7 is not backward compatible with version 6. During installation of 7 one is advised to leave version 6 installed "to avoid problems in reading media recorded on version 6. There is no mention of this problem in the manual (which is so cheap you will need a magnifying glass to read the tiny faint print) and one doesn't find out about it until you've broken the software seal and tried to instal it. I emailed them asking if it was imperative to leave version 6 installed and in reply received one of their canned "knowledge base" replies. I had researched and read it previously and it did not address the issue. I emailed them again asking them to please just answer my question. I still want for the courtesy of a reply. I am switching to Nero and I am sending Roxio 7 back. Of course there's no mention of RMA's etc on their site so I'll dispute the charge with my credit card company on the basis that Roxio did not disclose the problem up front. Userisme.
